I had a super vivid dream last night. Can anyone tell me what they think it might mean?

So I run into Joey Votto (random, I know) and he is giving himself a tattoo and he tells me a story. He says, "I'm giving myself a new tattoo today" and he draws this super vivid beetle on his forearm. He says, " do you know why?" I say, "no". He says, "beetles are the most confident creatures in the world, only 10 percent of them make it to (some destination) but it never deters their confidence. This is a representation of me and my life." As he was telling the story, the scene went from him drawing the beetle on his arm, to that Beetle coming alive and several others (hundreds) coming at me. But it was just super weird how there was such a strong focus on the beetles and how vivid it felt! Thank you!

What was a particularly unique dream that you’ve had that you still remember to this day?

For me, I had a nightmare recently, probably back in December, that was inspired by Lovecraft’s stories, for it had the image of a monster in it that reminded me of his works. It was probably something like the Shoggoth, with flashes of probably other Lovecraftian creatures I don’t recall, with the scream of a person who is falling into insanity! I’ll be honest, the dream itself made me afraid that I was going mad myself!

I think I went to real afterlife place in my dream

When I was a child about 25 years ago I had this dream. That time I had no knowledge of afterlife, death etc.

So in this dream I was standing in this vast flat ground which had I think brown sand bordered by a rocky hill and on the other side was a huge calm river. There was a looong line of people starting beyond the rocky hill and till the river. For a brief moment I walked by the line and saw people's faces. They did not see me, they did not have any expression in their faces and stood in a droopy stance but I could sense some sadness. I don't think the line was moving very quickly. On the river, a single boat was taking one person each time across.

Near the line I saw a gazebo. Some beings took me there. I was not afraid of them because they looked like masked people (from the mask dance at monasteries, you can google mask dance of Sikkim to know what the beings looked like). They all were doing silly things and I was laughing my heart out which made them very happy. Until one tall being with a "Heman" like hair cut was shaking his head in a funny way while I was laughing and I noticed is stick like torso. At that moment I realised that these were not mask men but real creatures and that scared me to wake.

Demon in Dream

This dream I had was about a year or two ago (so 15 or 16F), and it still creeps me out sometimes. I tried to find where I had written it all down but I can't find anything about it now. Everything has vanished about it. Some details might be fuzzy, but any insights into what this could mean would be helpful.

I had woken up one random night at about 2:30 am. When I felt myself drifting off, I got a feeling of pure dread. I called out to my mom before I passed out. When I "awoke", I was in a red room. It resembled a hotel room almost. The walls were a bright red along with the comforter on the bed. There was a stuffed goat head mounted above the bed, and a book on the nightstand. The book was bound in what looked like pieces of human flesh, in a language I couldn't understand. I still flipped through it though. I was sitting on the bed and I looked up and saw a creature of a sort sitting on the table at the end of the bed. It looked similar to a cuddle fish, or maybe a cat? I can't remember. It spoke to me in a deep, grumbled voice during which I just thought to myself, "I wanna go back home." It boomed "We're not done with you yet" (Or something to that extent) and after it did, tentacles shot out from its mouth area and latched onto my right arm. I felt a burning sensation throughout my entire body moving out from the arm. When I woke up back in my normal room, it was 3:33 am.

Need Answers

So, I just had this dream. I have no clue what the hell it means. If I need to give backstory I will.

This is the dream. My girlfriend and I are mercenaries for the US government. We are world renowned and all of US loves us. They call us Bonnie and Clyde. It’s great. One day she tragically dies on a job. No one knows but my boss and me. So we are famous and a TV show calls him to join. He asks me to send a picture of me smiling so he knows I’m getting paid well (as a joke of course). So instead I send a picture of my girl and I. Then the crowd of the audience goes silent. My boss (on the show) finally tells the world about her. Everyone is depressed. Then I send another picture. It’s a picture of the scars on my wrist that I made because of her passing. The caption of the pic says “What is valor, if there’s no one to share it with”. Time goes by and my boss calls me for one last job. I take it. I’m to impersonate a bad guy to get info at a bad guy headquarters. I go and the bad guys pat me down. As I’m walking to his door I see these pyramids next to me. Two to be exact. Really big. I look up at them and the sun shines from behind them. I get a headache and fall to the floor. My vision changes from red to grey, then red to grey again and again. I can hear my heartbeat and feel it shaking the earth. Then my heartbeat and vision stop being weird lol. A shadow rises from behind the pyramids and it’s a Pegasus. It swoops down in front of my vision and shortly disappears out of my sight completely. A skeletal creature was riding it. Then I wake up in my room but everything is grey. I realize it’s a dream so I start telling myself to wake up. Over and over again. It doesn’t work. So I hold my breath for 30 seconds. Then I actually wake up, gasping for air. That’s my dream.

So, I just had this dream. I have no clue what the hell it means. If I need to give backstory I will.
