I think I had a vision

I had a powerful dream last night ... or rather early this morning (right after Halloween).

I was tossing and turning in bed, vexed by my life in flux (getting separated after a long marriage, new place, quickly expanding role at work, upcoming trip to see my mom, child entering adolescence, and a very unexpected and very profound new romantic interest).

At some point, I felt a presence in my room, moving from the left side of my bed around the foot of my bed to the right.

At first I thought it could have been my rather large cat, but as it got closer, I could hear it's furry mass pushing past furniture in a way my cat does not. I realized it was much bigger than a house cat. I could hear it breathing and soon felt a large, wet nose on my arm nudging me gently ... and again. I thought at first that a German Shepherd or a Mastiff had somehow managed to sneak into my room, and I was frankly terrified to think of how it got there.

Before I could (or before I was brave enough to) get the pillow off my eyes, I felt two massive paws push at the mattress beside me, shaking the bed (and me), as one might to wake another. As I stirred to see the animal, I dropped my fear. It didn't feel like it was coming for me. It was much more like when a parent has to wake a child for an early morning trip or a compassionate friend waking a loved one who had too much to drink the night before.

It was a Grizzly (?) Bear, taller than me, taking up the whole space beside my bed, silently and patiently awakening me. I looked into her eyes long enough to see I had nothing to be afraid of, but my heart still pounded in my chest.

I didn't scream. The bear didn't growl. I just woke up (in real life).

Normally I'd think a bear in this situation is telling me to rest and spend time in introspection, except she was doing the opposite, waking me up!

Anyone have a thought?

Visited what I believe was the “other side” when I was seriously considering suicide. Saw recent suicides getting processed, argued about not wanting to continue living, then got kicked out for still...

This was a lucid dream from 2 years ago when I came VERY close to suicide. I’m archiving it here for memories sake. TL/DR at the bottom.

I was having a typical non-lucid dream, and out of nowhere my vision went completely white. A few seconds later I was (now in a lucid dream state) standing in a street in front of a grey brick building. There was a group of people walking in the door, so I followed them in. Inside was a classroom like environment with a large blank screen at the front of the room. It wasn’t spoken, but I just knew these were all people who had taken their own lives.

Everyone sat down at the individual desks filling the room. Everyone looked very sad, most looking down at their feet. Some talked quietly to each other, but I couldn’t understand them. I sat down next to a 20-something girl and looked around the room. After a moment she asked me “So why did you do it?” I responded with “Oh I’m still alive, I’m just able to come here”.

Every person in the room went silent and looked at me with shocked expressions. After getting stared at for a few seconds, I was instantly teleported outside of room and back out into the street where I arrived. This time a giant 7ft tall bald guy was standing in front of the door. He refused to let me back inside, but let everyone else in who approached him.

About this time, a guy walked by me in the street and I asked him “What is this place?” He said something along the lines of “It’s where they (suicides) come to see where their life went wrong, and how their life played out if they stayed”. We chatted for a bit, don’t remember what about. Eventually I asked him why it mattered how we die because eventually we’ll all die anyway. Why does it matter if someone takes their own life?

The man took me back to the open classroom door where I had previously been, and we looked in from the outside. Inside, a young man (20’s) was standing at the front of the room. The screen at the front of the room was showing images of the young guy as a middle aged man. I remember on the screen there were images of him playing with a little girl (presumably his would-have-been daughter), him hugging an older couple (presumably his parents), him smiling and laughing with friends around a table. All the other people in the room sat and watched the screen play in silent. The atmosphere was unbearably depressing.

Eventually me and the guy from the street stepped back and he said something about “So many experiences and lessons wasted because of a temporary problem in one’s life.” He then looked me at me and said something along the lines of “This is where you’re headed. We all have to face our own set of challenges at some point. If not now, then later. Get as much as you can out of your time and avoid the regret.” And with that, I woke up with a different perspective.

TL/DR - Walked into a classroom full of people who had killed themselves, and was kicked out when they found out I was still alive. Talked to a guy in the street about how we all die anyway so what’s it matter. Saw a recent suicide watching a tv screen of his life playing out if he hadn’t killed himself. Was told we all have to go through hardships, it’s part of our growth, and suicide only leads to deep regret.

So, I just had this dream. I have no clue what the hell it means. If I need to give backstory I will.

This is the dream. My girlfriend and I are mercenaries for the US government. We are world renowned and all of US loves us. They call us Bonnie and Clyde. It’s great. One day she tragically dies on a job. No one knows but my boss and me. So we are famous and a TV show calls him to join. He asks me to send a picture of me smiling so he knows I’m getting paid well (as a joke of course). So instead I send a picture of my girl and I. Then the crowd of the audience goes silent. My boss (on the show) finally tells the world about her. Everyone is depressed. Then I send another picture. It’s a picture of the scars on my wrist that I made because of her passing. The caption of the pic says “What is valor, if there’s no one to share it with”. Time goes by and my boss calls me for one last job. I take it. I’m to impersonate a bad guy to get info at a bad guy headquarters. I go and the bad guys pat me down. As I’m walking to his door I see these pyramids next to me. Two to be exact. Really big. I look up at them and the sun shines from behind them. I get a headache and fall to the floor. My vision changes from red to grey, then red to grey again and again. I can hear my heartbeat and feel it shaking the earth. Then my heartbeat and vision stop being weird lol. A shadow rises from behind the pyramids and it’s a Pegasus. It swoops down in front of my vision and shortly disappears out of my sight completely. A skeletal creature was riding it. Then I wake up in my room but everything is grey. I realize it’s a dream so I start telling myself to wake up. Over and over again. It doesn’t work. So I hold my breath for 30 seconds. Then I actually wake up, gasping for air. That’s my dream.

So, I just had this dream. I have no clue what the hell it means. If I need to give backstory I will.

I cried, it was so freaking horrifying.

⚠️Warning: this may freak you out, so just prepare yourself if you are one to be scared easily. ⚠️

My nightmare was set up in the country. Not much people, not much drama. I was kidnapped and taken to this house where there was nothing but grass for miles. No trees, or animals, or anything. Just grass. With a decently small house plopped mid-center. When I was walked into the house, there was an around 30 year old male in the dining room, praying. But it wasn’t like a normal pray like you would imagine it to be. He was praying to the people that had died in that house. He was afraid they might do something to him “again.” The dining room was to the left. The bathroom was no more than four feet in front of the front entrance. And the living room was to the right. Very small, comfy, country house-like building. There was also a women in the living room just relaxing on the couch. She was staring at the tv, of course my dream wasn’t that detailed so I don’t know what was on, but I know she was watching it. The kidnappers sat me down on the couch next to her. I didn’t say anything, I didn’t do anything. I just sat there, watching the tv with her. It was one of those houses where you could just *feel* the spirits that were haunting it. It was terrible. Anyways, then, I had to use the restroom. It was incredibly small. You took one step in and to the right was the toilet and left was the sink. That’s it. You had room to stand between the two and nothing more. There were mirrors above both the toilet and the sink. So, I did what I need to do and sat down. I had my palms against my forehead. And suddenly *EVERYTHING* turns absolutely pitch black. Silent and I could feel the pounding of my heart in the dream and in real life. Blood is not dripping from every crack and corner of the ceiling. It was gory as crap. Then, pale arms and hands with the brightest red nail polish I’ve ever seen start to grasp my knees. I hear “You’ll find us where you least expect it” in a whispering, faint, women’s voice. No one was talking to me, I didn’t see any faces; it was as if there were a speaker in the bathroom. Then, I woke up. I immediately went to the bathroom. Somehow wasn’t freaked out by that, but I could NOT look into the mirror. I poured my eyes out. It was, jeez. Don’t have a word for that.

Thank you for reading. Feel free to share any alike experiences :)

What does this mean?

First time posting here. I (32 f) am an avid dreamer, yet I have difficulty remembering them unless they're particularly profound to my subconscious. I woke up this morning sweating and terrified and left with questions. Here's the dream:

Working in an office that resembled a place where I no longer work. There were many bad times at this office, so I suppose that's why my brain put me there. I was sitting quietly at my desk and working hard on something, probably a spreadsheet.

Two women I didn't recognize came around and started handing out paychecks; I recall thinking this was odd since I was paid direct deposit by this company. Anyway, they hand out about 4 checks before saying, "That's all we have. We only had enough checks to pay employees whose last names start with letters A - C."

I got upset and started to say something along the lines of, "I'm going to call (boss) and tell him you're not paying the rest of us. This is illegal, you can't just not pay us! I have a kid to feed!"

Response was, in short, "Tough shit."

I rode an elevator down to a parking lot and called this boss guy. He answers the phone and I say, "Mr. Delphi?" (Not my original boss's name)

"Ah, fuck it, call me Tourettes." Definitely *not* my boss's name lol

"Okay, well, it's payday and they're not paying anyone whose last name doesn't start with letters A through C."

Silence then a response, "Haha, that's how it goes. Sucks to be you!"

My alarm went off and I woke up, heart racing and *angry*. This can't just be surface value I'm worried about money, considering I have two jobs and make a decent living. Does anyone have any insight?

Thanks for reading!
