I cried, it was so freaking horrifying.
⚠️Warning: this may freak you out, so just prepare yourself if you are one to be scared easily. ⚠️
My nightmare was set up in the country. Not much people, not much drama. I was kidnapped and taken to this house where there was nothing but grass for miles. No trees, or animals, or anything. Just grass. With a decently small house plopped mid-center. When I was walked into the house, there was an around 30 year old male in the dining room, praying. But it wasn’t like a normal pray like you would imagine it to be. He was praying to the people that had died in that house. He was afraid they might do something to him “again.” The dining room was to the left. The bathroom was no more than four feet in front of the front entrance. And the living room was to the right. Very small, comfy, country house-like building. There was also a women in the living room just relaxing on the couch. She was staring at the tv, of course my dream wasn’t that detailed so I don’t know what was on, but I know she was watching it. The kidnappers sat me down on the couch next to her. I didn’t say anything, I didn’t do anything. I just sat there, watching the tv with her. It was one of those houses where you could just *feel* the spirits that were haunting it. It was terrible. Anyways, then, I had to use the restroom. It was incredibly small. You took one step in and to the right was the toilet and left was the sink. That’s it. You had room to stand between the two and nothing more. There were mirrors above both the toilet and the sink. So, I did what I need to do and sat down. I had my palms against my forehead. And suddenly *EVERYTHING* turns absolutely pitch black. Silent and I could feel the pounding of my heart in the dream and in real life. Blood is not dripping from every crack and corner of the ceiling. It was gory as crap. Then, pale arms and hands with the brightest red nail polish I’ve ever seen start to grasp my knees. I hear “You’ll find us where you least expect it” in a whispering, faint, women’s voice. No one was talking to me, I didn’t see any faces; it was as if there were a speaker in the bathroom. Then, I woke up. I immediately went to the bathroom. Somehow wasn’t freaked out by that, but I could NOT look into the mirror. I poured my eyes out. It was, jeez. Don’t have a word for that.
Thank you for reading. Feel free to share any alike experiences :)

Similar dream for 5 years straight.
Its been 5 years and I haven't spoken to anyone of this and have been trying to ignore it. But I am new to reddit and looked up if a subbreddit like this exists, so here I am!
Whenever I dream, the dream is always follows the same pattern, sharing similar themes, but different settings:-
1. It starts out mundane, in an everyday-life-kind of scenario.
2. However it soon devolves into a life or death situation- I have to escape from a killer who specifically wants to kill me, I have to hunt down someone, I have to hunt down the person who wanted to kill me, or a battle royale. This part often incorporates settings from the various books and novels I read.
3. Most of the time I prevail, immensely confident in my abilities. But at the end, just before I am about to finish it, I find myself weak and unable to deal the finishing blow.
4. Towards the end of the dream, the reason for my fighting is revealed. Its a woman. I have to save her, I have to win her affection, I have to leave her, all varied reasons.
5. I never quite remember what she looks like, but she is familiar. She makes me feel so peaceful, so warm, so happy that it hurts.
6. From here on, there are two endings
7. (Ending-1)I reach her. I am so happy, so very happy, but I suddenly realize its a dream...everything uptil now was. This realisation is accompanied by a heart rendingly profound sense of loss that accompanies me throughout the day after I wake up. When I realise its a dream, everything starts slipping through like sand between my fingers, but I would give anything, any price to not wake up again.
These are the days I wake up crying.
8. (Ending-2) I reach her. There is a very real sound of a gun cocking behind my head and the feel of cold metal pressing against it, and then such peace, I wish it would last forever.
These are the days I wake up feeling so well rested and ready to tackle the day. And even till today, in tense situations or when I am stressed, I have developed a habit of imagining the cool metal against the back of my head and it calms me down.
To anyone who read this far, I would sincerely like your opinion. Thank you in advance.

Dreamt that the guy I’m seeing had rotten teeth
I have been seeing this guy for about a month, and we’ve been spending a lot of time together. Thing is, we started off as friends and then ended up hooking up. Says he doesn’t think he’s able to be in a relationship. This past week he was at my place twice in a week. Hooked up, next night he stayed over. I had a dream that I turned over in bed and he was asleep with his mouth kind of open. I looked and saw that his top teeth were rotten - like black. About to fall apart, mostly missing already. I rubbed my eyes, looked away and looked back thinking I was just imagining things. When I looked back, they were still like that.
Anyone here that could give me some insight on what this could mean? I mentioned some details of our situation in case that would be helpful.
It’s been stressing me out because I’m at the point where I’m not sure if it was a dream or not.

false awakening / "don't worry, you're just in a trance"
This happened in January, but I wrote it down as soon as I woke up and I feel that I remember it quite well.
It started as a regular dream, which was quite vague and undefined. I was with friends at a Halloween themed party, and there was something to do with canal boats (I live near a canal). Totally usual dream stuff.
Then I was suddenly on a familiar street, and I saw a man in a suit, a trench coat, and a fedora. He said "you should come with me now." and I think he held out his hand.
As soon as he said that, I "woke up". He was kneeling or sitting on the floor next to my bed and he was talking to me. I can't remember exactly what he said cause at this point everything felt so vague. It was something along the lines of "don't worry, you're just in a trance", and he said something about computers. He said some more things, but I can't remember what. His voice was very calm. The feeling was so strange, I don't know what to compare it to. I imagine it was like being very drunk, except I don't drink so I can't be certain on the accuracy of that comparison.
Anyone experienced anything similar?

I had the most disturbing dream of my life
My childhood cat died very suddenly two weeks ago. She choked due to water in her lungs. We couldn't save her. I remember driving home after my brother called with the intention of saving her, that she wasn't really dead. Her death really messed with me. Words can't express how much I loved her and I can't stop imagining her choking. This dream is very, very disturbing.
Today I took a nap. I woke up after the most disturbing dream of my entire life. I was sitting on the couch and realized my cat's body was next to me, at the exact spot she used to sleep all the time. Not only that, there was two of her. Someone picked one of the two up and took it out of sight. I asked my mom what it was doing there. She told me she took her out of the freezer (we are keeping her body until we can bury it since it's winter) because she missed her too much. My cat then started moving slightly. She started choking. I tried to save her. I started blowing in her mouth to clear her throat and doing the Heimlich method on her. However her body kept slipping out of my hands and falling in weird positions on the couch. She finally stopped choking. She had died again. I called 911 to ask them to come over and make sure she was dead. While I was waiting my whole family started chasing me with knives; even my disabled brother who cannot run and my very old grandma. They pushed me to the ground and started trying to stab me while laughing. I managed to get up and answer the door: the ambulance was here. Two men in a red suit were there. They were the chiefs of ambulances or whatever. They looked at my cat and confirmed she was very, very dead and that her moving was a response from her dead body the the stimuli around her. I thanked them and escorted them to the door. When I came back to the living room my cat was laying the exact same way as she is laying in the picture of her I have on my desk in my dorms. What's really freaking weird to me is that it was only her skeleton, which I found cute in my dream? Then her skeleton started shrinking and I woke up.
I called my mom and started crying while telling her about it. I still feel very weird and needed a place to share.
