Hi, I'd love if yall could help interpret my dream!

So, basically, my father has always been a part of my life, he was always present everywhere, but it still feels like his whole life revolves around his work rather than family.

Today my dream was, I was a child and my brother had a birthday.

(This was in the morning) My mom, my brother and I were sitting in the kitchen just chatting (none of us said 'happy birthday' to him), then suddenly, my brother gets up and walks towards the garden of the house and we follow him, he walks into the garden and then walks back with an amazing breakfast, eggs and shit.

my mom and I start awkwardly singing happy birthday as if we were part of the breakfast and didn't just forget his birthday, we walk back towards the kitchen (I remember my father leaning on the side of the door, smiling, though I didn't see him in the dream) and we keep singing and being really happy.

Then I see my father leaving for work and I run up to him, give him a huge hug and say "Thank you"

I woke up crying and I'm crying while writing this but I have no idea why, my father is alive and fine and we see him often, he isn't even that far from us because of work or anything.

Thanks for the help in interpreting!

The world ends on Kermit’s Birthday

I started watching a a video from PhilosophyTube about Climate Grief before bed and long story short I ended up having a really vivid nightmare about the world ending on Kermit the Frog’s Birthday.... which sounds to fantastical to be a vivid dream but basically I was in Paris with some strangers and there was a parade for Kermit the Frog’s “birthday”. I was with my cousin and a couple of strangers and we were all joking about how we were all gonna die and all anyone could fucking talk about is Kermit the FUCKIN frog. We were all making plans about how we were going to spend our last couple hours, we went online to see what other people were doing and apparently someone organized a really big orgy that was streaming on twitch. I thought this was kinda gross so I just didn’t look at it and closed the website. At some point I decided to go outside to look at the sky, I got lost in the crowd and I realized I wanted to die with my cousin or my mom and I tried to get back and the sky just went red and everything went hot and then I was under the Eiffel Tower and the sun heated up the metal and I suddenly thought maybe I should fry an egg on it and- oh okay I woke up and it was just the comforter that was making me sweaty, no big deal.

Maybe that sounds really silly but these all seem like things that could have happened if the world ended... I have really bad social anxiety so maybe talking to a group of strangers about my plans for the end of the world could be the last meaningful thing I do, which is kind of pathetic but I doubt there are many people who have anything that interesting planned out to do when their time comes. So the fact that I have a silly plan is at least something.

A rather worrisome dream

A tiny bit about me. I am 18, and I’ve had a girlfriend of two years. She was nowhere to be found in this dream. She didn't cross my mind once in this dream.

It starts out in some department store. It most closely resembled Target. I was obviously looking around the store for anything that interested me, there was nothing unusual about that. I walk by furniture with a high up on display, and some bookshelves with kids' books on them. I'm here at this department store and it is crowded as all hell. And I'm here with a group of friends. But not my current group of friends, but rather many of my friends from middle school.

It’s getting pretty late, I want to say it looks like it's 9:30 PM, but the store is still really crowded.

I run in to my middle school crush (I never made a move. She was always really nice to me. We were friends. We even share the same birthday. I don’t see her as often anymore). She says that her allergies are making her nose run. So, I offer to take her out of the target, that is so unbelievably crowded, and walk her late at night next-door to a CVS. We purchased some allergy medicine for her, and start making our way back to the Target. I don’t remember if we talked that much.

On our walk back, she takes her allergy medicine, and throws the pill packaging into a trashcan. This is when she stops walking. So I stop walking and talking. then she takes a couple steps and stops again. As do I, with her. I noticed she is doing this because she noticed that a car has been following us (it is still late at night). When we walked forward, the car would inch forward. when we stopped, the car stopped. So, I put my arm around her waist, and walk a little more briskly towards the Target. We get to the automatic double door, and I put my hand around her shoulder and walk her inside. I’m hoping at this point, that I did the right thing and that she feels safe.

We're maybe 20 feet into the Target. She doesn’t look back, and she sprints into the clothes section. I say, “Hey wait!“ and I run after her, a little worried. but she’s too fast for me. So I keep running in the same direction I last saw her, until I get to the other side of the store. I didn’t really notice how big it was, until I started searching for her. I get to a little hallway that leads to the bathrooms. I run into another friend. she says she’s also searching for the same girl who ran off. So I ran to the next corner of the store. I ran by a guy on a MacBook, and I pull out the charging cord as I’m running past it. I say I’m sorry to him, and continue running. At this point the store has turned into a warehouse type department store, like Costco.

I have reached the next quarter of the store. worried about this girl, and really out of breath, I’m still sprinting, trying to find her. I ran down and aisle, and at the end of the aisle there is like one of those coal incinerators that is used to power steam engines. I sprint towards it with the intent of opening the door.

That’s when I wake up. I’m lying in bed, but I’m breathing like I just ran a marathon. This girl was just a middle school crush. And I’m in a happy relationship now. Weird dream, right?

TL;DR I had a dream where I was chasing my middle school crush through a store. I couldn’t find her and I was worried about her. And I woke up before I could find her.

What is the significance of my Shawn Mendes dream? Especially on my birthday!

The 25 August 2020 was my twenty fourth birthday.
I fell asleep at nine o’clock on the night of the twenty fifth of August.
While I slept, I had a dream where I was in a high school that looked like either an elementary school in my town (it’s a historically segregated school which still exists today, untouched since segregation), or my high school alma mater (since I graduated from high school six years ago).
A few of the students, one being myself, were standing in line.
Seconds later, I was discussing music with—who I now know was—the currently popular singer, Shawn Mendes.
He wore a white wife beater—I knew due to his shoulders being bare—and when we first spoke, his back faced my direction.
He turned around, and gave me eye contact, for the rest of our conversation.
I remember him smiling at me very frequently.
This is my only recollection of that dream, although I know several more things happened in the Shawn dream.

The only other thing I remember, is that after the Shawn dream, I dreamt—secondly—about the singer, Jessie Reyez.
It confuses me, as to why.

I was asleep from nine o’clock Post Meridian, on the twenty fifth, until three o’clock in the morning, on the twenty sixth of August.

What could it mean when you’re entire dream just consists of you crying hysterically?

It was easily the most depressing dream I’ve ever had. It seemed to of lasted forever. I cried hysterically the entire time, and I remember going up to the people I’m close to in real life and they all got weirded out and left. I just wanted someone to show me they cared and no one did. Now I’m waking up on my birthday feeling like absolute shit. Can anyone give me an explanation?
