What are shadow dreams about?

This one happened right in front of me.

In hindsight, being possessed by the monster and having the process of it causing her to drown in shadow (the thing was a shadow monster) as her screams turned to gurgling was probably quite painful. It was certainly terrifying on my end as a witness, that's for sure.

help please tf does this mean. I was in an apartment I think, and the hallway was filled with shadow beings then vaguely Peter Griffen like being came in and gave me the S U C K. please what is going on.

Could anyone PLEASE interpret this dream my girlfriend had of me ?

She dreamed that we were walking together in a small street in a french small town, her idea is that the town is Paimpol, a city in Brittany, France next to where she’s from.

Then all of her friends turn up and we find a tattoo machine while walking all together. Everybody then proceeds to tattoo my girlfriend a tattoo of his/her choice at a spot of his/her choice. I tattoo her too. Of all the tattoo my girlfriend receives, mine is the biggest and one of the most detailed and well designed one, it had shadows and volumes whereas the tattoos of her friends were usually simpler doodles.
My tattoo was also the only one featuring colors, all the other ones were in black and white.

So I had a terrible experience. I don’t know if it was a dream or it actually happened. But here it is.
I was dreaming that a black shadow/silhouette was attacking me from behind while I was sleeping. The attack felt like it tried to enter my body through my back. As if it tried to posses me. I could suddenly feel a heavy weight in me. I was lying on my right side face toward the wall.
I got confused, because I thought I was having sleep paralysis, so I tried to wake up by moving my little finger. It worked and I woke up, but not completely. I tried screaming but my voice was too low for anyone to hear. Then I fell back into the paralysis and fought to get out.
When I woke up, I was confused and didn’t know if it was a dream or if it really happened. Still haven’t figured it out. It feels as if I was dreaming.
Somebody help me understand what is happening. Is there a demon trying to posses me or something?

I'm curious to know about Dream Interpretations of Death. For me, I had a Dream last night about Death and she came to me as a shadow woman in a cloak. She was kind to me in a brutally honest sort of way. She made me sign consent forms and put me into a Nightmare to confront my biggest fears.
