How can you make sense of lawyers in dreams?

Lawyer dreams are very rare. Among other things lawyer dreams are normally interconnect.

Do you think this is true for your dream of lawyers? How might your dream of lawyers be different?

All dreams have meaning

You can gain insight from thinking about any dream, no matter how strange. Only you, as the dreamer, have final say on what your dream may or may not mean. Each dream is unique.

Look for the differences

The DreamWell dictionary provides information on how each dream symbol appears in dreams in general. Finding how experience lawyers in dreams can be a key to understanding its meaning.

Return to the feelings

Our emotions in dreams can help us understand its meaning. Pay attention to how you felt in the dream. Pay attention to how you feel about lawyers in dreams. See how you feel about lawyers now, in your waking life.

What are possible meanings for dreams of lawyers?

To dream about being a lawyer, or being defended by a lawyer, can symbolize arguing your case. When do you argue your case if not in a courtroom? At school, work, home, online. You can argue your case with a spouse or significant other, when you are trying to get hired, or while negotiating deal. There are many possibilities. The key to the meaning is that you assert or defend yourself, try to uncover the truth, or need help making your point or arguing your side in a situation or argument.

Many other associations come into play when you consider the possible symbolism of a lawyer. Lawyers are commonly associated with people who take advantage of misfortune (ambulance chasers), with working long hours, and with speaking in a way that most people can’t understand (Latin and legal terminology), to name a few.

Dreaming about being in the presence of a lawyer who speaks a language you don’t understand can symbolize a situation where something is “over your head.” For example, you want to create a website and are a beginner. You talk to an expert who spouts acronyms and jargon, and you hardly understand a word of it.

As with all dream symbolism, the meaning is found in the context and action of the dream. If you dream you are a lawyer and in court presenting your case, the symbolism is more likely to relate to making arguments or debating.

Dreaming about being defended by a lawyer can connect with feeling accused or guilty. Keep in mind that most dreams are based on your internal dynamics, so if you need a lawyer to defend you, it might be against an accusatory voice in your head. You know, the one that says you’re no good and can’t do anything right. Or the voice of your conscience. See: Guilty

If you are involved in a legal situation, you could dream about a lawyer. Or if you are considering an action that will lead to going to court, such as getting a divorce, you could dream about a lawyer because soon you might be hiring one!

6 different lifetimes

Had a pretty sad dream last night. I can still recall everything since I was so emotionally struck by it. This is a bit of a long read but I hope I get some insight from people here.

So it was about this couple (i can’t remember their faces) and their journey to being a complete family with their daughter. Let’s call them Jack and Rose, and their daughter, Lily.

It happened in a straight squatter street and it was always sunset. In every scene, in every lifetime, they’re always trying to get to their daughter (she’s located in a shed and was filthy and crying) by without getting killed but to no avail. They’re always killed by a lady who’s obsessed with Jack, and Rose’s ex boyfriend.

It was like a race. They were always running. Always jumping through houses and avoiding fire. But they were always killed. Or the two antagonists always seem to get to Lily first.

This continued for the first 5 lifetimes. Every time they were killed, it would start all over again. Same street. Same people. It was always sunset.

Each lifetime was indicated in a giant clock, 1 hour = 1 lifetime.

When 6 struck, everything became different. It was like they were now living different lives with no memories of their past. Sunset was replaced with blue skies.

Jack was a lawyer.

I forgot what became of Rose, but I remember they were both very successful but also both very unhappy. In my dream, i felt their longing. I also felt their frustration because they did not know WHAT it was they were longing for.

I knew it was Lily, the daughter they always failed to get to.

Both the lady and the man (the killers) actually became a couple in this life. They were poor and dirty and also very unhappy. But they had a child.

It was Lily. She’s still filthy. She’s still crying.

They were all still stuck in the same street.

First crazy dream in years

Recently I stopped using medical marijuana because my baby momma was/is trying to use it against me in a custody battle. My lawyer advised me she can't but i quit just to be safe. I love my newborn daugter more than anything in this world. This may be why I had this dream and need help analyzing it. As mentioned in the title, I haven't had a dream like this in I don't know how long. Been thinking about it all day. I'll try to keep it brief and provide as much detail as possible and would love some feedback/help interpretating it.

I was in a nice Forrest/nature community. Went with friends and stopped by a friend's home from what I can remeber. My friends left to a bar down the street while I talked to the family. They all seemed nice. They asked if I wanted to work out and I said sure. Started working out with a female and I somehow got butter in my hair. I think I accidently put it or someone was pranking me. Can't remeber.

I asked if I could shower and they didn't have one. Weird. I walked around the house but then it seemed more like a school house or b and b type of place. No one knew where I was staying (asked them to point me in the direction of my hotel) ended up finding a sink with running water. Decided to wash my hair there.

Finished up, walking to the front to leave and meet my friends and suddenly a huge earthquake starts and I try to head outside as the front of the building is going into a sink hole. I go back and a river or two start "sprouting " up. Almost like cartoons when gophers dig and you can see the track going but with rivers in this case. I go left/right same thing.

The earthquake stops and everyone starts assessing the damage. I tell everyone we're semi stuck but we can possibly leave just have to find the right spot. I tell them I have to go to the bar and see that my friends/brother (i don't recall him there in the beginning but then he is) are okay. See the sink hole out the front door and I knw I can't make the jump. Some guy I don't know in my dream says he can, tries and fails but no one really cares. I was like, uh this dude just died and no one cares. Another guy says it's cause he didn't get a running start and makes the jump.

I don't recall how but somehow I got out and went to the the bar. It's a 3 story building and half of it is almost in a sink whole but no one cares. They're just singing and continue to drink but I can't find my friends.

My gf woke me up and that's about all I got. I have a feeling this has to do with what's going on in my personal life with my daughter but not quite sure because that has affected all aspects of my life. I'm not outgoing anymore cause I'm broke with lawyer fees/child support. Selling my house to pay for all that. My relationships have taken a toll with friends/gf. So I don't know if my brain is trying to tell me something. Any help would be much appreciated.

What was the most disturbing dream you've ever had?

Warning: This is rather graphic.

Mine happened very recently, like two days ago. It was about a lawyer going about his business in the courtroom, when he found out that his daughter had been taken; or, more accurately, had chosen to give herself up in his place because I guess the other legal team was after him or something. He found her in an old castle, her entire body impaled in various places by a chandelier, as well as a few of her friends. He rushed over to lift the chandelier off her but couldn't, it was too heavy. So he proceeded to rip through her skin and basically flay her to drag her out from beneath it. The most disturbing part was that she regained consciousness and looked up at him and asked what he was doing--she had chosen to die, and didn't want him to see her like this. He wrapped her up and carried her away, knowing that she wouldn't live past them leaving the entranceway. What in the actual hell? I don't even watch horror movies.

Recurring Dream About Problematic Skeletal Justice in the Other World

I was a clerk or trainee lawyer at a law firm. There was candle wax dripping on the floor. Very scholarly place. Maybe there was a globe. I was taken through a secret passage under a mat beneath the table and my legs were really achy and tired and I was told my three women that there was a problem no one was admitting to in the world. It involved the fact that people could not die anymore. A cure all medicine had been discovered and people were taking it and just not getting ill or killing each other perfect. No hate in the world. Perfect. But not so perfect was the fact that a side effect of the medicine was that each night you fell into a deep sleep and your skeleton came away from your body almost completely bloodlessly and was really brought to life. With a life of their own skeletons wreaked havoc some were good and some were bad some stole and set suburban houses on fire some were involved in government corruption and violent crimes. People woke up maybe feeling slightly achy but ok though they woke to disaster. The skeletons were drawn back each night to the warmth of humans and something that got repeated a lot was that they felt the cold. But of course the problem was if you arrest a skeleton then you have to arrest the human too. I mean too long apart could disable or kill a person and make their life difficult like obviously no walking or standing up without prompts. So what do you do when a criminal occupies the same space and body as an innocent? The three elders said they were off to make lunch in a grandfather clock and were quite mocking about how tasty lettuce and tomato and mayonnaise was (no bacon though, pork was banned) and how I could have none of it. It was prohibited and reaching some kind of alternative dispute resolution with the skeletons was now on my watch. Then they waved a fob watch like a hypnotist in my face and waved their hands and said “ooh!” They left me with a broom and a soggy paper brown bag for lunch which had two bones of a rib cage in. I found that really insulting and I said shut up what you have done here is degrading so I will leave after all. I tripped up on the door and it was quite embracing.

I felt guilty about my own prejudice because I probably said I hate darn skeletons they’re all tricks and liars...
