Reoccurring Dream
When I was around 6 or 7 years old, I would have this reoccurring dream/nightmare. The only thing I could ever remember about it was that I was standing in a field and at the end of the field in the horizon was a forest. To this day I can picture that field clearly. That's all I saw but as I'm standing there, something is coming at me from the tree line. The closer it gets, the faster it seems to be coming. At the moment whatever this is gets to me, I feel the rush of it and I would wake up terrified.
Now fast forward about 10 years, hadn't had the dream in since I was 7. We moved into a new home and at the end of the road past our house was a field. As soon as I stepped into that field, I knew it was the one from my dream. I'm 49 years old now and as I type this, I have goose bumps because just thinking about that field and that dream still gets to me. I would sometimes fish in the pond in that field or fly a kite there but never without an ominous feeling that something was there.
Anyone else every experience something like this?

40 year old recurring dream about a triangle faced clown on stilts from the 1800's that ends with me drowning.
So ok , I m not expecting much of a reaction from everyone but here goes. Everything I’m about to recount is as close to the exact way I experience it. For as long as I can remember ( mid 1970’s) I have been having the most intense, vivid and terrifying dream that to this day has never changed. As a little boy I grew up in Oregon and then moved to western Montana early and grew up their under the shadow of the Rockies near glacier national park. From a large family, I am the youngest of seven from a very happy loving child hood and normal circumstances. My very first recollection of this dream goes back as far as I can remember and I have a feeling it has been with me from when I was born. The dream starts and ends the same every time , and I have at least 2-4 times a month to this day. So how it starts out is I am laying in a large green field on the side of a hill near the water , possibly a lake or a pond. I notice that there are cattails and pure blue skies. There is almost a park like setting and it feels like it could possibly be in Northern California. As I look into the sky I see A flock of geese soaring peacefully by. My peaceful dream changes to pure terror as I look up and see a what can only be described as a 7-8 foot clown like being with a yellow triangle face and red eyes who is wearing a rainbow colored loose fitting robe and is on 3-4 foot high stilts looking at me from the top of the hill. As we make eye contact, The clown being grins and suddenly starts to walk fast and run towards towards me , while I sit frozen in terror. The rest of the dream consists over and over again of me trying to get up and run away. The dream always continues with me barely being able to get up and as I desperately try to escape, My legs, arms, breathing and time seems to be frozen . As I look back in fear the clown is gaining on me, and I’m helpless to stop it from coming close. As it comes closer I am able to see the details of its face and it’s clothes. and I don’t know why but I just get that feeling that it was a circus performing clown in the early American wild west days. It wears a Rainbow color pantaloons style shirt and pants. It seems that the clown is angry about something and I’m its next victim. This part of the dream it’s always the most intense and vivid and I find myself repeatedly staring at the most minute details of the clowns clothing and facial expressions and as time has gone on I find myself able to recognize and be familiar even with the rainbow color patterns of its clothes and the smears of its make up and it’s red burning eyes. So as I find myself frozen in fear the clown gets closer and closer and finally snatches me up by the back of my shirt and proceeds to carry me to the water while I am terrified beyond anything I have ever known in real life. I remember the hands on the clown as being cold and gray. The dream ends with the clown walking into the water with its hands around my neck while holding me and the last thing I can remember is looking up at his creepy smiling face while being pushed under the water and seeing it screaming silently at me.
The dream has been with me through childhood, college, the military, marriage and now, middle age. Because it’s so vivid and real , I am not sure if someone would understand this but it’s as if I can taste the dream and every gritty detail . I have long since given up on trying to understand it and just accepted it as part of my life.

Being checked out
I had a dream last night that I had gone out to eat with a friend and her family. We went in and a couple of guys where checking me out. After a bit I go outside for a few for some fresh air and to talk to the friend’s sister who had gone out to take her goose for a walk. 4 different guys sitting in different vehicles were checking me out too plus a whole suv full of guys. I go back in and even more guys are checking me out. I have been plus sized my whole life and never really attracted much attention from guys so in the dream I reacted how I would in real life, which was feeling super awkward. I haven’t noticed anyone checking me out lately, so I don’t think it’s just awkward feelings spilling over from real life. Anyone know what my brain is trying to tell me?

Breastfeeding a young Hawk dream
I had a dream of breastfeeding a young (not baby) Hawk. And then it flew away and I had a very bad feeling like I needed to call him back, I look outside and see a swirl of crows like a small tornado. They start to burn up from the inside. No flames, they just start turning red like coal. I call the Hawk to come for protection and a bunch of birds come at me. Humming birds, pigions, geese, parrots, every kind. They land on me, some try to hide in my hair, all looking for protection. I try to get them off me and get them in the house. I'm still looking for the hawk but I have to shut the door to protect the birds as they start to panic and they might get out. I shut the door... I wake up.
