What are devouring dreams about?

I was in my room and it was morning, but my room is kinda dark because of the curtains. There was a brief gust of wind that moved the curtains and all of a sudden there was light in my room. This light was attractive to me, so I looked at it and felt an ominous presence that was good in nature. This light was devouring me and I didn’t mind it I was levitating in my room gravitating towards it up until there was another presence in my room that shut the blinds and pulled the curtain to make my room dark again.
I felt an awful presence of being back in the dark and then suddenly I woke up in my real room where everything was dark just like in my dream.

I felt awful after I woke up as that light felt godlike? I was in complete darkness when I woke up since my curtain blocks out sunlight really good

So last night I had this dream, I was at my previous school with some of my old schoolmates.
But there was something preying on us; an invisible creature who would suck out our entire hearts and insides, and only leave our skin behind to rot.

It was chaotic and everyone was running around and if the creature caught anyone alone, it would suck the life right out of them.

We were hiding in the school’s basement which also included a selection of books. One was called “The Big Orange Man” which caught my eye. I was just looking through the limited selection of books they had as the invisible monster captured one of my friends and sucked them dry. Everyone was screaming and running around as the creature would consume them one by one.

We also had a “spiritual leader” come to our school to help us rid the school of the evil monster.

He kept telling us that we needed to start believing in God and putting our trust in him to survive the crisis.

He recommended a few books for us to read, one of which was the “Big Orange Man” that I had found at the library! And all the other books he mentioned were also stacked up together in the school basement which had caught my eyes before.

Again we went to hide from the monster but it was devouring everyone... Except for me, it never even came close to me and I felt strange. But relieved in a way.

The spiritual leader also had a great connection with me and was always smiling at me and not being too hard on me as he was on the others.

So I grabbed the Orange Man book and started reading it. Interestingly, the book was about God and how in a fictional story people rid themselves of the same invisible evil we were trying to battle.

And then it all clicked. The answer to our problems was God. AKA the big orange man (No not Trump lmao).

So I was trying to tell people and spread the message of the spiritual leader. Telling everyone they had to stay together to not be vulnerable to the evil creature.

But my friends were running around and not listening to me. I was exhausted and scared.

Then I saw an enormous orange halo, it was God and He was speaking to me without using any words. Assuring me that all our problems would go away if we just trusted in him. He was warm and loving. He told me to never worry again, that everything would be alright if we just had faith and I felt incredibly peaceful.

It was extremely vivid; it was about a family (a dad and his sister whose husband died for unknown reasons, the dad’s little girl and a boy from his in laws that got into a car crash and both parents passed on and he now has special needs) in woods filled with pine trees, the smell was so strong it was almost nauseating. They owned a pig farm and this becomes important later.

They were living peacefully until one morning the boy was missing so the family went outside and all the pigs were slaughtered and I mean absolutely butchered. The boy was on the ground and when he got up, it was obvious someone had chopped off the lower half of his body and sewed on the lower half of a pig with its genitals mutilated. The dad ended up having to take him out of his misery and had to bury the boy and all the pig bodies. The girl had hid herself in the aunt’s arms and didn’t see all this but she heard it as the boy was calling for her. The aunt then proceeded to tell her her mom and the boy’s family got involved with some kind of cult trying to created human pig hybrids in order to unleash something called the Umbral Hand to control and govern the world as its god. Then a little girl with blond hair and red clothes with an eye on it appeared to the little girl and said the cult had implanted a gateway to the Door leading to this dark dimension where the Umbral Hand was inside of her body and she needed to find a way to close it. Then I guess one of the hand’s underlings started to scream and taunt and hurl nasty obscenities at this girl through the door, telling her the nasty things he’d do to her body if he ever got possession of it. This was all in her mind so she kept getting headaches and her ears kept ringing but she had decided to go on this journey by herself to figure this out. Then somehow the world she was in became enshrouded by never ending night and nothing that involves electricity was working including the car. So this little girl got a horse from her stable and as soon as she got on the road her horse was devoured by demon wolves and she ran away. Her dad had caught up on his own horse but the horse had skid into a railing and exploded underneath him so they were forced to journey on foot.

Also the spirits and demons in this world seemed to recognize me as another entity as they kept telling me I crossed into somewhere I shouldn’t have and that I don’t belong here and that I shouldn’t interfere with that world but there was another entity(?) with me that said it was keeping me there “in order to bear witness”.

I don’t know what any of this means, and I didn’t listen to anything violent or scary and I don’t have anything I’m worried about and I didn’t take any drugs or anything either but it felt so real and vivid and I’m terrified. Please help me.

I had an amazing dream last night, but details are fleeting….. Now all I remember is when the dream turned south and I was attacked by a clown (kinda like IT). I was trapped in a circus tent and was fighting back, next thing I know the circus tent collapsed and the clown was on top of me, I felt helpless like it was about to devour my soul…. I couldn’t move and felt paralyzed, I could literally fell the tent wrapping me up and constricting me…. I finally was able to break free as I awoke, and realized that the “tent” was my blankets…. I’m open to interpretation if you’d like to give insight….

So I was walking down the street at night and I saw a lynx. Mind you, I live in the city and I was walking to my old house for some reason.. I guess I lived there in the dream. Anyways I was walking and when I saw the lynx(I think it was a baby)sitting down and minding it’s own business but I didn’t think anything of it. So we both looked at each other nonchalantly and I started walking.. as I start walking, everything starts moving in slow motion and then I just see a huge sloth(Probably 7-9 feet tall)jumping over me to get to the lynx and it just devours the lynx. The sloth wasn’t like a normal calm and cute sloth. It looked pretty monstrous and it was very aggressive. At first I thought it was coming for me but fortunately I was wrong..Wtf! Is there some kind of meaning behind this dream?
