What are possible meanings for dreams of accomplices?

When you act as an accomplice in a dream, it can mean you participate in sabotaging or harming yourself. You follow along with a thought process or impulse that leads to trouble.

Your shadow side can recruit your ego as an accomplice. It’s a good representation because your shadow talks you into doing things you wouldn’t otherwise do. See: Shadows

Being an accomplice can symbolize that you follow along with someone or something that’s a bad influence on you. For example, a young man dreams about being an accomplice to an arsonist who burns down the house of a famous actress. The actress is the sort of woman the young man wants as a mate, and burning down her house symbolizes the ways he sabotages himself when it comes to finding a woman to love.

The presence of an accomplice, or acting as an accomplice, suggests bad intentions or a guilty conscience. See: Guilty

I had a dream about being an accomplice in a crime and I'm kinda bugging out about it

I don't remember most of my dream. What I do remember is me and an unknown person (a friend? I guess? I really don't know who they were.) planned on looting someone's home after we attacked them. The person I was with killed the man (the man looked like Jason Mamoa for some reason.). We got caught by the man's family immediately after and the person I was with and I cried a lot about what we did. It felt unforgivable. I vaguely remember an image of me doing the act in the dream prior to what I do remember. I don't know the context of that part.

Now lemme explain why I'm bugging out. I'm not a violent person. I would never plan to murder and steal from anyone! I could never hurt anyone. For 2 years, I have been suffering from violent intrusive thoughts and it has been hell. I'm guessing that has something to do with it.

When I woke up, I didn't feel a knot in my stomach or a cold sweat like one would when having a nightmare. I feel like I wasn't fazed by it, initially. I mean I know, ultimately, it was just a dream. It wasn't real. And that I would never actually do something like that. Which is why I felt unfazed. But, after some time of thinking on it, I certainly began feeling mental anguish because of my anxiety.

I don't know how to interpret this dream. I'm genuinely scared that it represents something I want to do in real life. I really hope that is not the case because I don't want to hurt anyone. I don't want any of what happened in this dream. I'm actually on the verge of tears as I type this.

Thanks in advance to those who'll take the time in reading all this and responding. It means a lot to me.

Thief in the Night

I had a dream last night where I was awoken and kidnapped by some guy that looked a little like Leo Dicaprio. I mean he had greased hair and a big head but a boyish face. As my dream progressed he looked a little more like the antagonist from Jungle Cruise. He had a few other accomplices with him. As we headed to the front to where their cars were parked, his accomplices took off while Dream Leo took his firearm he was carrying and just let go. It latched onto the rear left side of his car like it was magnetized. It kind of looked like an assault rifle from Valorant, just a little more chunky and angular. Anyways, apparently there was a girl next to me in the back seat and the three of us took off speeding through stop signs and traffic lights in the middle of the night. We ended up losing his partners, and stopped outside what I guessed was his house. He got out, hopped the fence around the property and started walking towards the house. It looked like there were gravestones in the backyard. I heard an older man which I guess was his dad, who was yelling down to his son from the second story window that his son was a disappointment and wasn't allowed back. Something like that. I don't remember what else happened.

Person from dream into reality

Last night I dreamt about me spending time with another person, what’s weird was it was like a highlight reel or something, like a scene played out with us at a dinner and laughing together what was weird was I didn’t know who she was or why we where laughing but I felt genuine happiness and felt that trust build as I let my guard down with her, then another scene played with us together again by a local park talking, It felt like I wasn’t in control of my body I was observing me But I felt like I knew her and what was happening was completely normal, despite me asking who this is and why am I with her. I felt peace. (Even weirder as she wasn’t the type of girl I normally try and go out with). As I woke up I immediately forgot the dream and went about my day. Eventually my roommate asks to hangout and we get food before heading home. As we where waiting for our food I was talking to him and looking around the building and I saw the girl from my dream. I was confused like I knew her but from where and it all hit me again I stared for a few seconds but Shrugged it off and thought “ I just saw a pretty girl and my mind just made up a scenario in its head to relate to this stranger.” I continued to wait for the food when I saw a guy sit at the table with her they sat in a place that I found odd like it was a first date and she didn’t trust him which I found odd. I didn’t think about her or the dream after I came to my conclusion my mind made it up. As time went on they finally call our order and we began to walk and get it. As I move I see her talking to her accomplice then look at me and make the same weird confused face I did and stop talking mid sentence as she stared at me and I looked back as I witnessed her look I realized we both had the same reaction when noticing each other and I got confused again but this time more questions. I’ve been thinking I’m imagining things but the more I look back at it the more I’m kind of confused? Anyone have this happen before or am I just crazy and ask about some meds from a psyche?

Friends murdered in my dream.

So today I woke up from a very messed up dream.
It was at my friends old place, I was in the room with my mates, it was I and 4 others. In my dream I walked out the front of the house to get something but before I walked out of the room I saw this man standing a bit away from the room's window, then when I came back my mates were gone, that's when I went to look for them. So I asked around if anyone seen them, no one replied so I head towards the back of the house. I walked to the end of the porch then I saw my friend body hanging skinned with nothing his organs on the ground and his legs cut off, another was bitten and ripped, and the other 2 were chopped up into pieces. It was so gruesome there was so much dry blood, so I started looking around and I spot the killer and his accomplice saying "You left one alive". I realise it was the same guy and his accomplice that I previously dreamt of that wanted to kill me but they let me go. I still distinctly remember what the guy looks like from the previous dream, I honestly don't know, I haven't had a dream like that ever and it scares me and I'm so worried for my friends. Btw they are ok, I did talk to them about it and they were so shocked. I wonder if I stayed in the room would I have gotten murdered with them.

I murdered someone in my dream.

Not first hand murder but I feel like an accomplice.

I was with my ex when it happened. She used to do drugs and she was alcoholic and that's the version I saw in my dream.

I got a text from her telling me she got bored and called this dude who had a crush on her, she wanted to mess around with him. I was at home when I got her texts, she sent me pictures if this dude drunk to his neck. She had spray painted over his face and removed his finger nails with pliers. My guy told me she was up to no good, I rushed to her place and I saw him with her on the roof. She told this guy to jump from the roof we were standing on to the other. She had her phone out video recording it. while I was asking this dude to come down from the ledge. But this fucker wanted to impress my ex.

"Please, let this prove I love you." He said and jumped, but he didn't make it to the other side he went straight down like a Pigeon with a busted wing. We froze. Adrenaline kicked in and I ran to the edge. I looked down to see him lying on the floor still moving. No blood. Still breathing. I prayed all he suffered were broken bones (wishful thinking instead of death) We rushed down and dear Jesus the fucker's been split in half on his way down. (I could see it in the goriest details Because I've seen a man chopped In half in real life) that's when I woke up!
