What are possible meanings for dreams of biting?
To dream about biting can signify that you feel you have been harmed, especially by a “biting” comment or something similar. The mouth is used to bite and to speak, so the connection between biting and speaking is easy to make.
Being bitten in a dream can symbolize suffering from aggressive treatment. Picture a pack of wolves snarling and snapping at each other over their kill. It’s an image that, in an exaggerated way, can describe situations in life where people aggressively posture and snap at each other. “Snap” can mean loss of temper. Being bitten expresses how you feel, how you are affected.
Biting can symbolize anger, particularly if you’re bitten by an animal known for its temper, such as a goat or raccoon. See: Anger
Animal bites can symbolize trouble or problems caused by your instinctual behaviors, drives, or impulses. For example, a dog bite can mean you are overprotective. A lion bite can mean you are too proud.
To be bitten by a cat can symbolize arguments or fights with a female, especially a girlfriend or wife. See: Cats
Look up the type of the animal that bites you. See: Animals
Biting in an erotic context can indicate excessive sexuality. It’s a way of saying “too much of a good thing.”
Along this line, it can mean that something has captivated you, particularly if something bites you and latches on.
Biting is a childish impulse and can be a childish way of expressing frustration or anger. It can symbolize the expression of feelings in a childish manner.
Biting in a dream can be a way of getting your attention. For example, a snake bite on the wrist is known to be an attempt by the unconscious mind to get your attention, because the time is ripe with potential for positive change. It’s a way of saying “take action.” If you ignore or repress something it will try to get your attention in your dreams, and a bite definitely gets your attention!
A snake or spider bite can symbolize that something is negatively affecting you, poisoning you figuratively. It can symbolize poisonous thoughts, feelings, or influences. See: Venom
Biting is sometimes used as a warning. For example, when your pet cat bites you because you have crossed some sort of line with it. Therefore, biting can be a warning to be careful, to respect boundaries. A situation can suddenly turn on you, the same as a friendly pet can suddenly turn on you.
“Bite off more than you can chew” means to take on too much at once. The symbolism can show in dreams where you cannot chew everything in your mouth or wrap your mouth around something.
Biting and swallowing a penis can symbolize taking something masculine into yourself. For example, after a day hanging out with a group of macho men, a woman dreams about eating a big sausage given to her by Clint Eastwood. It’s a way of saying she’s taking the experience into herself and digesting it. Both the sausage (a phallic symbol) and Clint Eastwood are symbols of machismo.
A young woman who had been mercilessly bullied by her classmates dreams about being forced to suck the penis of one of the bullies. She decides to pretend like she wants to do it, then bites off the penis. See: Revenge
Biting can symbolize pain in the body, which is sometimes described as a “biting pain.” The dreaming mind translates any input or stimuli into symbolism, so a sharp pain experienced while dreaming can be translated into the action of being bitten by something.
Since biting involves teeth, be sure to read the entry for Teeth.

What does it mean to dream of two snakes?
One black and one was white. They looked like cobras, with hoods..
They were chasing us (my brother and i) and then my brother picked me up and carried me because he was faster.. the snakes caught up but I wasn't scared of them and told my brother they wouldn't bite.. they would lift themselves up to touch the bottom of my feet. Could see them very clearly, identical but one black and one white.. does this mean anything ?

false awakenings
okay so throughout this past week i’ve been experiencing something very stressful. The first time, I “woke up” to my body shaking. It’s hard to describe but it felt like something was forcing this upon me. I then “woke up” again to this same thing. It happened once more before I actually awoke. Something similar has happened the following nights as well, but last night was the worst. In my dream, I “woke up” and dragged myself out of bed, hardly able to move. I felt terrified, but i’m not sure of what. Crawling to my door, I attempted to scream, but hardly anything was coming out. I tried banging on my bedroom door to get my moms attention from the other room. Next thing I know, i’m “waking up” again. I did the same things, but this time tried clawing at my skin and banging my head on the door, trying my hardest to wake myself up. It happened one more time but this time I was so weak i couldn’t get myself out of the bed. I bit the inside of my cheek trying to wake up but it didn’t work. I guess I eventually fell into a deeper state of sleep. This morning I realized i have bite marks inside my cheek. This entire situation has seriously been freaking me out. Any advice????????

Dream about a Black Scorpion biting me in the spine while I slept.
I was in bed in my dream trying to sleep, when a black scorpion was crawling on my back. I was too afraid to move, fearing it would sting me, and as I had that thought in my dream, it stung me on the back of my neck. Then the dream repeated, only it stung me in the spine between my shoulder blades. Then I woke up.

I dreamt what happens after I died
This has never happened to me before and its kind of freaking me out. Im wondering if anyone else has experienced this before because nobody in my circles that I asked ever had.
This is the dream:
This was a few nights ago and im still fucked about it.
I was at my childhood home, my parents were really old and frail (75/80’s, they’re actually in their 40’s irl) I felt like i was 24/25 (Im 19). The tv was on and I was cleaning not paying attention when the tv had a really loud alarm. The news guy said that america has fallen and showed huge street fights with fire everywhere and people getting shot and falling by the hundreds. The same dude came back on with another alert and said that the outsider countries that were waiting to attack have just declared war too. The phone rang and I watched my younger brother (18) answer it and hang up. I couldn’t hear him or anything else. He didnt say anything but him and my other brother (17) went upstairs, got a bag and left the house. I knew they got drafted to fight and I knew they didnt say anything bc they weren’t going to come back. My dad got up and hobbled to the door and said he had to protect the family, but I knew he didn’t want to go. He was doing it out of duty, and everyone knew he was too old he would die for certain. My mom was crying and so was my little sister (9) and so was I. Then there was another emergency alarm on the tv to immediately get underground and put something between your teeth and bite down, North Korea was coming. I got my family to go the basement and I was coming behind them, still upstairs when I looked out the window and saw a blinding white light growing and I knew I was going to die right then and I had this huge feeling that I had let it get to that point. It was MY fault that it did.
The light became everything and then it became all dark and my eyes adjusted to see that I was in a moving hallway of sorts. It in space, made out of space, and I could see outside of the area but I was confined to the inside. It was like a black space snake and I was inside riding it like a train. Some of the space scales of the snake worked as doors and I could go into points of time in the future/past, of my life which was a tiny section of it overall and in general too. I looked inside one room but I didn’t go in. It was just trees in a swamp. I opened this other door that had a vibe™️ to it and instantly I was met with this warm yellow glowing light that filled the entire room (which had no walls, it was just the light) and it had the MOST loving feeling ever. It felt like the ultimate motherly warm love ever and I could just melt into it and be happy and safe forever and I was about to step in when the light shifted and formed the face of a lady. The lady opened her eyes and looked directly dead in my eyes and without opening her mouth or anything she said loud and clear: Speak. The sound was in my body and everywhere at the same time.
And then I woke up. And I remained fucked up because I’ve never died in a dream and continued dreaming ever before.
Also my interpretation of the dream was: i have to speak on what ive been meaning and KNOW i need to speak on in order to not let bad things happen. Im trying to write a book and Ive been too scared to start.
This has never happened to me before and its kind of freaking me out. Im wondering if anyone else has experienced this before because nobody in my circles that...

Looking for opinions and thoughts on this Nightmare.
So, I'll describe the dream with the brief details and little narrative that I remember. No matter how strange
So I remember being in some kind of large house which was an orphanage? Or something of the sort, for some reason that old cartoon, fosters home for imaginary friends comes to mind.
I remember a lot of random children being there, I didn't recognise any of them.
I was an authority in this house, as I remember helping some of the kids and they were asking me things etc etc. (only mundane everyday things).
Anyways, a bit 'later' two little girls were starting to complain about a boy, he was a bit older than the both of them. He was abusing them and being really nasty to them.
When I went to confront him I remember catching him trying to bite the arm of the little girl(I'm not sure if he actually managed to take a chunk or not). His mouth was opened extremely wide like a snakes. At which point the dream quickly devolved into a nightmare, I chased off this little boy, but he was suddenly some kind of monster(demon?).
I chased it out of the house that I don't recall the layout of into the back garden which I immediately recognised as my fathers garden. At which point my brother appeared in the upstairs window shouting ''You have to get the 'Gremlin' out!''.
As I was approaching this monster, the little boys face and form were in a constant state of shift. Had black eyes and a cavernous black mouth. Eventually turning into some sort of dog. As I got closer the monster dog was trying to escape, I remember using some sort of superhuman strength to knock something over to block it's path at which point it lunged at me. That's when I woke up.
I was super creeped out for a while after waking up but, I'm not sure what to make of it!
The details I remember most are the black eyes and mouth/weird face on the monster.
Any opinions are welcome!
