Picture in your mind a hummingbird. What are its qualities? It’s fast. It darts. It gets into tight places. It’s territorial.
Now consider how those qualities can be used to connect with your personal qualities or situations in your life. You could be like a social butterfly, never settling anywhere for long. You might feel like the time you have is short or is going by quickly. You have the ability to get out of tight personal places. You defend your territory.
The hummingbird in a dream can depict something about you or a situation you’re in, or it can characterize something you observe about a person you know.
A hummingbird can symbolize quick wit or a quick mind. It can symbolize never settling anywhere for long, as with someone who travels constantly. It can symbolize cheerfulness and enthusiasm. Because hummingbirds have regular territory, they can symbolize something that connects people or communities.

Had a dream about marrying a guy I know....but, not really
I just had a dream and needed to tell someone lol.
I dreamed that I married a guy that I'm friends with on FB! I'm shocked that I would dream this. We went to HS together, and were acquaintances, but never more than that, and I have never spoken or messaged with him at all after that. It felt so sweet and romantic and lovely....
I also dreamed that he found a beautiful gold hummingbird and that we spent forever going through an intricately laid out garden trying to find somewhere to release it that didn't have a covered ceiling.
Too bad it would be crazy weird and creepy to tell him about it! Lol Oh well....

Dream I had on 4/26 ~
Hummingbird outside the windows, saw eat from white flower. Baby hummingbird came into the house and wouldn’t leave. Concerned mama hummingbird might be looking for it. Got to see hummingbird up close. Very interesting. Went outside the door to let hummingbird out and saw many different birds perched on porch ceiling. Saw white dove - put my hand out and it sat in my hand. Pooped in my hand (good luck?). Then saw a turtle dove-it also sat in my hand. Then saw Two light colored birds with black markings around neck feathers - that I believe wanted to eat the baby hummingbird. Looked like chickens but we’re flying birds.

Breastfeeding a young Hawk dream
I had a dream of breastfeeding a young (not baby) Hawk. And then it flew away and I had a very bad feeling like I needed to call him back, I look outside and see a swirl of crows like a small tornado. They start to burn up from the inside. No flames, they just start turning red like coal. I call the Hawk to come for protection and a bunch of birds come at me. Humming birds, pigions, geese, parrots, every kind. They land on me, some try to hide in my hair, all looking for protection. I try to get them off me and get them in the house. I'm still looking for the hawk but I have to shut the door to protect the birds as they start to panic and they might get out. I shut the door... I wake up.

Dream of a stranger, a wise man, a giant, and two birds
In the dream, I meet a lady. I don't know her -- but she has a pleasant smile. Her hair is short, messy, and brown. We talk, laugh, and walk around. I do not seem to mind her company. She seems to follow my stride as I pace around with my hand clasped behind my back. Whatever the topic of our conversation is both of us seem to express agreement, I don’t remember hearing a word. At some point, she is holding two corners of a light blanket and waves it out at me as if I might take hold of the other corners to fluff it out in the wind when she remarked how handsome I am. This takes me aback when I see that there's another person, a man, in our midst. He's detached from the conversations between the lady and myself. He appears to be a philosopher or wise man of contemporary times by the look of his clothing. He is talking but not to us, just talking to no one in particular. However, he seems to be speaking in a way that is thoughtful and descriptive. His mannerisms and gestures are those of a teacher. Suddenly, a large woman appears as she does by poking her quite large head out a nearby earthen door. She is large as in a giant. She invites the lady and me to enter her earthen house. Inside nothing moves, and no one speaks, but I see a window. Through a window of a number of white trimmed panes, maybe four or maybe six, I see the philosopher man standing with his back to me. He's facing a vista from high ground. He is unwavering in his speech to the aether, mouthing messages of meaning that I feel but don't hear with my ears. From the now and then slight tilts of his head, I catch glimpses of his mouth moving and his hands gesturing. His fingers are like crooked sticks. Suddenly, two birds descend above his head. The two birds are hummingbird-like but larger and magnificent. They have wings that whirr like a hummingbird’s wings. Both have plumage of blue and white and a glimmering silvery sheen all over. The crown of each bird is like a black blade pointing back to a long black tail. Both have long pointed peaks. The two birds, however, are slightly different. One is bluer than the other, more vibrant I think. The other has a red ring of plumage around the neck. The bluer bird lands on the philosopher's right shoulder (who is still facing away from me). The other hovers over the left shoulder, attempting to land, whirring its wings loudly. The two birds were making a fusing noise at one another.

Slightly creepy lore dream about Hoopoes
I can only remembers a small fragment of this dream, which I just woke up from. Basically I was walking through a forest with two other guys, one of whom was my father in the dream and the other one was apparently my younger brother (I’m estranged from both in real life).
We heard a deep male voice mumbling something that sounded like a recording played backwards, only a few individual words were completely normal (words like “radio” and “wallet” for example). This voice was coming from a hoopoe bird perched in a tree nearby.
As we all realised that we were surrounded by hoopoes, which were hovering like hummingbirds for some reason, I began explaining the original lore behind hoopoes; their calls that sounded like distorted human speech were apparently based on the last words of people before they died, as each and every hoopoe was once a person who was killed and their soul hasn’t properly moved on to the afterlife so they’ve been reincarnated as these birds.
I have absolutely no idea how my subconscious came up with that. As a Muslim, I’m quite curious to know what this dream means, since hoopoes are quite spiritually significant in Islam. Any and all advice is appreciated.
