What are maggot dreams about?

I lowkey have trypophobia so this dream made my skin crawl. But in the dream my ears were itchy felt like something was moving in there, it was a very weird tingly sensation. i pulled my ear buds out and to my shock there were earwax and little black /yellow things moving around in swarms on the buds. In the dream, for some reason i tried to remove the worms or whatever they were with tweezers instead of just throwing everything away. I have goosebumps thinking abt it.

So the dream spawns w me in my bed texting my ex, I guess in the dream we got back together but anyways I got out of bed to go take a shower. And as I walk into the bathroom I see that I had grown breasts, like B cup sized and its oddly... comforting. I wasn't horny or anything it just gave me a sense of relief which I thought was weird. But I take a shower and I didn't tell my ex so she texts me something about "Oh so you're just gonna stop texting me, I see how it is" which is really akin to her character which is why I stopped seeing her but I text her that i'm just gonna take a shower so i'll brb. I do what I need to do and when I get out, my entire family bursts into the bathroom or at least everyone who lives in the same house as me. I quickly put on a towel but no one really acknowledges me except for my mom (who im just gonna tell you now is ftm trans but im going to say mom to avoid confusion because they're in this dream alot) but my dad says something about my little sister being ill and then my little sister says she wants to my play WoW, but then they all leave except my mom. I wanted to tell them about the breast thing but I didn't because i was scared about what they would think, so we kinda just starred at each other for a little while until they said something which I don't remember. Then my toilet catches on fire which I thought was pretty funny so I posted it online. But then I hear sirens, really loud ones, and I walk out of the bathroom to hear blood curdling screams of people caught on fire, and people yelling at them like cops or something, I wanted to look at them but it was blocked by a weird purple wall, like techno material from gmod but purple. I told my mom but they just told me to ignore it and it would go away. Anyways I go downstairs to see the place lit up my candles, now that I think about it I woke up really late. But I turn to see that everyone was watching a movie, I tell everyone that the people on fire where behind our house but they still ignored me. I then started to regurgitated some weird substance that tasted like mucus (probably cause I was asleep) that had the consistency of chewed up pie crust, I kept swishing water to hopefully get it out over the sink and it eventually just disappeared. But then I told my family that I was going to go help those people, they ignored me like usual so I went outside to turn to the street where everyone would be but no one was there. My dream then cuts to me swimming as a fish, giant boats everywhere and it was really hard to swim, but I eventually sunk and found this weird lsd place, like pirates making lsd under water. Thats when my mom showed up as a squid. We then both flew out of the water, I think because one of us turned into a seagull or something, but we flew over the other boats until we landed on this one yacht thing that seemed to have an artificial beach on it that seemed to carry us away because my mom had turned into a jelly fish and I didn't want to loose them so grabbed onto their tentacles. The waves carried us to this one place that seemed to be a motel on the yacht, with piles of carcasses of dead pandas and squids, brimming with maggots and parasites. And the people around us didnt care. But thats where my dream ended, what does it mean?

I had a dream last night that me and my boyfriend were in a movie theater when a scene in the movie came on that involved maggots. I was unsettled so I grabbed him for comfort and I felt maggots under his skin where I was holding his shoulder. Suddenly I felt movement in my throat and began spitting up chunks of maggots. It didn’t feel like vomit but they just kept coming up so I kept spitting them into a plastic bag I had. I was trying to do it so no one would notice, but my bf noticed and got concerned. I went to the bathroom with the bag and for some reason I couldn’t find a place to dispose of them. Even though there was a trash can and toilets. After spitting up some more in the toilet I put the bag in the trash and I was suddenly holding a cup of leftover flowers that my bf gave me in real life (the flowers have been slowly dying on my table here). I threw up one last group of maggots in the cup of flowers and they started eating/killing the flowers. I was still just trying to hide the maggots from all the people around me and get out. Shortly after, I found my bf and he drove me home.

I had a dream where I was in the mirror in a large public, dimly lit bathroom. There were long white maggots in my gums. I pulled them out and they’d land on the floor with a ‘splat’ noise, and disappear. It was pretty disturbing, what could it mean?

Ok so I just woke up in a pool of sweat after the most terrifying nightmare I’ve ever had in my life. It’s almost 3AM when I’m writing this and I just feel like I need to write this down or I’ll forget. So it started exactly where I am now, laying in bed. Except I wake up to the sound of my window being scraped open with some fingernail on chalkboard type noise. This starts me awake and I look over to the window, which has my curtains covering most of it and a small amount of moonlight shines through the glass. The moonlight illuminates because a creepy, smiling, wrinkly face of a bony old man (his face kinda reminded me of the moonlight man from Gerald’s Game but not quite, this guy was skinnier and short kinda like Rumplestiltskin). Anyway, before I can do a double take the guy is already up close, waving a pocket watch in my face, and making that clicking sound with his tongue to simulate the sound of a clock. I’m paralyzed with fear when I realize a weird sensation and look down at my body under the covers. which is now covered in ants, roaches, and maggots. I try to scream but nothing will come out, I then look back up and the man is gone, instead there are shadowy faces in the dark edges of my room who are all laughing. All the sudden my feet are yanked from the end of my bed and I scream for help but nothing will come out, I’m pulled past all my family members’ rooms and try to scream for help but I just can’t talk. The whole time the guy is just laughing while pulling me and waving his pocket watch. After dragging me for a bit, he finally looks at the pocket watch, pulls out a revolver, points it at me, and says “times up”. I woke up right before he pulled the trigger.

This may seem like a generic nightmare, but this felt so real to a point I can’t explain. After I woke up I kept seeing faces in the shadows and feeling sensations that weren’t there. I had to go turn the lights on. I think I know what this dream is about though, maybe it’ll help me. But it doesn’t make it any less terrifying.
