What are possible meanings for dreams of ditching?
A ditch in a dream can indicate a lowly personal state. When a ditch is used as a comparison, it can express a similar meaning as “mind in the gutter.”
For example, a man dreams that he waits for his pretty female co-worker to leave work and abducts her. He drives her to a deserted area, saying out loud, “I just have to get it.” He pulls her out of the car and into a ditch, presumably to rape her. She kicks him in the groin and runs away. He tracks her down, knife in hand. The last thing he sees before the dream ends is the thick look of fear in her eyes.
The dream could easily be interpreted as a rape fantasy, but in the co-worker the dream presents two layers of meaning. One, she’s the sort of pretty girl he feels like he’ll never have, and two, his advancement at work is blocked. He’s not getting what he wants on either front, expressed in his statement, “I just have to get it.” The situation is hitting him right in the manhood, symbolized by the kick in the groin. The ditch symbolizes where his thoughts and feelings dwell. He’s in a lowly state.
A ditch is commonly used to describe a situation that runs off the proverbial road. If your life is in a ditch, it means you encounter difficulties that bring you down.
A ditch is where water drains or escapes, and that idea can be used in dreams to express a wish to escape a situation or be rid of troublesome emotions.
A ditch can symbolize wanting to conceal your feelings, thoughts, motives, intentions, or actions.
“Ditch” can be wordplay for “avoid.”

i had a dream about my male teacher
and no, it’s not about “i have a dream of him and we were dating in my dream” yada yada. i hate him in real life, i always have a feeling that he’s a predator and i’m VERY uncomfortable around him. yesterday, i told a friend about him and how uncomfortable i am when he’s teaching and went to sleep without knowing that i’d have a dream about him. in my dream, i was on a date with him. i dont know how and why i went on a date with him but all i could remember is that i was trying so hard, to find a way to ditch him. when i woke up, i think to myself “wow, i really hate him”. okay, thanks for listening. if you know what it means please let me know, do i hate him so much or did he traumatized me?

Disturbing dream... any ideas?
Hello, last night I had a really disturbing dream (I am prone to them, but this one has had a residual effect.)
I dreamed I was back in Ireland (where I’m from) on a small country road. I was on a motorcycle that I hadn’t driven before. Part of the road was badly flooded, and I pulled over to the side to check my bike after going through it.
As I did so, a van came behind and in an attempt to avoid me, the driver Aqua planed into the ditch.
Behind him was another car, full of people. They were going to fast and then had to try and navigate the flood whilst avoiding both the other vehicle and me. They didn’t manage it and the car flipped and burst into flames.
From out of nowhere, people ran towards it - I was screaming for them not to, as it was too dangerous (but in reality, I didn’t want them to as I felt guilty that I would not go up to it, even though I felt it was all my fault.)
I dialled emergency services, but they didn’t come for a long long time. In that time, it became dusk and the fire died down in the car. I told myself I had to look at what was inside, as I had to face up to what I had caused. As I did so, I was confronted with six charred and disfigured corpses. They began to twitch, then move, then reach towards me. I started shouting at the person with me that they were still alive and why were they moving? This person insisted they were not moving whatsoever. I began screaming and clutching my head, truly believing I was losing my mind.
That’s when I woke up, but I can’t shake the dream.
Any ideas?
Also - apologies - first post so I’m not sure if I’m in the right place!

Can’t seem to figure out what this means..
I just had a dream that I was going for a jog, it started in my old high school. I was running down the hallway that would lead to the elementary wing, then it morphed and I was running down a familiar dirt road. I was going along and ran around a bend in the road, and I saw an ambulance driving toward me on the road and it became winter time. The ambulance lost control on the icy road and was swerving all over, the ambulance had glass windows on the sides so I could see inside. I could see people being bumped around inside taking care of the injured person. The lights were all flashing. The ambulance continued to swerve all over the road and I jumped into the ditch so I wouldn’t get hit by it. The ambulance swerved around the corner and ended up getting some air and came flying into the ditch and landed right next to me and then I woke up.

Crazy dream that demands a dissection because it's extremely unique
I had a dream where I was in an unknown bedroom, unkempt, due to my actions. Prior to falling asleep, I position my face near the wall, and left a gap in my bed, more this seems to increase the chance of a lucid dream. First, I was alone in a room. And I kept getting a loop over and over of me being in this room. When I finally escaped, I went to a park, with a sort of "high" feeling. I climbed up the gymnastics equipment, and looked down (I realized wow, this is high up) but I wasn't fazed. A athletic coach yelled at me to get down, so I did. And I walked around the rest of the park, contemplating times with me girlfriend. These were made up memories, but the women was real. I remembered going into a declined piece of land (Probably a drainage ditch), in my memory. This was near a road, so the cars were speeding by, whereupon we proceeded to make out. Then I was back in this room. I looked outside the curtains and it looked like a compound. I was paranoid, but I went back to sleep. A symbol that stuck out as I repeated this area as I woke up, was a laptop stuck in the corner of the room, glaring. I wake up again, and my brother tries to grab my balls. Now I never was molested by anyone in my childhood, and never by my younger brother. Next wake up, ghost. Next one a surreal FBI/CIA style raid where I say rays of light flicker about the hallway as I lay down. I hear the breaking of glass, and voices searching through the house. Again, I wake up and break free as I hear voices of my cousin and his wife coming in. They see me, and we talk. My cousin is a crazy dude (he may have got PTSD in Iraq) constantly paces the house as we as a group talk. I say there are demons in that bedroom, my Cousin starts talking about conspiracies involving him. I look into my nephews eyes. It's dark outside. Then they disappear, and my family comes in. My mom's dream...
Today, my mom told me about a dream she had. This was what happened in it:
A car fell in a ditch.
The next day (in real life), she came to know that her cousin's mom had died. How, you may ask?
Her car fell in a ditch.
It's very weird, and I'm starting to think that someone might have communicated to her through the dream to tell her that her cousin's mom was going to die. Any thoughts on this?
