What are possible meanings for dreams of skyscrapers?

The size of something in a dream can be used as a comparison, and a skyscraper is ripe for comparison with high ambitions, huge ego, tremendous standing, or monumental effort. It can be used to indicate a big amount, such as how much you love or admire someone and look up to that person.

It can be used in the sense of “stand tall,” meaning confidence in abilities and recognition for achievements, or “stand your ground,” “top of the heap,” “king of the hill,” or “top-level.”

A skyscraper can symbolize your body. It can symbolize an aspect of your mind, or your psyche. See: Buildings

A tall building can be used to give perspective, because the view from the top oversees everything.

A skyscraper can even symbolize a tall person. From the perspective of a child, adults appear to be giants.

The top of a skyscraper can be a lonely place and can symbolize a feeling of isolation.

Just a standard ridiculous dream of mine

This is just the ending, there was more to it, but I forgot.

I had been pissed and smashed some guy's window with a stone, which put me in ridiculous debt, which pissed me off even more. Then I was at my parents' house. There were sticks stuck in the ground to curse the place and I logically deduced that my grandmother had done it. At the edge of those cursed sticks was a drunk goblin who was making a post with the hashtag #lowestpointinlife and told me about how he had almost been eaten by a space shark on his way here. I think I asked him why the fuck he would even bother coming here, but then I was already parachuting from a skyscraper that was also a freighter because commando units were approaching and my friends thought they were evil. For some strange reason I did not think they were. Wtf was I thinking?

End.

I can correlate most of this to some stuff, so I don't need much of explanations, but I still wanted to share because I thought it was funny. Still, if you feel like interpreting something, go ahead and amuse yourself.

A dream that touched reality

I had a dream a few nights ago and really it clinged to me. It was a really good dream. It started with me sitting in a old looking theater. To the left of me was a girl my age and we looked at each other for a second and we smiled heartfully at each other. A few second later her hand moves slowly towards my arm rest and eventually i do the bold move of grabbing her hand. It felt so real and i got this really warm tingly feeling (which i guess is what love feels like) and i just can't forget it.

I also vividly remember us later sitting in a futuristic banquet hall still holding hands. Later i also end up climbing up a futuristic sky scraper with her later for us both to just let go and fall down far until we hit a glass roof of a mall. I didn't feel scared though when falling. I can't remember her face but still remember the touch of our hands. When i woke up i instantly wanted to go back and keep on thinking about us holding hands and somehow hurts to think about it almost makes me cry.

I met the Devil??

Hi All, please help me interpret this dream because I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what this means. For context, I'm 24f. just lost a job because it wasn't in my field at all, and earlier this year I found out my ex cheated on me. As a hopeless romantic I was just devastated because I thought he was The One.

Let me tell you the story.

So it started off in a warehouse/flat situation where everyone was just hanging out, and I assume it was a sort of medical centre for crackheads too since we'd have a couple come over and some doctors would take them in. Then I eventually decided to follow my friend's sister and mum to the beach outside (think southend-on-sea but barren and with seating areas like in The Minnack Theatre in Cornwall).

We settled on the beach and sat around for a while until two of my friends came over, and we started talking about the Devil being on the top floor of this specific skyscraper, and how he tells you your future. Bear in mind that I didn't see skyscraper surrounding the beach until they said this, and there was a specific black one which tbh looked pretty cool. So one by one everyone at the beach went to go see him, even my friends, and by the end of the day it was my turn.

My friend showed me the way into the building, but couldn't go up with me since the elevator warning said it was only for one person. As I went up, the elevator started getting smaller and smaller until I was compact. Then it turned out that there were some renovations going on on the top floor, and I was stuck for a little bit until this old couple pulled apart the elevator and got me out.

So, it was time to see the Devil. I started walking around the floor a little bit, it looked like a standard office building, walls were all white and there were accents of wood, loads of meeting rooms too. I found the room where the Devil, as it was the only room occupied, the door was wide open and it was lit with shades of purple, green, and black. So I walk in expecting to see him, but it looked like some generic-ass dude with a flarey costume and a skull mask, which was very underwhelming as you can tell. He explained the rules of visiting him to me, I

had to come up with a question like everyone else did and he would show me an answer/my future. I spent a lot of time at the beach wondering if I should ask about my career or my love life, I'm extremely indecisive and ended up choosing the latter last minute, maybe because I thought it was more important to me (dumb, I know, I should've picked career). He said that's fine, the question can be about anything I want and gestured at this little mountain in front of him. It was like a greyish purple colour and looked like dried lava, and it has a button that you pull out, which I assume is like a pull up to show you your future. He told me to pull the button and I did.

And then I woke up.

and now I'm so frustrated because I'll never know the answer, but also curious. I'm not majorly into dream interpretation, I used to do it a bit more in my teen years or only if a dream freaks me out and I wanna know what it means. But I cannot interpret this at all. Please help, lol.

P.S. I wasn't feeling particularly scared throughout this dream, I was pretty calm the whole time, I kind of thought of it as visiting a funfair attraction. There was a bit of anticipation when going up the lift, but otherwise I was carefree the whole time.

Thanks for reading!

Utopia?-Dystopia?-Tragedy.

I’d love to hear what you guys think about this?

Dream one was me living in some kind of utopia with a massive and strong police presence with surveillance and guards along with higher ranking personnel interacting with the community and making speeches as politicians would. The dream was essentially me taking care of “important paperwork” that was distributed by this massive policing institution that involved me in some way. That’s my only task the entire time. Everything here was bright and pleasant to look at.

Dream two was a lot different. I’m in another version of this utopias world. Instead of a smaller city this is a very large dense place with skyscrapers. I’m avoiding people and any form of surveillance and officers. I enter a city square with a big tower in the center. A lady is waiting for me at the door who appears to be an official of some kind and we go deeper into the structure together. We reach a room that has monitors displaying some kind of person of interest web. I’m going on a rant with how I’m being hunted down by the institution and was framed by them for getting involved in things they didn’t want me in politically. We continue to talk on our next move and the dream ends. Everything here was dark and dreary.

The last dream brings me to a interesting scenario. I am a teen girl with my mother on a highway. My father is up ahead with a rifle and is having a breakdown. I want to stop him from hurting anyone else on the road but my mother tells me to take the car that brought us there to run away together. I do this and after a few seconds of driving I turn back not wanting to abandon my father. I don’t think I actually saw who the mother is once but I do remember the fathers looks. Anyways, I try talking him down but he goes on about how he “has to do this.” And I think he truly believes he has no choice though I have no clue what he means by his statement. A cop arrives but after a long fight the father wins and attempts to take his gear and weapons along with the car before I pick up a gun and aim at him. He looks at me while crying but ignores my pleas and the fact that I’ll shoot him if he doesn’t stop what he’s doing. He sees movement in the distance and before he goes to shoot whoever it is I unload my clip. The damage had no show on the outside but the impacts of the damage seemed to be internal somehow. I drop the gun and run up to him and hold him. He slowly falls and apologized for what happened and that he knows i love him. I say similar words and he dies seconds later. The end.
Everything here was Grey/dull with random colors showing more than others.

Weird dream I had right now

So my family lived inside a skyscraper and I remember that we were cleaning it out. I looked outside the windows and there were lots of birds flying around. My uncle told me that some Solar shit was happening, I forgot what he actually said but the the birds just flew inside the room. There were hawks and crows on the ground, and I grabbed my little brother and went in the room. My mom opened the door and started to grab the birds and try to throw them out. I grabbed a broom to try and sweep them out but I don’t think I was able to. So anyways we went to go get supplies and there was a bottle that had water and ice, and when I poured it out there were cards in it that had the Virgin Mary on them. I woke up right after that.
