Intense eye-contact in dream with a girl I used to know

There's a girl I used to speak to who I liked very much and she felt similar. Though for a reason I'll explain soon we knew we could never be together. I still think of her often, but she seems to be on my mind now a lot more now that I'm home from university and I know she's close by in my home town. I think of her a lot lately, everyday if you want the truth. Though I don't think she thinks of me as much as I her.

I had a dream in which we sat on a park bench table, her on one side, me on the other. There were lots of people around, the bench/table was full. Her ex-boyfriend and who is also my old friend sat next to me. I tried to avoid looking at her throughout the whole dream and she seemed to also be avoiding looking at me, though I caught her glance a few times. Then I saw her outright staring at me. It was crazy. I gave up attempting not to look at her and looked back up and I see she's staring at me like no-one's ever stared at me before. The most intense stare I've ever seen. I couldn't decipher her expression. I don't know if it was sympathy for the hard times she knew I went through, whether it was a look of longing for me, whether it was the look when you get when someone wants to fuck you. It was just an expression of pure intense emotion like I'd never seen before. I dreamt this about a week ago and can't stop thinking about it. I can't describe it properly with words. It was crazy. and it's been on my mind a hell of a lot.

After that, a huge crowd of people who she knows and people I don't like took me away. One guy grabbed me by the arm real hard and took me away across the field to somewhere. That's all I remember.

There's no point me talking to her because whatever we had is gone, it's a lost cause and I know she won't feel the same now. Maybe it's just a dream and means nothing. But I just can't stop thinking about that stare. It felt too real.

What do you think?

Dream Interpretation: Accidentally murdering two orphans in my sleep during a disability flare up.

I have an undiagnosed disability that causes outbursts. Now I can control them to some extent, but I've hurt people, even those I've loved dearly during them.

I was lost in somewhere based on my childhood home (where I was living with my abusive dad, was bullied and excluded from neighbors' kids and discriminated for because it's in a rich neighborhood). I exclusively searched for a small shop that sells bags (it was named something really generic but I don't remember the name). A teenage orphan was operating it, but I'll learn later that he has no parents.

Timeskip. The guy is now walking me condescendingly and trying to search my parents with me. I feel so ashamed and infatuated and my disability flares up, like it does IRL with bulit up stress. (Think Mob Psycho 100)

Timeskip again. I hurt the guy and another minor. My mom assisted them to the hospital but they died there since they don't have parents (most likely because medical treatment requires parental consent). My mom is very pissed. I yell at her "You only care about to those poor kids!" and plan to suicide out of guilt, despite being very afraid. I think that my victims did not want to die either and were also afraid o convince myself to suicide.

I wake up before suiciding. The dream feels very real so I ask my mom if I ever killed someone in the morning.

How I finally beat the "being chased" dream

Like many people I had the recurring dream of being chased by a dark figure, it was a shadow in a trench coat, no facial features just shadow. I began having the dream when I was in elementary school and had it until just less than a year ago. It always went the same, I was running through my house, or my high school or my hometown and he was always right behind, the dream would either end with me falling off a building or bridge or him getting right up to me and reaching out with a shadowy claw and me waking up screaming.

Well I reached a low point in my life, had broken up with my girlfriend and just had a lot going on at work and school. I was fed up with life in general (NOT suicidal, just to the point I had very few "F's" left to give). Had an especially bad day and went to bed, the "dark figure" dream started, but instead of being terrified as I always had been before, I just got fighting mad. I was done with it! If he was going to kill me then so be it, but I was going to give him one hell of a fight! I remembering turning toward him and charging full bore right into him, all fear was gone there was only utter rage, I wanted to rip him limb from limb. I had the general dream sensation of wrestling around...and realized I wasn't hurting him....but he wasn't hurting me either, he was slashing me with shadowy claws but I felt absolutely no pain. Then I remember staring him right in the shadowy void that should have been his face and just laughing, laughing harder than I had ever laughed. I woke up laughing so hard tears were streaming down my face. But the thing is I felt much better. Not only about the dream but life in general, my mood had improved a hundred fold. I felt ready to take on the world!

After that the dark figure made a several more appearances, but the terror was gone, I might feel a tinge of fear when he first appeared, but I would quickly get over it and stand my ground and think "you ready for round 2 buddy? I know you can't do a damn thing to me" and he would fade away.

Dream of giant vultures

Had a dream last night that I was dog sitting for my very recent ex’s sister (who I am also good friends with) at her place which was like a little bungalow with huge windows that looked like it was located in a cross between the neighborhood of Los Angeles she lives in now and Nashville which is her hometown and I was taking care of her small dog and her grayish brown tabby cat and a little brown dog that belonged to her neighbors. I was sad in the dream and doing the isolation thing I tend to do when I am going through really hard times (which is how I am feeling currently with the break up) and kinda moping around and then her dog and the other dog started acting weird and barking outside, so I brought them in and then I heard weird sounds all over the house and this giant dinosaur sized vulture I was set up in front of the windows trying to look in but not seeming to be able to figure it out as if scoping out for food. The dogs somehow closed the curtains in the house so they wouldn’t see us and all these smaller, but still large vultures started attacking the house and trying to get in and me and the animals all hid out and waited. Eventually, they went away, but it was very unsettling. Anyone have any insight on what it could mean?

American Mafia, prostitution , drug overdoses, shootings, killings and saving 2 random kids.

Context, I’m a 25 year old Irish girl with no kids, long term happy relationship still living in a good working class family home but worked my ass off & just bought my first home.

I had a dream last night, I have a dream book and google and still haven’t been able to place it but it woke me up at 6am and I haven’t stopped thinking about it all day.

I had this dream I lived in America it was a big city but the outskirts where very run down, broken footpaths, weeds, dusty and unloved. I was a waitress & I was walking home with my female friend from work at dusk, the sky was a lovely purple when all I can describe is the American maffia a fat bloke and skinny one screeched the car over and put us in at gunpoint.

We’re in the back of the car & the mafia men start telling my friend how she needs to go and sell herself as she owes them a lot of money, she has already been doing it and making them a lot of money, I’m shocked as I didn’t realise, and then the start to force me into it at gun point. We get to the outskirts of the city & I recognise a block of flats and some how kick the door open and bolt though this dusty half grassy area.

I bolt up these stairs I know someone on the top floor, it’s my friends flat! I bust in the flat is bare concrete walls with peeling wall paper there’s a hole in the roof leaking water and weeds growing. I can still see that pink purple sky. I take a deep breath and I go into her room to find her husband dead with a heroin overdose and I freak and kinda move him to the corner and cover him with a sheet, I hear gun shots out the window and my friend has managed to escape the car and running towards the block of flats. I hear gunshots in the alleyway and I go into another bedroom.

This bedroom is perfect, it’s snuggly 2 beds with 2 young girls in bed in jammies watching videos (on a wee old grey TV with built in video player me and my sister had the exact same one in the 90s this is the only recognisable thing in this dream) I hear the front door of the flat burst open and my friend scream and bullets. I hear a thud, she’s dead, I open the window and pull myself up on the roof, I help pull the young girls up and push the window closed with my foot. There’s painter sheets in the roof and a helicopter around we hide under these sheets so as the helicopter doesn’t see us and hear the men leaving. I am on this roof thinking how I will have to adopt these 2 girls and make sure they do well in life.

- none of these people in my dream were recognisable
- I’m very against the idea of having kids but when I woke up I was terrified I had left these girls and wanted to go back into the dream and save them.

Yea? I don’t even know what bit means the most or where I should start picking it apart?
