Midnight black wolf snarling and attacking me
Starting to worry about this dream …
I had a dream that I was at my childhood home and I step out of my front door and a large jet black wolf streaked with blue shining in its undercoat was staring at me… and completely snarling and growling at me. Teeth bared snout scrunched and all his fur was standing up from its head to its mid back. He was fucking ferocious but insanely beautiful at the same time.
In this dream there was also another dog that was outside growling back at it trying to protect me. Im a huge animal lover and in my dream I did not want the snarling wolf to attack and harm the dog so I somehow got between the two slowly and coaxed the nice dog inside my house. My house was exactly the same too. The wood floors. The red door w the glass windows bordering the door way to outside. The family room to my right , everything exact.
So I got the dog inside and shut the door but the snarling black wolf wouldn’t let it up it now went nuts once the door was shut and it couldn’t get to me. So it started to try and break the glass windows surrounding the door. It almost got into the house and I had to hold it back by its neck while it was snapping and snarling at me. In my dream I thought “man this is why people must have to shoot wild animals at times” I hate when animals die bc usually it means they’re just scared if they turn violent but I was soafraid in my dream I actually thought of trying to kill it bc it was relentless it wouldn’t stop trying to get to me.
Eventually after wrestling w this wild wolf and trying to hold it back away from my face I woke up.
Anyone have any input as to why I had this dream?
I went though a very intense and life altering breakup last year. A few weeks ago I reached out to my ex after a year of not talking to make pace. At first it felt like a relief then as weeks went by I felt how our connection had basically jsut broken. Me reaching out to make peace .. gave him peace and freed him. I realized that this jsut made it worse for me and my grief has been swallowing me whole.
Is this showing me that no matter what I’ll stay in this depressed state ? I mean. It’s been over a year now. And it feels like it’s just getting worse for me and better for him. I loved him with my whole soul.. I really did.. still do and I’m in a ton of emotional agony.
Is this dream telling me I’m basically fucked? Lol

A dream about saving my father from committing suicide
Last night for some reason I dreamt of my family living in the rural area again and for some reason there was some kind of protest going on. I joined the protest in support and when I retured home I found my father with a pistol in his hand with which he intended to shoot his brains off. As I got into a werstle with him while continuously asking him the reason for such act, he was determined to pull the trigger off with the gun on his head. And in the wrestle, he ended up shooting my left arm four times. I felt extreme pain but was determined to get the gun off his hand, and at last he got tired and I was successful. And then I felt the pain in my arm and screamed as the blood spattered all over my body.
That's all I remember. Just wanted to share because I have none to share such personal things with. May I ask what can you interpret from the dream?

She switched a wedding ring from her ring finger to her index finger
I've been infatuated with a woman at work, but I'm afraid to ask her out because she is a superior - I don't want to upset her nor get either of us in trouble. I've just never met anyone like her. So I've been wrestling with that. I don't even know if she's currently attached, but it feels like there is something between us.
And then I had this dream. We work together at a retail store. I was standing next to her in the dream, on her left while she was looking something up on one of the computers at the front of the store. I always forget to notice in real life if there is a ring on her finger because I am so focused on chatting with her, but in the dream I noticed a huge rock (specifically a wedding ring with large jewel or gem, clear/white/shiny like a diamond or something) on her left ring finger. She lifted her hand with the back of the palm facing me, with her face forward toward the computer, and she moved the ring herself from her ring finger to her index finger and held it up to me with her hand in the open position. I also noticed her hair was tied back, which she doesn't normally do.
What does this all mean? It was so vivid.

Had a dream about burying my dog alive in a desert, what does this mean?
Hey reddit. This one is weird, haunting, and is kinda messing with my head since waking up. If someone can help me interpret what this means that would be much appreciated.
Ok, the extent of my memory is that I was stuck out in a desert, how I got there and why I got there is a whole nother story that I unfortunately don't have details to. I was originally there with a small group, but overtime that group dwindled down to just me (maybe I lost contact? maybe they died out? Idk). There was a trail that led to a cliff, following it to the cliff, to the left of the cliff was an area that I used as shade and a minimal amount of cover. I never felt as if I was suffering per say (I wasn't thirsty, hot, etc)
That was the background, now I came back to camp one day and to my surprise I found my dog. (his name is Watson. Beautiful golden lab golden retriever mix and is by far he was the greatest friend I had during my formative years of adolescence. I got him when I was 16 and he was only 8 weeks old. Unfortunately at the time of writing this, I am 19 & no longer in possession of him. Unfortunate and very extreme circumstances saw me kicked out of the house and having the choice of giving him up to the pound or finding someone who can take him within a few weeks. I gave him to my friend and he's been loved by them ever since and is in a genuinely good home.) I was elated to see him and that was obviously a requited feeling as he met me by jumping in my arms and climbing over my shoulders onto my back for a piggy back ride. I saw him maybe 4 times throughout the dream total, and everytime was when I was back at that place and I was elated to pet him, to hug him, wrestle him, and hold him. Well fast forward to the last time, I guess I noticed he was feeling hot so I dug up an area where he could rest and cool down, he laid down in that place that would soon be his grave. I was in the process of covering half of his body with sand and then the dream kind of cuts out and it fast forwards me to something else then when I return to camp, he is nowhere to be seen (of course now I'm like, well why didn't you look where you buried him, but obviously I wasn't thinking of that at the moment as something more trivial was on my mind) but having something else to do I leave. Later the next day I returned and he wasn't there, I looked all around and then it hit me, I turned 180 degrees and my eyes locked on this big block of dirt. In my head I'm screaming "No No No No No!" As I run over and as I'm removing dirt I see his head, lifeless, limp. I fall back and crawl away and I remember crying so so hard in the dream and screaming and being hilarious. Thoughts like "I know I didn't bury him!" "I don't remember doing this!" "How did this happen?!" were prevalent in my head.
Now at this point I become consciously aware of what's going on (I guess the emotion got SO vivid?) and I wake up. My head is still fixated on that cold image of his lifeless and limp head there. And now I'm writing this post. This dream was cold and very very dark that had emotional highs and lows and I can't find the reason why I dreamt this.
What is your interpretation of this dream and what it's trying to tell me about my waking life?

Do you guys ever wake yourself up from a dream by grabbing your balls?
So I had a dream I had to fight a black kid using a stop sign as a shield who was trying to rob me for a bottle of sailor Jerry’s as I got in my car. In the dream, I was wrestling with him and I thought he was grabbing my balls and I started losing my breathe and tensing up in pain, then I woke up and realized I was actually just grabbing my own balls in real life.
That’s not the first time I’ve done that. Does that ever happen to anyone else?
