I subconsciously saved myself from a horrible Lucid dream experience
I became lucid in a dream shortly after I realized that it didn't make sense for Ben Stiller and my coworker to be at my house for dinner, a random haunted castle-esqe house. The dream was very disturbing up until the lucid point (I'll spare the details) but once I recognized I was dreaming, it was more of a strangeness. I am not experienced in LD and so I tried simple things like jumping up to float and hover for awhile. Though that was fun for a moment, I began to lose control of the dream... Suddenly my coworker was grabbing at my legs and pulling me down from my floating hover.
I couldn't stop thinking (in the dream) about the duality of me trying to float, but also being pulled down by a dream character who is, in a way, also me.
Anyways, I was fully aware I was dreaming but for some reason ,these two dream men had control of the situation. They were ripping my clothes off and verbally humiliating me. I felt completely helpless, utterly disappointed that I was letting this happen to me, considering my awareness. I was desperate to get out of this dream
Finally I felt an otherworldly shaking, like from the waking world. I just knew my partner was trying to wake me up, maybe he could tell I was having a bad dream. I felt him shake and hug me and heard soft distant shouts that felt like "wake up".
I finally wake to realize he is sleeping soundly right next to me. It was me, I was shaking myself awake. I was lucid in the dream I was witnessing, but out of control. Yet on another level, I had actively tried to wake myself up and get me out of that horrible situation. It was amazing.
I wish I could explain this better.

I just had the most terrifying dream of my life. Someone please help.
Okay I literally just woke up and i’m panicking. I can give more details later if i remember but right now i’m a little unnerved. Someone please tell me if this has meaning.
There was a body in the front seat of my car and my partner and i got out to call the cops. Instead of cops showing up, a sports car with 4 men showed up and when i told them what happened they ran into the house only to die. Another police drove by and i flagged them down but they parked in my neighbors across the streets driveway and the old cop and the car turned into my neighbor and i was helpless. My partner and i walked back across the street to my house and i suggested maybe i could only see the things happening because i was schizophrenic when a middle aged lady with a cigarette said “but i can see you guys” and ran into my house. I chased her demanding answers and she said “they’re most prevalent in may” and disappeared and i kept screaming “you’re not welcome here” until my voice become not my own. i went back out to my car and there were more dead bodies in my car and a little girl on top of my car with bruises. i noticed my partner in the front passenger seat and they had puncture wounds everywhere. the little girl had a hammer and said she had to kill my partner and kept hitting my partners skull with it. i had to kill the little girl by using a pickaxe and swinging into her brain. Then i got the feeling the cops were going to frame me for every murder and woke up.

Was it just a dream?
When I moved into a new house, after my dad passed away, I felt sad being in the new house, just me and my mom living there... A few hours later, I decide to go to sleep, after all the boxes are finally emptied, and go to sleep... Later that night, I have this strange dream, these two people stood by my bed, and basically helped me experience Astral projection for the first time.
I was walking around the house slowly, and even passed by my mom's room, she was sleeping... I eventually became scared and walked back to my room, and somehow reentered my body, the people by my bed were visibly angry, and proceeded to force me back out, since time for a sinister purpose.
I eventually got them to leave, and woke up in my dark room, crying over being helpless that night, since then, nothing like that has happened...
So my question is... did I really Astral project?, when I woke up, it didn't feel like I woke up, if that makes sense. 🤔
