Disturbing dream - please help interpret

I Posted on a different subreddit but no one has given me any answers, so I’m posting here.
Hello, I’m a 20 year old female and last night I had a very very disturbing dream. Let me start off by saying this dream happened the day I tried to reconnect with my mother after cutting her off for over a year (thanks Forgiveness Therapy) , and I haven’t really spoken to my family in months, (not for lack of trying they just don’t contact me back). I used to live in the country where it was commonplace to see cows, livestock, and deer everywhere.
In this dream I was about 10. My mother, step father, sister(16 in dream), my brother (13 in dream) , and I were in my step dad’s old truck going to a carnival/ petting zoo sort of thing. Everything seemed to be okay, we were laughing and talking together like we were a family, until we got to our destination. We all got out of the truck and walked up to this barn, when we went inside I noticed a long-horned bull behind steel bars with its head sticking out from the bottom, it looked like it was dying and in search of water. I was concerned but everyone just kept walking and joking/laughing, it was like I was the only one who cared.
All of the sudden the scenery changed and we were walking down a paved road to get to our old house, I looked to the grass side of the road and a tractor had crashed into a barbed wire fence with cows surrounding the wreck, some of them dead. I remember being worried about the driver because he was nowhere to be seen. We kept walking, I looked to another pasture and saw dozens of horses, one was laying on the ground with metal chains wrapped around its feet and mouth, again I was freaking out a little but kept moving on. Finally when we came to a stop I saw one of the pasture owners working on the fence a couple yards away from the horses. I quickly ran up to her while my family stayed behind, heading off the paved road onto a dirt road near our old house. I ran up to this lady and said “hey, that horse over there is in distress and I think we should help it, also there was a crash and I can’t see the driver-“ she cut me off saying “Don’t worry about that, That horse has a bum leg and always does that, go away” I was thinking to myself “what a bitch” and walked away towards my family.
We started walking back the way we came, down the paved road again and I saw the deeply disturbing scenes again, finally I spoke up to my family , “ hey, we should really help these animals and I saw a a tractor wreck I think we should check out” but no one listened to me.
Suddenly we were back in the barn and I was face to face with the long-horned bull, only this time it was dead. Disturbed I pushed my way out of the barn and ran to a near by open area, my family close behind. They looked at me like I was crazy, scoffed, and turned to talk amongst themselves. The last thing I remember was trying to get my mother to talk to me, crying and pleading for her to just listen so we could help those animals and the driver of the tractor but again, no one was listening. A flash of the dead bull’s eyes popped up and I snapped awake.
Please help me try to figure this dream out, it scares the shit out of me and I don’t know what to make of it. I’m also open to questions.

Nightmare I had, but never got interpreted.
what had happened was, the US had been nuked, but I was in my old house my family (during the divorce, my mom and my brother.) had managed to survive, but then waves of natural disasters came, but we managed to survive. Later on we took in some other people. There was a girl that we had let in, but she seemed familiar. Anyways, I went downstairs to play some Pokken Tournament on a switch. (Which, keep in mind, at my older house the wall where the TV was, there wasn't one.) Anyways, the switch got stuck on the loading screen. I went back upstairs. After that I went downstairs with a girl to go get supplies and be safe or something, but on my way down, there was a windstorm or something. It seemed like a windstorm broke down the glass windows, and I had gotten scratches and scars in my arm. The most vivid one I can recall was the scratch near the top of my left arm. That scared me to shit. I don't recall what happened to the girl. (Alright, so to provide backstory, do you know what the Finnish frogmen look like? If not, Google them.) So the frogmen in bone white armor and glowing purple eyes seemed to be military or militia, but I recall one jumping at me through the window as I was on my way down the stairs. However, as that part happened, I felt like I had a choice to stay in the dream, but I didn't. I talked about this dream with a friend as I have never had a dream like this. I felt horrified after waking up. One of my friends said that the cause might be something that changed me. (To provide more backstory, I had just lost most of my friends, and I feel like I'm the bad person, and I was bullied a lot from 1st grade until 5th grade when I moved and a kid convinced all the other kids to bully me otherwise he'd bully them. I don't know what's going on in my life anymore. I can't stand hearing the voices of my ex-friends during zoom meetings at school, because it always reminds me how shit of a person I am.)

Non-scary kind of random post-apocalyptic dream
So I woke up today from a strange kind of post-apocalyptic dream, and I was thinking about it all day. I was hoping anybody had any ideas of potential meanings, just for fun.
I was living in a this street with half-abandoned houses. It was kind of up a hill, old Europe-y vibe. the houses were kind of colorful though, even though some were fully crumbled, and even our house was kind of falling apart. We did live in the "poor" part of town though. I found this out in the dream when I had to go to the rich part for my job and it was full of all-intact white houses, a bit too pristine. they were all fully lived in too. We also moved houses in the dream, to a slightly bigger house someone from our group discovered to be empty - but just across the street from the old house, still in the poor part of town. I vaguely remember being afraid of leaving someone behind, but that person chose to go somewhere else. There were about 4 or 5 pairs living in this new bigger house (just across the street, looked like an abandoned shopping mall).
Anyway, the main thing about this post-apocalyptic world is that a lot of people became infected with this thing. Anytime people were infected, they would get paired with someone else who was also also infected. From this pair however, only one person could transform into something (a hybrid between an animal and a monster, kind of like pokemon I guess), the other person looked normal - they just now had this connection. Think of the movie "the golden compass". Uninfected people were neither paired nor could transformed. This street, and actually entire city was mostly made up of infected people though. I was also infected, and sometimes I was the normal person in the pair, others I was the one turning.
We would all go out to do normal things during the day, the only thing is that we had to be careful not to be seen (this also happened when we were moving). This was part of the routine though, and it was like nothing was wrong.
For some reason, at some point I had to go to a different city. Everybody was worried about me but I was totally relaxed at first. I started walking, but when I got to stand below a highway bridge I started to worry because I remembered that in other cities people were scared of the infected people, and I were prejudiced as well. I noticed the area below the bridge looked abandoned, had a bunch of debris, and was also partially flooded. When I noticed the flooding was not that shallow, I started panicked a bit about drowning or getting lost. My pair though turned into what I can only describe as giant fluffy water dragon and I was like "oh yeah, this is super lucky, I forgot for a sec they could do that".
We rode in the water until we got into this half-abandoned, half-ruined subway/train, and went looking for a seat. As soon as I sat down, I looked to the side and saw a bunch of half-dead people. I froze. They were the normal, non-infected people and I was afraid of what they would think when they saw my pair.
The train had started moving though so I couldn't just leave, and I decided to pretend everything was fine and hope they wouldn't notice.
I noticed a few of them were starting to look ovei in my direction, and they seemed intrigued, but not angry or anything else, so I was relieved again.
Then i woke up.

dreamt of a huge black snake with gold scales in my grandmother's old house that's destroyed now.
So somewhere in the middle of the dream, we realised that there was a huge snake hiding in my grandmother's house, by we, I mean, my dad, sister and I. my grandmother wasn't really in the house. The house doesn't exist anymore. it had a tall wodden ceiling and wood detailing inside. The dream version of the house isn't how it was irl. The snake for some reason couldn't enter this one room that had a lot of wooden detailing in this arch above the bed and that's where I spent most the dream hiding and panicking while my sister and dad were the ones trying to hunt it down. The few times that I encountered it I made no attempt to kill it, instead just got away from it.
It was black with these glints of gold that wouldn't reflect if it was in a dark place, so every time I entered a room, I'd be extremely anxious of the corners and the shadows since encountering them once. Finally, everything was seemingly normal for a few seconds when my parents and I sat in the living room until my sister walked in holding its skin like a trophy, she was obviously very proud. At that moment I wondered what the snake looked like without the skin an this image of a reddish dark snake without skin and blood around other lighter coloured snakes without skins flashed to my mind.
The snake's skin was matte black, with these very detailed gold scales that shone, upon being turned around, it had gold streaks all over the other side of the body.
I wouldn't normally think about a dream this much but this one just feels different, I consider myself a skeptic and something of an atheist, but recently I've been encountering these strangely spiritual symbols, like seeing 1111 everywhere and having a lot of mental change in general. Rationally I know that it's just a coincidence or confirmation bias, but I still feel like I can't see the bigger picture of something.
So somewhere in the middle of the dream, we realised that there was a huge snake hiding in my grandmother's house, by we, I mean, my dad, sister and I. my...

I was going to school it was the last day of school and I was talking to my mom about how it was going to be a good summer vacation and I got to school and started the day off as normal put my stuff in my locker and went to my first class of the day. But then about 30 mins into class (I didn't dream that long or anything I just knew) A zombie broke down the door into the class and starts eating my classmates. I run away and usher everybody out of the class and close the door before the zombie comes to get us. I turn around and the school is in Anarchy Zombies everywhere and people getting eaten I run to grab my stuff out of my locker because I thought I would need them. Then a zombie pins me to the lockers behind and tries to bite me. I open a locker and hit it in the face and kick the zombie into the locker and shut it. Then I grab my stuff from my locker and then all the zombies start chasing me I text my mom to pick me up from the school.
