I walked in on stray dogs doing it and they chased me

Hi I'm new here, I just got up upset this morning to an upsetting dream.

Since it is the monsoons here we have power cuts in my building, so here is the dream.

I came home in the late evening when everything was dark. The wing I stay in was also dark, since power cut so I used my phone flash light to look as I went up to my doorsteps. In the dream I also had my laptop open in my hand which I also used as a light source to look for the bell.

While ringing the bell I heard some grunting behind me, of dogs having sex. I shined my light to see up the stairs that lead to the first floor and I saw two dogs, one assuming female standing there and taking it. The male dog mounted on her and humping her.

As soon as I shone my light on them they got angry with me and got down the stair as if to attack me. Luckily my front door opened in time so I went inside and closed most of the door before I was attacked by them. Unfortunately the laptop which I set on the ground so that I could ring my door bell was left outside my door. I was afraid if I went to take it the dogs may bite me. Also when I looked outside the door 3 other dogs were there. So total 5 dogs. They were all barking at me like when dogs are in a fight that viciously barking. I was so upset I had to sacrifice my laptop that I got up.

Now about the 2 humping dogs, and later the other 3 dogs who came outside were all stray dogs who live outside my building in real life. The humping dogs are the ones who come first for the food I put down for them IRL. Usually the male waits back while the female eats first. From the other 3 dogs I seen in my dream one of them IRL actually stays in my building and is a very timid dog.

What does this dream mean? I was upset about leaving my laptop outside my house with 5 dogs barking aggressively at me 3 of whom I feed irl that it woke me up.

Dreamt about my ex 2 nights in a row

I have an ex named “Adam” who I haven’t had contact with for 3 years now. For context, I’m a gay man who moved across state lines to be with him so he would ‘t lose his apartment. I know he has a Reddit account, but if he sees this? Whatever. It’s over between us for 3 years and won’t happen again. However, two nights in a row I’ve dreamt about visiting Adam for an extended period of time in his state.

TL;DR I dreamt of this ex two nights in a row in a context where I felt off balance and insecure and on the defensive bc everyone there either knew him and was on his side or dismissed me outright simply because I’m “the ex”. What emotional vein is my brain trying to tap into?

The first night we were in a community theater play together (something I loved doing). He seemed to know everyone and they knew me, but I didn’t know any of them. They gossiped behind my back and within earshot. Even he did, but when I was around he was friendly to the point of being manic and loud and bombastic and it reminded me of part of why the attraction there was dead because he had no concept of time or place. He was so performative in all things. I remember him shouting “and I was the one who was assaulted” and knew he meant he had claimed I was guilty of sexual assault to these strangers I was only going to know for the period of the play. I don’t remember much about this one but the second one I woke up from just a few minutes

We were at some kind of family gathering with him (i think a wedding) in an overly large house. The layout was confusing and I don’t remember much of what happened there, but it felt more like a kickback. I remember running into someone that looked exactly like Julie from highschool but she brushed right by me as I said her name so I kept on moving. The scene changed after I took a nap in the house and woke up confused since it was so empty.

Adam’s brother “Jacob” told me what was up and we moved locals. I remember being panicked I couldn’t find the only person I knew there and remember asking someone who said “well don’t you remember the bike path to the school?” like I was an idiot or something. I remember feeling taken aback and telling her I didn’t grow up there in that MC Escher house, but was met with a dismissive “oh” as she walked away.

Part of the activities was making something with ceramic (something I love doing). There was a large group of people there and I remember the ceramic part taking place in a high school. There was a specific part of the dream that highlighted a project that a teacher there was currently working on where they got their hands on a completed ceramic work and made their own version of it. In my dream, the completed project looked like a picasso take on a woman with the upper half of her face increadibly detailed and the lower half white ceramic as well as the rest of her arms, torso, and ending at the waist in a rectangular box she was leaning over. I wanted to ask what the teacher planned to do with it, but the procession of people moved on too fast and I would have been lost if I didn’t keep up.

At one point, Adam’s current boyfriend (who is entirely fictional and I don’t know or care if he has one) appeared and he was from Bristol for some reason and was on a discord call with his friends who seemed to goad me at every move I made. I retrieved tools I had brought and half-finished slabs of clay with me, knowing they’d be ruined but just glad to have the tools I brought with me again. I felt judged for wanting them back, even when I left most of the tools in the same place bc they weren’t mine. I only wound up taking what I brought with me and still felt judged. Then we started a large hike in the rain and I complained about it, but one of adam’s friends piped up over the speaker-phone conversation that I don’t know about rain until I live in England. I asked him if he’s ever experienced a monsoon and then we argued a little. It took a little turn for the wierd when on of Adam’s boyfriend’s friends started getting white-nationalist on me, but I ignored it and we wound up back at the school. I woke up before any resolution was reached.

I have an ex named “Adam” who I haven’t had contact with for 3 years now. For context, I’m a gay man who moved across state lines to be with him so he would ‘t...

Super weird dream. Blatantly symbolic in some way. Feedback appreciated.

In the first act of the dream I am a disembodied observer, as though watching a documentary montage. A great flood or tsunami has engulfed the world. A "queen" or some such figure locks herself away in a bunker of some sort in order to escape the devastation. As the waters rise, however, innumerable tiny insects make their way into her bunker to escape the deluge. The insects engulf her and crawl into her bodily orifices, eating her alive from the inside out.

In the second act I am embodied as myself, some time after the flood. The world is a wreck, but there are people including some members of my family. I find myself in some sort of factory or warehouse like facility. I am in search of something important. A "monster" appears which is there to protect whatever I have come in search of. The monster is not "monsterous" in the sense of being ugly or deformed. It is much larger than a person, tho humanoid in appearance, and it seems like a sleek, pristine cyborg or android. I feel afraid bc I know that I can't hurt it and I know that it will try to kill me. A man appears who then transforms into a similar "monster" and the two fight. The "friendly" monster overcomes the malicious one and beats the creature into a pulp with its fists. Rather than leaving behind gore or broken mechanical parts however, the creature is reduced to a wad of silky, translucent white ribbons. The "friendly" monster then reverts back into a human and proceeds to tie these ribbons into a complex, geometric knot of some sort, all the while urging me to pay close attention; I will have to take the knot with me, and I need to ensure that the knot remains tied up properly, otherwise the creature could regenerate. I feel a heavy anxiety as I don't believe that I will be able to remember how the knot was tied, but I accept it anyway.

In the third act I am again embodied, tho this time not as myself. I'm not sure who I am at this stage. I am the third person in a single file line of 4 individuals. We are frantically making our way through a dense jungle or forest. The flood waters are coming again and we need to make our way to safety very quickly. The person behind me is a woman. She is pregnant and is begging us to slow down or give her time to rest. The 2 in front of me cannot hear her. I tell her that she has to try to keep up bc if we stop or slow down we will all die. I find myself torn between trying to keep the person in front of me in view (another woman) and ensuring that the woman behind me does not lose us either.

The waters begin to rise around our ankles, and snakes begin to appear everywhere (I dont have a phobia of snakes irl, btw). They are small snakes and they are likewise trying to escape the flood. I know for some reason that larger snakes will soon appear. And they do.

The four slow down to rest for a moment and begin to talk amongst themselves. I am now a disembodied, 3rd person viewer once again and I can't understand what they are saying to each other, though i know they are speaking English. I am now able to see the person whose body I was inhabiting prior; a young, thin woman with brown hair. The fourth person, who led the other 3 was a man. I couldnt make out any discernable features about him other than that he seemed somewhat older than me.

A gigantic anaconda approaches the thin young woman from behind without anyone noticing, and I am unable to intervene. It clearly intends to eat her. Then another snake appears, equally enormous. This snake however, is benevolent; it has a name and can speak English. It proceeds to swallow the other snake whole, saving the woman. The other snake is too strong however, and it breaks free, crawling out of the benevolent snake's mouth and escaping back into the jungle. The benevolent snake was injured as the other broke free; its jaw was torn.

I then inhabited the body of the man who led the group. I picked up the giant, injured snake and again began to lead the others through the jungle.

Then I woke up.... hot dam. What do yall think?

Dream i had about 3 years ago

To start off, the setting was extremely eerie. Like black and dark gray almost as if i was in a horror movie. It was thundering and raining outside and the only light source was the sudden flashes of light from lightning. I woke up in bed (in the dream) and wasnt tired at all, it felt really vivid. The door was wide open and right in the living room was one of my family members sliced in half. I could see the bones, guts, and organs very clearly and even crouched down to touch it. After feeling it for a moment, i heard screaming coming from the other side of the house (could have been my other family members) and did not go and check it out. I thought to myself, "na, they probably dead anyways, i might aswell escape". I ran outside the back door into my yard (and to describe the lighting again, it was almost like noir) turned the corner to run along the side of the house to get to the street. (keep in mind that i felt all the rain hitting my shoulders like i was in a monsoon) I turn around to look behind me and see nothing at all but my empty backyard and keep running, but when i looked forward again i seen what the figure was. If i was to describe it, it would most likely be the "Grim Reaper". He has a scythe and was wearing a hood over his head with no face, but darkness enveloping it. I slipped at the sight of him and landed on my back in the muddy grass. The last thing i seen was him leaning forward and swinging the scythe at my head, then i woke up.

I've done a dream analysis on this already, but id like to see what you guys think on this dream. If there are any questions, just ask and i will be sure to answer if i remember or if i was in a certain situation that could have triggered the dream.

And to clarify: no i did not watch any horror movies like that at the time. Definitely was not relating anything in the story. No games either relating to it.

Crocodile boarding a flooded bus

Me: F, Young adult, kind of outgoing

I get this dream like every 2-3 years when, in my opinion, I have grown/ changed some way as a person. I haven't had it in a while, but they first started in early secondary school and it's happened about 3 times now.

In my dream, I board a yellow bus, sometime with gumboots on (I don't own any tho), sometimes shoeless, tho most recently I can't remember what I wore. I'm in a rainforest during monsoon season and the bus is flooded with brown detritus water. I don't feel grossed out but I know I would have been in real life, and the atmosphere would have been a little too cold for me as well. Next, a crocodile boards and I'm less scared than I thought I would be. Like a crocodile has just boarded and I'm not scrambling for my life, which is what I though I would have done. I just kind of lite it go, like I'm aware of it, but I let it get to its spot and I stay in mine - everyone else is freaking tf out tho but once they ask me why Im not scared and I just say 'I'm not' they all seem to begrudgingly calm down.

Then I wake up.
