What are circus dreams about?

I had an amazing dream last night, but details are fleeting….. Now all I remember is when the dream turned south and I was attacked by a clown (kinda like IT). I was trapped in a circus tent and was fighting back, next thing I know the circus tent collapsed and the clown was on top of me, I felt helpless like it was about to devour my soul…. I couldn’t move and felt paralyzed, I could literally fell the tent wrapping me up and constricting me…. I finally was able to break free as I awoke, and realized that the “tent” was my blankets…. I’m open to interpretation if you’d like to give insight….

Many years ago i had a drem, very long and vivid, set in the 30s/40s, in wich a circus clown and a woman fell in love. But their love was somehow impossible, and even though they wanted to stay together she had to move to Paris, far distant from her lover. I don't think they ever got back again, but I know their love was everlasting.
Now, i really liked the idea and thought about it for long, feeling some kind of deep connection to it, and even considering writing a story about it to make it a little more real. But then something happened...I found a photo of a tattoo on Tumblr, wich I'll post here, that depicted almost the exact dream I had. The clown in the tattoo is some kind of pierrot, but the rest is eerely identical: the woman, the circus, Paris, the vintage clothing... That really creeped me out, and me being so strangely attached to this story, i wrote to the tattoo artist asking if he knew more about the idea behing the design or the woman who asked for it, but he nerver answered.
I since then searched everywhere for anything that could be related to a story like this, but i then again found nothing.
I created an account here because I know this is a place where mysteries can be solved, and I really need your help. Since this is my first time on Reddit I don't really know it this is the brst section to post this, but i have to start somewhere.
Could this be a tale, a poem, a movie or a story from a book i don't know of or something like that? Do you know the tattooed girl?
If you have any clues or tips please write them, anything may be crucial for me.

So about two years ago i had a dream that was almost the same, expect for two things. So it started with me and 2 others friends of mine, or character from a series, film or cartoon and these two characters were one of the two things that changed everynight. We were walking in a parade and suddenly everything gets black and we get teleported to my aunt's house. A slowed circus music starts playing and these two were like "RUN IT'S COMING" and started running. Just when they said i fell on the ground and couldn't get up. I tried to get away but then the door slammed and a villain (second thing that changed everynight) would enter. When he entered i finali got up and ran into my cousin's room. The thing would start searching for me while singing a song that went like (it was long but i can only remember this) "Roby Roby. Where are you hiding?" (It rhymed in my language) and while singing it was searching for me. Then as soon as he finished the song he found me. Then everything black. Then i woke up sweating and crying (i was ten when i had this) it went on for about a year. Until one night. It was the same thing again expect this time it was a lucid dream. The parade, void, aunt's house. Expect this time i could get up. I decided to go in the kitchen and as soon as i heard the door slammed i knew something was off it wasn't singing. So i decided to peek. It was a mass of the rats from coraline. They started to search for me without making a sound. Then they found me. I was already prepared to wake up but i didn't, yet i could feel them hurt me, their teeths into my flesh. Even if it was a dream it still hurt so i decided to Kick one of the rats out of the window and as soon as it falled all of them followed it. Then i woke up. Can anyone tell me the meaning of this dream (I never told anyone about this)

So yesterday I did not have a great day. I (20F) am currently living away from home (same state) for college but my only issue here is that I don’t really have a social life or any friends or a partner. So yesterday it was all hitting harder as some days it does. I was upset all day but I was able to still do a couple of things I had to get done but I did decide to end the day early so I went to bed earlier. It all just got way worse bc I had a nightmare. I don’t know exactly if I believe dream really mean something but sometimes it feels like they really do explain how I feel. So if anyone could maybe analyze my dream, I would really appreciate it. So my dream starts off with my mom & dad (divorced but on good terms) coming to some school event of mine (my age is not clear) & my mom insists she knows my grades are bad because she keeps getting Patagonia magazines & advertisements in the mail. We get into an argument on the way to the car & then I just can’t take it anymore & while we’re leaving the parking lot, I get out of the car, walk in front of them to get out of the parking lot, flip them off, & go sit against a wall (I thought it was the entrance to a public bathroom). Then a couple of gross men start talking to me as it gets darker & my parents left & never came back & I had no one to call so I get up & I see it wasn’t a public bathroom I was leaning on, it was a sort of “game”. I have nothing to do so I go in & I soon realized it’s a maze & it’s like circus clown themed. It’s not a regular maze though, it’s a staircase maze where there’s stairs going up& down & left & right. It was super scary looking but after finally getting through, the last part, where you can finally see employees, is this long slide-like tunnel you have to go through. The best I can describe it as is if you were going through a huge life sized ball of rubber bands. It wasn’t fun, it was tight, it hurt, & in the middle of it, there was a part where there was a type of slime that you had to get through but I was scared because I didn’t know how deep it was so I scooped it off & I was disqualified & sent back to the start where I woke up with extreme anxiety.

So basically from what I remember in the start of the dream I randomly got into a house and in there there was some people and the owner of the house (which I will call him owner ) I became friends with the people there and for some reason i thought everything was normal when the owner was literally so weird (idk how to explain the way he acted but it was weird).

Everything was fine until night came, I was with some people there on the backyard (I think it was the backyard ) for some reason when night started the owner's house looked so big it almost became a maze cause holy, ( and it was kinda funny how sometimes my POV would change to a third person puzzle game when I entered some rooms) and in the ''maze'' there was alot of weird stuff happening like there was a doll that looked that one from squid game but slightly smaller to fit the house
and it would simply follow us trying to kill us but when we looked at it it would walk slower so that was a advantage , there was another creature doll like that when we looked at it it would stop and it was really fast.

Anyways I somehow found the guest room and locked myself there until day came back everyone was desperate when day came we tried to get a plan to escape but the owner would always catch us and make us go back or punish us or something (I dont remember the punishments ) that cycle of night coming and we trying to escape repeated a few nights (from what I know some people died too on some of them) (oh yeah forgot to mention from what I remember when you got killed you would turn into a creature that looked like a dead space necromorph ), one day on the dream some new person came and it was the owner's wife most likely she looked like she wanted to help us escape, I didn't really trust her because I would always be watching her and her husband to see if there is any way to escape.

Until one night things changed the owner simply disappeared and the owner's wife said we had nothing to worry about?
So we decided to try to escape since the owner wasn't there anymore but this time the owner's wife
would catch us she was basically doing the same thing her husband did until one day she decided to leave to buy some stuff and I was like ''perfect chance to escape'' but then for some reason everyone else was at the park there was at the backyard playing around totally ignoring everything around them?? It was almost like they were brainwashed by something, I decided to tell them that we have the perfect chance to escape and they got mad and started running at me I decided to lock myself on the owner's wife room and try jumping out of the window but for some reason i started looking at the bed of the owner's wife and felt something weird almost like I was being brainwashed too or something and then my POV cuts to the other people they got out of the mind controll thing and for some reason the dude I was watching the pov of looked exactly like me almost like I had a clone or something lol.

When everyone got out of the control they decided to escape and they did but outside there was something weird that only I (the ''clone'' of me ig) noticed but brushed it off cause we finally escaped
and then when we came down the street there was some type of circus and buildings and there was each monsters and creatures we found and the owner's wife and the owner they were waiting ''for us''
until I decided to literally run over to the owner and punch him at his stomach when the rest of people
decided to run back to the house cause it was like the only way they could go and the dream ended with ''my clone'' punching the owner and the rest of people looking at the window seeing me sleeping on the owner's wife bed what
