Return to the feelings
Our emotions in dreams can help us understand its meaning. Pay attention to how you felt in the dream. Pay attention to how you feel about accents in dreams. See how you feel about accents now, in your waking life.
What are possible meanings for dreams of accents?
To dream about speaking with an accent can symbolize difficulty expressing yourself. Do you feel misunderstood? Are your words just not coming out right?
Take the idea further. Perhaps you are not expressing your feelings or articulating your thoughts the way you want to.
Using an accent that draws positive attention to you might mean you give off the impression of confidence or sophistication. Sometimes people with accents are considered interesting or intriguing. If an accent draws negative attention, it might mean you feel insecure or persecuted. The symbolism is based on the fact that the wrong accent used around the wrong people can spell trouble.
Accents are sometimes viewed as exotic and foreign. Those associations can be stretched by dreams to include anything that falls outside your scope of experience, or is foreign to you. For example, computer languages are foreign to most people who don’t study computer programming. Engineering, medicine, and science have specialized languages and lexicons that to outsiders sound foreign and confusing. You might recognize the words used but not the meaning or subtext. See: Foreignness
A dream character that speaks with an accent might symbolize something about yourself or another person you don’t fully understand. It can mean you have part of the picture but not the whole thing. Something is puzzling or quirky.
Because understanding someone speaking with an accent requires more attention than usual, it can mean you really need to listen. You aren’t giving something the attention it needs. Or something is “lost in translation.” Listening closely to understand an accent can be a way of drawing attention toward something about yourself you need to understand.
An accent that’s difficult to understand can symbolize something that’s misunderstood, or a situation is looked at from different perspectives.
Accent in another sense means “to emphasize.” It’s important, worthy of attention, and can be symbolized as a dream character that speaks with an accent.

Prada, Perfume, Flirting, Beatnik, Rapey deja vu and Car won't start
I had this dream a while back, I still think of it, so I was wondering if anyone would care to offer an interpretation?
It's a bit long, so if you need tldr...
- too large for gorgeous dresses
- perfume that transforms my shoulders and arms to paper scales
- flirt with British beatnik in an alley who turns me down cold
- get deja vu of being raped
- car won't start, see bad man behind me.
Still interested? Details below. :-)
I'm in a clothing store browsing for clothes with my friends. There is a new Prada dress that has been released and a steady stream of thin gorgeous girls are literally grabbing the dresses off the rack. I have spiteful fun telling a girl she is a size 10 and watching her get upset she's not a size 8. The dress only comes in a size 8, so I am obviously too large for it. This continues for a while.
There is a glorious shining perfume wall with many beautiful perfumes and I delight in trying them. Then the store is closing and the lights dim. But there's time for just one last perfume.
I quickly find one with little bits of glitter in the bottle, and swiftly sprinkle it over my shoulders and arms. It doesn't really smell much; it's a bit disappointing.
As I exit the shop, I notice that my arms and shoulders are completely covered with a scale-like covering of little squares of silver paper. I laugh to myself.
I see a somewhat scruffy beatnik looking man smoking a cigarette watching me. I grin and ask him, 'Do YOU fancy being covered in glitter?'
He replies with a British accent, 'No... Why would I want that?'
'Oh, you never know,' I reply, flirting.
I walk around a secluded corner, casually picking and rolling off bits of glitter and pieces flutter to the ground.
I'm suddenly on high alert and aware I am dreaming. I remember that in a previous dream, I was viciously raped here. I have forgotten the dream but know it in my body. I don't remember by whom or exactly where, it is a bit like de ja vu- this has all happened before.
I think if I can get to my car, I can drive away fast. There doesn't seem to be anyone close by, so I hop into the car and press the central locking button. But as I look in the rearview mirror, I see that a different man had already hopped into the backseat. The car won't start. I am filled with dread. I try to get out of the car and wake up.

Really, really strange dream.
I dreamed that a strange vampire carrying a huge upside down cross was chasing Diane Bish around my house. She was laughing uncontrollably. Then me and my grandfather were watching TV. There were a bunch of strange fruits and juices. Then we talked about how Bill Gaither was apparently running for President. Then a really strange guy with a nasally voice and a Scottish accent that looked similar to my friend and one of my teachers. Me and my crush were throwing spoons (which my crush seems to think I’m afraid of in real life) and strawberries at the guy.

Just Now While Napping, Dreamed About Waking Up From A Nap And Strange Things Happened.
So I'm actually napping, and I dream I wake up and wander towards the bathroom. The house looks a bit like my real house, only much larger! It's dark for some reason, thick curtains I guess.
I turn on the bathroom light and there's all sorts of kitchen things piled up. Very strange! I notice there are boxes of kitchen stuff piled up in the hallway too.
So I go into my kitchen and there's been all sorts of construction going on. Odd, I don't recall asking for any. Then a fellow walks in through the back door (into the kitchen) says "Hi there" in a casual way and starts working on the exposed electric wires.
It try to talk to him, but the words are hard to make. I'm pretty sure I was talking in my actual sleep, it was a lengthy conversation.
I'm saying: Who are you? Where did you come from? What's going on? And so forth. Because my speech is so weird he thinks I'm mocking his accent and starts getting mad. I explain I just work up and have sleep paralysis for a while. This calms him down, he shows me his business card. "Oxecli Anokiln" is his name, or something. (I think it changed letters once or twice as I tried pronouncing it with my impaired speech, lolz!)
It turns out he was supposed to be at a different house, and he'd been working the whole time I was sleeping :/ He was installing a new light over the sink & window, it looked expensive. He seemed very unhappy and I was wondering if he'd finish the work or not.
Something started leaking, I called for my brother, a few more things happened before I actually work up. :-)

An eternal?
I had this short but odd dream in which my boyfriend and I were on our way to a hotel at a beach. When we arrived, we realized we could not get to the hotel by car. Someone from valet parking took the car and we stayed at shore. We immediately saw this beautiful beach restaurant that looked very attractive and had a tropical style (in real-life I live in a tropical island), plus a lot of natural light (incredibly bright). We went to check it out and someone that looked like the manager of the place welcomed us. My boyfriend said he wanted a table for two, but the manager didn't understand him....so my boyfriend did this weird accent in which he repeated he wanted a table for two and the manager nodded and smiled.
A second passed and my boyfriend told me he was going to take some things to the hotel room and that I could wait for him there, at the restaurant, and he took off.
I look at the manager, waiting for him to take me to the table and he asks: "So, tell me, do you come from another place or are you an eternal?" And my face immediately changes (like if I knew what he was talking about, but in reality I do not) and I smiled and said: "It's funny that you think I come from another place, you're not the only one that has asked. I am an eternal." And he proceeds with: "Well, your features are not common among the eternals, so I bet you'll get that question a lot."
I answered: "I bet I will"
To what he said: "Very well, eternal. Enjoy your stay." And he signaled toward the inside of the restaurant and everything turned white, bright white and blinding light and I woke up.
× Just in case, I have not watched movies or series related to what is mentioned. Also, I have been dealing with moving in with my boyfriend all this past week- I mention these just in case there is any type of relevance towards my dream×

Crazy coincidence or a message from someone?
I had a dream today...
It could just all be a coincidence but it was very crazy coincidence if so ..
I dreamt about someone who was from a place called "Poponcini" and woke up wanting to look on Google maps, to see if a place called such existed..
I pulled it up, and low and behold the place does exist.. and it is located on "VIA CASSIA st"!! . With my name I've gone by my whole life being "Cassie" I found it to be a really cool... that the St name and my name were very close and just one letter difference..
How could a place I dreamt of and never heard about, have such a crazy coincidence..
I've never been to Italy, never researched it, or anything.
I have no idea why I dreamt of this place, or the specific person... The person in my dream was named "Vern" or "Fern" he had an accent so it was harder for me to tell which...
I would be mind blown, if someone going by that name actually does work at that place. 🤯
