Return to the feelings
Our emotions in dreams can help us understand its meaning. Pay attention to how you felt in the dream. Pay attention to how you feel about spiders in dreams. See how you feel about spiders now, in your waking life.
What are possible meanings for dreams of spiders?
Creatures that cause anxiety, such as spiders, snakes, and roaches, can symbolize it. The imagery is used to trigger feelings and emotions relevant to your waking life, so if you have been feeling anxiety, then your dreams are likely to produce imagery that triggers it. Doing so helps process the feelings and expose their source, even provide ways of dealing with them. And if you can overcome an anxiety symbolized as a spider, the benefit can carry over directly into your waking life.
Spiders are known for their webs, associated in dreams with webs that people weave and situations that entangle. Extramarital affairs and business schemes are situations known to spark dreams about webs or spiders.
Fear of spiders can be fodder for dreams. In a dream, a guy at work sees a big spider. A co-worker traps it in a jar and the refraction of the glass makes it look massive. The magnifying effect symbolizes the dreamer’s “blown up” fear of spiders, and the co-worker symbolizes the fearless quality the dreamer needs to gain perspective.
Some spiders are venomous and therefore dangerous, so something like a black widow bite in a dream can describe poisons such as excessive drinking, a poisonous voice in your mind, or a person who is a terrible influence.
However, most dream symbols have an alternate definition, something that makes sense when you step back. Spiders are most closely associated with fear and treachery. But judge from your feelings and reactions, not the overt image. For example, a mother dreams that spiders are all over her house and they completely wrap it in silky webs. Someone enters the house and the spiders wrap the person in silky strands. She’s no fan of spiders, but these spiders make her feel loved and protected.
The dream occurs at a time when she’s thinking through ways of bringing in extra income. She’s the breadwinner in the family and for the past decade has supported her family well. She’s a little worried about how she’s going to bring in extra income, and the dream is showing her that the love and protection she gives her family will carry her through. The spiders represent her protective, motherly instincts, like the mother spider in Charlotte’s Web.

Spider in the corner of the room
So a friend of mine has been experiencing some type of hallucinations right after she wakes up.
A couple weeks ago she woke up and saw a spider in the corner of her room and said that the spider was running towards her. The first time it seemed real and made her panic a little bit but she soon realized that it wasn't real and the spider disappeared.
Now fast forward to today, she saw the same thing again. The alarm clock woke her up from a dream she was having (the dream had nothing to do with spider, she said it was actually a nice dream), and right away she noticed the sspiderin the corner again, moving towards her. This time she quickly realized that it wasn't real and the sspiderdisappeared.
We've been talking about it and can't really find an explanation for this. Curious to see what you guys have to say about this.

I really need to know the meaning of this nightmare
So I had a nightmare where I tried to kill my cat, using the stuff I use to kill spiders at home. So I was like spraying this stuff in her face but then she didn’t die. And I remember feeling so horrible about it and I tried checking up on her but she was running away from me. I woke up and I was so glad it was all a dream, I’d never ever hurt my cat like that. Why could I possibly have this dream?!

Bad omen?
I dreamt I saw a large spider carrying off a dead bird rolled up in a web. I can’t remember anything else about the dream, except that it kind of came out of nowhere by surprise, and I was scared and grossed out. Thoughts?

Spiderweb blocking door and attacked by spiders when I try to get near
First time poster! I’ve had this recurring dream and just want to see if anyone might know what to make of it. Tried google but nothing I found really fits. So in this dream I’m in front of a door, either the door to my house or just a random door. It’s completely blocked off by a giant, thick spider web. Recently in my dream I did manage to get past this web, only to see two spider hanging above. Can’t remember the color of the first one, but the other is blue and black. If I try to get close and open the door they descend and attack my neck. I try to fight them off, but once they land on me I fall over and can’t move. It’s at this point I wake up. Any ideas? Thanks!

does anyone ever SAW a dream in their room ?
I mean, it happens to me at least once a month. i’m still asleep, but with my eyes open. and suddenly, depending on were i am, i see something. it’s most of the time insects. a wall full of spiders, bugs coming out of the ceiling.
I once saw a man, sitting at the end of my bed, and i genuinely thought “that’s it, there is a killer in my room. i’m dead, i mean, he is here, i can’t runaway so i’m just gonna die.” and so i thought “fuck it, i’ll turn on the light before dying, so at least i’ll se what he looks like, i wanna know who killed me” so i jumped on the light which was right next to him, and turned it on, and oh surprise, no one was here. And it wasn’t “a form” like a chair that vaguely looked like him or anything, no no, my mind completely made it up. The last time this happened was two weeks ago and i saw snake above me, crawling at me. I screamed so hard, jumped out of my bed, injured my feet and my mum came in, panicked. i rushed to her, crying and screaming, and so she took me in her bed to sleep with her, and it took me like 5 minutes to stop crying and squirming. And yes, even if it’s dark i see things.
So i wanna know if it ever happened to someone and if yes, tell about it, or if i’m just crazy..?
