What are skunk dreams about?

Last night I dreamed that a man (a stranger) was in my front yard offering to catch some of the skunks that have been around. I said sure go for it. Eventually he got one, I couldn't tell if it was a skunks or a white cat. It hissed at me like a cat, but I smelledskunksk and was afraid of it touching me.

What does that mean?

I’m not sure what kind of animal I was, but I woke up under a tree with a skunk, badger and a small deer. I felt a piece of hot ash hit me and when I awoke, we were caught in a forest fire. I tried to wake up the other animals and they were so panicked when their eyes opened. We tried to run, but everywhere we went was just burning. We went back under the tree and I just watched them all shake in fear. The sadness was so overwhelming that I woke up sobbing. That was so traumatic, I felt like I was watching a vision, like that was what an actual animal was seeing at that moment.

During a midday nap I had a very weird dream within a dream.

I dreamt I was at a massive restaurant that extended outside for a long while. There were many boardwalk paths to walk, which went alongside taxidermy animals like rhinoceros hornbills, shows where skunks and kittens walked past you, and pastures with "animatronic" dinosaurs like sauropods indistinguishable from the real thing. It turned somewhat nightmarish when I lost sight of my dad and stepmom and ran around yelling for them while everyone ignored me. My surprise at seeing a fruit bat in a small cave with pizza slices hanging upside down from the ceiling unfortunately led to someone terrified of the bat strangling it until it went unconscious. I did find my dad and stepmom eventually. There was lots of talk about a bizarre serious live action Mario series for adults on AMC, which had the cover picture on the Entertainment Weekly magazines everyone was reading. Luigi got a job as a construction worker but occasionally swapped bodies with Gobo Fraggle who was confused by the silly creatures acting like Doozers, Yoshi's death was allegedly quite tragic, and Danny DeVito was Wario. It apparently already was a huge failure that got cancelled but I told everyone my "unpopular opinion" that while not perfect it was actually kinda good as its own weird show when you separate it from Mario, which everyone agreed with. When I woke up, I briefly thought the series was real and wondered why the hell no one ever talked about it. On the drive back home, the sound of howling dogs filled the air. Apparently the release of the AMC Mario drama has caused dogs across the US to howl loudly at night. There also were fireworks attached to windmills.

But at some point, something super strange happened. The dream above was randomly interrupted by another dream and then continued on as normal. In this dream, the soul of my cat companion inside a cat shaped hat lead me to a mysterious empty mansion. The mansion had an unlocked door and was kept very clean, but was also mostly empty. That is, except the total annoying Harry Potter kid with a dog soul hat who was walking around pretending to be Harry Potter and getting on my nerves. I explored the house stealthily to avoid him, and for the most part I avoided him. There was a children's kitchen playset where all of the kitchen utensils were alive and singing obnoxiously not too much unlike Don't Hug Me I'm Scared and seemed to be malicious. I narrowly escaped while the annoying kid got attacked by the kitchen playset and some tarsier statues. Then, the dream abruptly got interrupted by the previous one.

Also, lemme just say that I'm glad theres somewhere on the internet to share this stuff, as this isn't the only super weird and intricate dream I've had my whole life lol. I think I had one when I was 5 about hotdogs going up through the shower drain and attacking me.

I had a dream of being in a court room with my ex, we were sitting in the audience on a bench. I got really mad at some guy there, I took my bike went down a hill very fast and when I got the building were I presumably lived there were carpenters fixing the ceiling in the living room, I talked to them about getting into another field of work, when all of a sudden the focus changed to me growing weed in the garden, I was explaining to them how to get a dense bud on a skunk plant when I decided to offer them some. When I did it was blue and white maize, (corn) still fresh on the cob. We all took a bite (there were two workers, one with a long ponytail I never got to see his face. After eating it we realised that it was mescaline not corn/weed and I got frightened and very high instantly colours turned green and brownish. Then I woke up. Any ideas?

Hey Reddit, I need help translating this dream. It was the most vivid dream I have ever had in my life.

I was driving with my dad in a red truck that we have never owned and we stopped at this white country house. I think we stopped to get gas or something but anyways - I went inside and there was only girls with familiar faces in there and out of all of them I saw someone I thought I had finally gotten off my mind, let’s call her “h”. H was someone whom I was extremely close to a few years ago, someone who I told everything to, but we never dated (although I did have feelings and this was ultimately what ruined our friendship).

But moving back to the dream world, I spoke to her for awhile until I finally went back outside to find my dad trying to shoo off a raccoon. Then I went to chase it off and a skunk started chasing me shortly after. While running, I looked up on google how to evade skunk and I read that you need to run far and get very high up - and push comes to shove and I am tumbling down a very yellow rocky mountain until I was knocked out.

Then, I woke up at my job. For some reason I was hiding balled up notes in a freezer compartment there, until I was called to go see my manager. Apparently they wanted to promote me to be a security person for the job - to make sure customers did not steal anything and to help get authorities to the store if the need arises. I ultimately said no and I went back to my department and I reopened the freezer compartment and I picked up and read a few of the notes. I don’t remember what they said, but I recognized that the notes had a “-(h)” on each of them, and I realized that they were from the girl. Then I woke up.

So ummm.. what??
