What are possible meanings for dreams of attacking?
A dream has many options to choose from when telling a story about your being attacked in some way, or something being attacked. The type of attack and related details help to define the symbolism and lead to the meaning. Oftentimes, what’s shown as a physical attack in a dream connects with other associations with the word, such as a personal attack, anxiety attack, emotional attack, plan of attack, or attacking a pile of work. The strength and nature of the attack are clues to deconstruct the story and connect the symbolism with you and your life.
Dreams tell you what you don’t already know consciously, so the source of an attack might not be obvious, such as when you’re in denial that something is affecting you deeply. For example, see: Walmart.
Think about what happened in your life the day before the dream. Were you attacked in any sense, or did it feel that way? Dreams exaggerate, so something that seems small or minor at the time can blow up into something big in your dreams. For example, a romantic partner or friend makes a comment that rubs you the wrong way, or a co-worker questions your judgment.
To be attacked can mean your life is in rough water. You’re struggling. See: Storms
It can mean you’re being attacked from within. See: Enemies, Opponents, Shadows
An attack implies the need to defend yourself. You are in a position open to attack, or feel vulnerable.
Attacking in a dream can symbolize resisting something, and your attack is a way of saying you’re keeping it at bay.
Figures of speech such as “on the attack” can mean focused and aggressive. You can attack your work or a problem, for instance.
Another possibility is that an attack is an expression of anger or frustration. See: Anger
An attack can indicate that something within you is trying to get your attention. It might be a neglected, ignored, or repressed part of yourself that won’t accept that treatment any longer. Animal attacks in dreams, in particular, can be driven by something from within you trying to get your attention. See: Animals
Animal attacks in a dream can be a sign that something is out of kilter with your instincts. For example, a mother dreams that a bear comes out of the woods and mauls her child. It symbolizes that her motherly instincts to protect her child are actually harming him. “Momma bear” is smothering her teenage son.
Assaulting someone in a dream suggests resisting something or disagreeing strongly, or being in a situation where you feel forced to do something against your will.

Vivid dream about my boyfriend
I had a really vivid dream a couple months ago.
It started with me just standing outside an old rundown gas stations. It looked like no one had been there in years, and no one else was around. I walked inside and I saw three figures sitting at a table on the right, but I didn't pay much attention to them. The only thing not covered in dust and rust was a shiny new vending machine to the left. There was no employees behind the counter, in fact, the counter was completely torn apart.
I walked to the vending machine to get a snack. As im looking I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around and my boyfriend is standing there. But hes standing weird, he seemed more confident then usual. I now see the other two people at the table. They're both also my boyfriend, but they were different. One looked meaner and was wearing a baggy tshirt. The other was sitting with their legs crossed, smiling at me kindly, and he was wearing my clothes. It was kinda like his feminine and masculine sides, and the one that tapped me on the shoulder was more like normal him, he was the "leader". It wasn't too weird cause sometimes he is more masculine, talking about football (soccer) and play fighting with me. Other times hes more feminine, he'll wear my clothes and makeup and watch rupaul's drag with me. So I think my brain just split him into 3 different people. (Imma just call them main boyfriend, feminine boyfriend, and masculine boyfriend to tell them apart)
The main guy asked me how im doing. I just said im good. He introduced me to the other two, and they both said hi. I started to get really nervous, and I didn't know why. I started having a panic attack, and main boyfriend reached out to comfort me, which freaked me out even more. I screamed for them not to touch me, I didn't want anyone near me. I ran to the corner and curled up into a ball. I was breathing heavily and crying and I didn't know what was going on. My boyfriend's circled around me, but gave me some space. They kept asking me what was wrong, but I didnt know. I just kept screaming and telling them to not get near me. My main boyfriend just stood up, walked over, and sat down on the ground next to me. He just "well, now im next to you" and a wave of calm rushed over me. I immediately stopped screaming and crying. I just looked over at him, and he was smiling at me.
Then I woke up, that was the end of the dream. Does anyone have any ideas on what this might mean?

Aliens discovered under moons surface.
I had been on Earth, standing in the streets as I watched about seven spaceships flying towards the moon.
I asked someone standing beside me," what are they doing?"
"Aliens have been found underneath the moons surface. They're making contact," they replied.
Time skips to about a week later.
The governments are asking for volunteers to go fight the aliens as it was found they were hostile. I volunteered at the station set up. After training I'm set to go.
I'm on the ship, flying through space and we land (there's a group of about six of us). We begin being attacked.
Next thing I know, I'm waking up as if I had been knocked out by the attacked. All of my crew are gone except for one, who is standing in front of me, inspecting himself in the mirror, his shirt is off, his veins are a dark grey. I realize I'm injured and am leaning against the wall for support as I stand but still fall due to my injuries.
He begins monologueing about how humans won't see them coming because they take our form and how they've been watching earth right under our noses, blah, blah, blah. This entire time I know Earth is doomed. This crew member in front of me was the alien. They could blend in.
While he's finishing his speech, he approaches me and I wake up. I know I died. He had killed me. This dream had felt so realistic and sometimes I wonder if this has happened in some other version of this reality.

Protagonist in my dream was a colour shifting scorpion
Hi
So, I already read upon dream interpretations. There's different meanings of scorpions and different meanings of the scorpions colour. My problem: the scorpions colour switched whilst I was trying to catch it in order to safe my family and also trying not to get stung myself.
Might anyone be so kind, trying to figure out what my subconscious self is telling me? Ask anything though, I'm an opened book.
It started yellowish, sitting on the wall. When it run towards me, it turned dark red. I ran away from it. fell downstairs whilst it was chasing me. Suddenly it was like black? But also had features I think in maroon? I was scared of it and it was quite aggressive towards me (running at me, waving its stingy thingy, trying to attack me) and I tried my best to get rid of it before it could get to my grandma.
Help.

Looking for opinions and thoughts on this Nightmare.
So, I'll describe the dream with the brief details and little narrative that I remember. No matter how strange
So I remember being in some kind of large house which was an orphanage? Or something of the sort, for some reason that old cartoon, fosters home for imaginary friends comes to mind.
I remember a lot of random children being there, I didn't recognise any of them.
I was an authority in this house, as I remember helping some of the kids and they were asking me things etc etc. (only mundane everyday things).
Anyways, a bit 'later' two little girls were starting to complain about a boy, he was a bit older than the both of them. He was abusing them and being really nasty to them.
When I went to confront him I remember catching him trying to bite the arm of the little girl(I'm not sure if he actually managed to take a chunk or not). His mouth was opened extremely wide like a snakes. At which point the dream quickly devolved into a nightmare, I chased off this little boy, but he was suddenly some kind of monster(demon?).
I chased it out of the house that I don't recall the layout of into the back garden which I immediately recognised as my fathers garden. At which point my brother appeared in the upstairs window shouting ''You have to get the 'Gremlin' out!''.
As I was approaching this monster, the little boys face and form were in a constant state of shift. Had black eyes and a cavernous black mouth. Eventually turning into some sort of dog. As I got closer the monster dog was trying to escape, I remember using some sort of superhuman strength to knock something over to block it's path at which point it lunged at me. That's when I woke up.
I was super creeped out for a while after waking up but, I'm not sure what to make of it!
The details I remember most are the black eyes and mouth/weird face on the monster.
Any opinions are welcome!
