Scary Murder Dream

I dreamed that there was a random man hiding from a. Bunch of people. He was hiding and jumping out and stabbing them. With a long knife that looked like a cheese knife, kinda. All were people I don’t know or recognize. Except for Channing Tatum. The man I mentioned first killed Channing Tatum. Well after he had killed all of them he went running for the door. Then the dream changed and it showed me walking out of a building that looked like a court house. It was really sunny and I was walking down a lot of stairs. My two daughters were waiting for me at the bottom and I was in a hurry to go. They had two puppies (we don’t actually have two puppies irl) and I was hurrying to buckle in my toddler. I was impatient with my 7y/o because she was messing around instead of hurrying to get in the pickup. The pickup was an older chevy. No one in my family or anyone I know personally drives this type of truck. Anyways we got in and left with a sense of urgency. My husband was never im this dream but I felt like he was there while aware that he was not PHYSICALLY present.

It really kinda shook me so im wondering what other people think 😳

Had a dream where everything was super serious and grim, but I washed my hands in pasta instead of water

I had this dream the other night that was super weird. It was in this kind of dystopian setting, and I was with a guy and a girl trying to infiltrate a fancy club of ruling class people. It went wrong, and we were trying to escape. We were desperately trying to keep our cover up but they had pretty much figured out we were rebels and were slowly backing us into a corner and questioning us. Something happened (my memory is super fuzzy) and one of them stabbed me with a drug that caused me to black out. It backfired though - it was (presumably) supposed to make me go into a frenzy and kill my friends, but instead it made me go absolutely apeshit on all of them instead. I woke up standing on the sidewalk just outside. The door was thrown open and I could see bloody remains inside and the guy and the girl just kinds looking at me. I asked him what happened and he recapped, and then I noticed that the room was full of more ruling class people. I went inside and they all looked at me. I had a mask on (for some reason? Idk when that happened) and they started remarking on how disfigured I was (in the fight, I got burned apparently) and that I was a monster. I didn't say anything and just left and walked down the sidewalk a ways.

And - I found this bathroom. Like it was just a door right on the sidewalk leading into a big building, but it was literally just a dingy bathroom. I go in and shut the door behind me. I rip off the mask and look at my disfigured face, which is actually fine and it just has some dirt and red splotches on it. I'm staring at my reflection (that was a bit weird, because I've never seen myself in a dream before) and feeling like *super* vividly emotionally distressed. I'm standing there contemplating morality and 'the horrors of war' but at the same time I just.....plunge my hands into a sink full of half-cooked pasta and start scrubbing. I remember thinking 'Pasta really does wonders for getting the blood of your enemies off of your skin' in complete seriousness. WTF??? I'm trying really fucking hard to not burst out laughing as I write this. I was just standing there basically thinking the whole '*Why are we still here? Just to suffer?'* speech as I scrub my hands in a sink full of half-cooked macaroni and cheese. I don't know, maybe it's not that funny, but I can't stop laughing whenever I think of it. What the fuck brain.

I have to tell you my bad dream so it doesn’t come true. (Morbid)

A dream is a wish your heart makes. If you tell someone a wish you’ve made, it won’t come true. Given these two oft repeated phrases, my childhood logic concluded that, well, if you tell someone a bad dream, it won’t come true.

I’m mildly superstitious and don’t take chances... so here I am, telling strangers on the internet my bad dream from last night to prevent it from coming true.

I was riding the bus traveling my childhood school bus route. The seats were the same ugly brown, faded windows half-down, and swelteringly hot. Adult me sat across from my adult brother, and who appeared to be with his young son (he doesnt have kids, but did in my dream.) I saw the boy’s face clearly; he wasnt quite the spitting image of my brother but undeniably his offspring. A few other adults accompanied us; it’s unclear exactly who, but they were very familiar to me (the aforementioned brother, his ex, my SO, and my other brother.)

We arrive at “home” (a house we lived in for half our childhoods.) My mom was asleep in another room, and with a sense of quiet urgency, the group from the bus pilfered through the fridge. No promising sustenance though...just some old hot dogs and sliced cheese. It wasn’t enough to prepare for the journey ahead.

Flash forward. We are in the backyard of the house, hurriedly gathered around an imminent fire. I dont know why we were doing what we were doing, or why it needed to happen so quickly. I remember the hushed rush and paranoia, looking down at my hands as I snapped some smallish bones, bundling them together in a pile. I “understood” (in my dream) that these bones belonged to family pets.

For whatever reason, it was for the best; the greater good.

What we were doing was better than the alternative. The alternative must have been unspeakable though, because what we were doing was horrendous. The fate we sought was best case scenario.

The last thing I remember was the start of the fire, surrounding what else lay in the pile: ever so still, a small silhouette in tightly wound burlap, shaped just like my brother’s son.

My heart was absolutely broken; torn.

But it was for the best.

Had a dream I invented a cocktail called the "Dino Pounder".

The dream started with myself and several anonymous friends sitting in a dimly lit bar. The place was fancy and had a grand oakwood bar. Most of the bar seemed to disappear into the shadows, but that didn't seem to bother myself or my friends.

The bartender was a skinny white dude in a black vest, dress pants, and a white bowtie. He was silent as he gestured to the various candies, bottles, and foodstuffs in jars along the wall.

The view changed as the bar changed into a YouTube video with text overlays and I was going to be the taste tester of a "fantastic new idea!". I then dictacted to the bartender the recipe for the "Dino Pounder".

Take a wine glass and wash it out.
Add one part vodka, 1 and 1/2 parts clear citrus soda, and a handful of gummy dinosaurs.
Pour into shaker with ice, like shake it a lot.
In the wine glass, put in a little ice and ginger.
Pour contents of shaker into glass, add a Pokemon card, Swiss cheese cube, and and another dinosaur gummy as garnish.

Text pops over describing the name of the drink and there is polite clapping.

Dream ended there. I woke up the next morning thinking where the hell all this came from.
