Home Invasion
This was last night’s dream. For context, I’m a 25 year old white female.
I was with my co-workers at an indoor water park. We were standing in a pool near a tunnel and my soon-to-be manager came up to me corrected me in front of my coworkers for having my phone out. (For additional context, I’m a Personal Banker and work with 5 other people. We are having a new manager start in a couple days and I’m very nervous about it. He is not relaxed in the slightest which is what it used to be like here).
Back to the dream, one of my best friends, Emily, (who lives states away but is coming to visit this evening for NYE), showed up and so we left the water park together.
In the next part of my dream, I’m laying in bed and am awakened by footsteps coming up the stairs. I wake my husband up (in my dream) and he grabs the baseball bat we keep under the bed and goes to check it out. He comes back and says “someone is sitting in my car again” and apparently tells me and the kids to run and hide. (I have two stepchildren. Our boy is 7 and our girl is 5). At this point our house becomes really big and more updated looking. We run through a foyer and I see the intruder coming down a large, open staircase. He’s an Asian man, probably in his 30s, average/chubby build, and he’s carrying a knife with a round blade of some kind. He chases the kids and me. The kids and I made it to a large bathroom and the man was trying to tear through the door with the blade (like in The Shining). I’m desperately trying to get the kids to be quiet but they keep coughing, sneezing and they don’t understand that we’re in SERIOUS danger. Then I remember running to a room with a ton of huge washers and dryers and getting in a washing machine. I realized we wouldn’t have anywhere to run if found. I heard the invader coming close and I started getting out of the machine. Then I woke up.
What the hell kind of dream is this? What does it mean?

A dream I just had spoiled a book that I'm not even sure exists. And now I really want to read that book.
It was a pretty standard dream. Went to an Inn for some reason, went to check out the book shelf for some other reason, and I found a book I liked. I decided to read it and I really want to read it in real life, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't even exist.
The book was about this family of foxes living on an old farmhouse. There was like, seven of them I think. One mother and 6 kids. They couldn't walk upright. It was clearly a children's book, and it was a long running series, like Little house on the Prairie. It wasn't like picture book happy ending everybody is good children's book, it was like if you took Harry Potter and dumbed it down a little so that it could be a 3rd grader's bedtime story. The book was about the size of the first Harry Potter book, and as tall as a copy of 1984. I probably got alot of things wrong if the book is real, so if it is it's probably just a series about a family of foxes.
I woke up after it was explained that they all lived on a farmhouse, and that some mean old banker man wanted them out. I really want to read this series of books. But a really big part of me feels like it was just a dream thing and they don't exist, and I'm already sad about it. If anybody could tell me the name of this probably not real series I'd appreciate it.

Becoming a bear shifter
Becoming a bear shifter
So I have had this dream before. In the beginning I am nothing but a slave girl. I then find out I’m mated to two powerful male bear shifters. Twins to be exact. We fall in love with each other since we are mates. Also I find out too that I am also a bear shifter. Cut to a few years later and me and one of my mates are sent off to a south eastern region to find something important. It’s never stated what or why but we know something big will happen. This is where I find out the place we are looking for is the temple of the goddess of death. Before we get to the temple I lay down and have a dream.
There the goddess comes to me and explains that I am her daughter and must do some sort of ritual to activate the godly parts of me. We get to the temple and find it buried under water. Apparently I am a water bender and am able to remove the water. Later on my mate who traveled with me ends up getting into a whole civil war type fight at the temple. Well the war ends with me getting struck down and bleeding out. This stops the fighting and my mate takes me in his arms and carries me away. I get taken to this medical center and recover well. Well before I woke back up I had apparently died. When my blood spilled on the temple floor that was all that was needed to active the godly side of me.
So here is where I find out that indeed I am a bear shifter and a godly shifter too. So we head back to my mates territory only to find out that the bank has taken the land back due to some missed payments. So we head to the bank to pay the amount due. While there I uncontrollably shift into a bother form. This time is my god form. I do remember becoming a third person and viewing what I became. I became a humanoid figure with four arms and a wide swollen jaw. I looked very zombie like. In this state I have trouble controlling what I do.
I fight to shift back to my normal self. Every time this happens tho a little bit of my humanity leaves. So my mom, the goddess of death, informs me that this form is a pet of me and if I keep fighting it from surfacing then I will become something totally different and destructive. The banker man saw all of this and I get a flash forward to his collection of Demi gods who he kidnapped and baisically caged them in his own collection. We finally leave with my mate and head home. Well that banker dude now makes it his life’s mission to capture me and mind control me. He actually does succeed in capturing me by giving my mates false hope that he can “fix” what is wrong with me.
I soon get trapped in his own school and try to escape but to no avail. My mates come to visit me at some point and we run around in our bear forms. Soon the banker man appears and says I must enjoy my last day with them because I won’t ever see them again since he will add me to my collection. Not wanting this to happen I frantically run to my mates howling for their attention. We are separated by literall barriers and cages. They notice my distres and try to save me. But I end up tranquilized by the banker man. My mates see this but are helpless to do anything.
I am taken to his zoo and the banker man tries to break my spirit. It nearly works until my mates rescue me. This is where the dream ends. I should note I feel like I’ve had this dream before. The only difference being the type of animal shifter I become.

Feeling invincible -- friend brings me back to reality
The dream started with me standing on a billboard. The billboard was super high up in the sky. It was late, the middle of the night. All you could make out was the night sky and the dots of lights on the ground.
Me and one of my friends was there. We both have the same career interest – finance. We are not close, we are casual friends. There are some mixed feelings, perhaps a bit of jealousy there because while we both go to the same university, he is in a more prestigious program and has an arguably better chance of getting a lucrative job. However, we are still friends and we get along.
We were talking about our career interests, he had a laptop out and was showing me a list of banks he was going to apply to. We were both wearing the uniform of a banker/wall street type, like business casual.
We ended our conversation, and I turned away. I wanted to leave the billboard and go home, and after some thought, I prepared to jump off. Even though I was high enough to where I would have surely died, I felt invincible. I was so prepared to jump, but before jumping, I turned and asked “hey, how do we get off here? Do we just jump?” and he said “No, are you crazy, you’ll die.”
He gave me a harness for a bungee jumper so that we could get down safely. I harnessed myself and jumped.
After I jumped, the scenery changed. I was in a house, a mansion and everything was gold. It was a faded gold color, like oxidized. Me and him were now fully dressed up in suits. There was a door, and older people were coming in, they were the parents of some of our friends. I shook all of their hands. I was a bit nervous and wanted to be professional, but I felt I made a good impression. The dream then ended.

I just dreamed that i die and i fell how is it
hello everyone, i'm just here to briefly talk about a dream (or nightmare) i have today before waking up.
well let's start, there was me and 2 other people that i have no idea who they are, and we were walking through a kind of desert. apparently I didn't have much information about this world, except there were people in a banker and it was kind of a post apocalyptic world with some people.
walking along this road, we found a place, a kind of school with a glass door, a guy (let's call him dude 1) thought a lot and then broke the glass to get through (even though he made a lot of noise, so far I didn't know what could be in there, but I figured there might be other people wanting to rob us or something).
right then we entered, going straight there was a corridor to the right and left, and in front of a wall with several doors/rooms. we decided to go left for some reason. We also had lighting, I don't remember if it was a flashlight or a lantern, but the light didn't illuminate almost anything (especially in the hallway on the right which is where we didn't go). we then arrived near the end of the left corridor. everyone stopped and faced the opposite corridor, aimed the light, and waited watching, trying to pay attention as if some noise was coming from the darkness at the end of the corridor.

I didn't know what was happening, nor what could be

then everyone despaired and ran to open the door at the end of the corridor on the left.

we entered the room, it was like a school room, but without windows, abandoned, with just a few tables and maybe a blackboard. there was a lot of dust.
as soon as we entered, we locked the door, but a crack was still open, and I COULD HAVE GO UP THERE AND CLOSED THE DOOR, but the other 2 were closer and I decided not to do anything about it thinking they would close the door.
the creature came towards me, threw the number 2 a meter away causing it to fall into the corner of the room without being able to react or help me, and then it came towards me. held me, couldn't move.

this creature started screaming louder and louder, so loud, that person number 1 who was there by the door on the other side of the room was paralyzed in panic at the loud sound.

me trying to break free or trying to attack the creature, without success.

that's when the creature bit my head, the left side above my eyes.

right then i was dead, i felt nothing, absolutely nothing, it was just the void, the void, the emptiness. I can't describe it, and you probably won't take it seriously, but it really was like dying.

right then, I woke up, I don't know how long I was "dead" (even because I had no concept of time) and I realized I was dreaming.

I woke up very stunned, thinking I was still dead, or about to die.
and of course my head hurts, right where the creature bit it.
so far i'm literally traumatized, is that death? just the unexpected emptiness of the abyss?
please, does anyone know if it is technically possible to experience death. maybe your body or your brain thinking you really are dead after a very real dream?
