Had a dream when I was 10 with a girl I didn’t know in it. We’re dating now.

I’ll try to keep this as short as possible, I have ADHD and my stories turn into ramblings most of the time.

Anyways.

When I was about 10 or so, I had this dream where me and this random girl were playing and just having fun doing kid stuff. Suddenly I got the urge to tell her “this is a dream, and I can leave whenever I want to. Isn’t that cool?”

She replied with something like “I know.”

So I said “watch this” and in the dream, I closed my eyes and opened them and I was awake (in real life).

Didn’t think much of it.

Come this past June, I was in a town about 4 hours from the one I live in, getting my drivers license photo and all that done since COVID restrictions took them out of my town.

I walked out of the DMV there, and a girl is walking her dog. The dog peed on my moms car door, and she apologized.

We talked for a bit and she asked me for my Snapchat so we could talk some more, which was a first for me since I’m a solid 3/10.

Flash forward a few days later, we’ve been talking, we like each other, decide to hang out in person. She makes the drive up to my town to spend the night.

We spent most of the night just talking about random childhood stories, and I went a grabbed my 3rd grade school picture. Then she told me she had a dream when she was younger about how she was hanging out with a boy, then he said “this is a dream” and left.

She pointed out how younger me looked almost like the kid she had a dream about those years ago.

Well I told her my story of the similar incident, and we concluded we were destined to meet.

I think we both are in agreement that it’s just a scary coincidence, but we both also feel very twilight-zone-y about it now and we aren’t sure if it is a coincidence or some weird fate stuff.

Life is weird, kiddos.

I’ll try to keep this as short as possible, I have ADHD and my stories turn into ramblings most of the time.

Anyways.

I had a sex dream about my dad who used to sexually abuse me.

I'm 24 years old. When i was a young girl, my dad used to sexually abuse me and my sister. It was happening in the whole family, my uncles sexually abused their daughters and us, and my father did the same with other girls in the family. It was disgusting, really.
I used to have fights with my dad about that, I stood to him and confronted him a lot and he used to hit me for it until that ended when I was like 15 years old. He also used to physically abuse us and my mother all the time. Our lives when he was around were a fucking nightmare.
I had a little sister, we tried to protect her from all of that for a long time, I'm not sure we did though. When she was 16, she killed herself. She threw herself from the roof and died instantly. I know that my father was the one who caused that.
I'm telling all of that to say that I really hate him for a lot of reasons, not the ones that I can let go. We live without him now and whenever he comes, I don't talk with him and I tried to not even see him. I go out, pretend that i'm sleeping or just ignore him. Htriedes to talk to us but we don't want anything to do with him. My sister and I artriedng to fix what he did to us without any professional help because where I live there isn't that much of good therapists and we can't afford the good ones since we don't have jobs, so..
Today I had a dream that I was having consensual sex with him. I wanted it to happen and I felt good. I don't know what does that mean. When I'm awake, all I think of him is that he is a pathetic, worthless old piece of shit, and If you saw him or dealt with him you would agree. So I'm so confused about that dream.
Normally when I have a weird dream, I talk with my boyfriend about it and hetrieds to help me figure it out. By the way, my boyfriend and I don't have sex because I'm having troubles with my sexual life, and that's very okay by him because he's giving me the time I need beforetriedg to have sex. So now I can't even talk to him about that fucked up shit to help me. Does anybody have any explanation for this or any Idea what is that all about?
Sorry for talking too much but I was tried to give you an idea about the whole situation.

I just had a dream that felt years long, and now I don't know whats real.

Sorry for the confusing title but I just woke up and felt like I needed to post this somewhere to see if anyone has ever had a similar experience to this.

Okay, so my dream started out with me meeting a girl. She was amazing, and we had an instant connection. we started dating and went through the normal highs and lows of a relationship, as all couples do. Overall, our relationship was amazing so when we found out she was pregnant, even though we were young we were both so excited to be parents. Her parents lived nearby and offered to let us move in so they could help with the pregnancy and we could both stay in college. The next nine months seemed to fly by, and the pregnancy seemed easier than it should have been. I chalked it up to the fact that my girlfriend was an amazing strong woman and that her parents were there to help us out.

Now this is when things begin to get weird. I don't know why, but i was not with my girlfriend when she was at the hospital giving birth. I had something else to do even though being with her should have been my first priority. After she returned home she called me to let me know we had a son and to come over immediately. It was odd that I wasn't there in the first place, and even odder that even in the dream, I couldn't remember what I had just been doing. It was almost as if I blacked out, and when I came to, I was in the car driving home to see my new son. I shook it off and told myself I was just nervous to be a dad. As I was driving, I suddenly didn't know where I was. I had lived here for 9 months, but for the life of me I couldn't remember how to get home. It felt like I was driving around lost for hours and then, as if I blacked out again, I was outside my house being greeted by my girlfriends' parents as I walked up to the house. The strange thing was that the house didn't seem familiar, and neither did my girlfriend's parents.

Throughout all of this, I never questioned it and kept telling myself that I was just nervous and I was freaking myself out. Maybe I just needed to sit down for a minute and breath. I never even made it to the house, I just sat down on the steps leading up to the door and tried to calm myself down. I pulled out my phone and had a text message from an unknown number. I assumed it was a text from someone congratulating me and my girlfriend, but when I opened it, it was just an image of three 20 something year old boys who I had never seen. I was confused, but something about the picture seemed oddly familiar, so I just sat there and stared at it. As I sat on the porch staring at the photo the world went silent. I never heard a baby crying and never once did anyone tried to retrieve me from outside to bring me in. It was almost as if everything in the world disappeared besides me and that photo.

I must have spent days staring at that picture, and finally I decided to text the number back and ask who they were and why they sent me that photo. I wrote out the text and hit send and suddenly the picture went blurry. I looked around and nothing in the world seemed real anymore. Nothing seemed familiar. I felt like I was in a place I had never seen before. I looked back down at my phone and the blurriness of the photo began to clear up and I was left looking at a photo of me, my real-life brother, and my real-life best friend, standing in my real-life backyard. I stopped for a second, coming to the realization that everything was over. I immediateltrieded to run into the house to see my son but the second I opened the door to the house, I woke up.

My first instinct when I woke up was the check my phone for the photo but of course it wasn't there. The only thing on my phone was a text from my real girlfriend. he weird thing is, I can no longer picture my dream girlfriend's face, so for all I know, it could have been my real girlfriend. As I finish writing this, the dream is beginning to fade, and I can realize all the things that didn't make sense, but while I was in it, I would have bet anything it was real. I feel as if I just got a few years of my life back, as I woke up the same 22-year-old who went to bed the night bore.

My only regret? I never got to see my son.

Sorry for the confusing title but I just woke up and felt like I needed to post this somewhere to see if anyone has ever had a similar experience to...

I told someone in my dream it was a dream and this happened? Help

This happened half an hour ago. TW// I kind of get molested in the dream

My dream started and it was in a warm, cozy house with a lit fireplace. There were 2 couches. On one couch was my sister curled up in blankets. On the other was my dad just laying there. My sister and I were just chatting about nothing when something possessed me to tell them it was a dream. I realized it was a dream (I’m not sure how, it just happens sometimes) and I wanted to see her reaction so I just... told her. I said “by the way, this is a dream. I’m dreaming and none of this is real.” Immediately after I said that I started suffocating. It felt like my throat was filling up with sand and I was choking trying to scream for help. I trying to yell for my dad for help. He just walked over to me and said. “I’m not your father. This is not your family. You weren’t supposed to say that.” Then, he started molesting me. I screamed and suffocated until I woke up. Upon waking I checked the clock and it was exactly 3 am. Now I’m to scared just to get a sip of water. Can anyone explain what happened?

Lost connection - A dream that lasted years

So some people are going to read this and think I’m crazy, it’s fine though because I’m not sure if I am at this point. I was only asleep for a few hours but my dream lasted for years. I had a life and I fell in love. I’m trying to find him if he’s even real. Unfortunately the dream world was a bit different to this world and was dangerous and he died in it. He wasn’t just my sole mate he was my best friend and we fought together, taking on every challenge that the world threw at us. There was a group of us surviving, a few people I work with were there as well as some people I didn’t know prior to the dream, him and his brother. By the end of the dream I’d lost and mourned him, there were only a few of us left including his brother.

It wasn’t a nightmare, it was the best years of my life somehow and they never even happened. I remember them as memories rather than a dream, it feels like they really happened. I’m just hoping that maybe this is a second chance to find him and maybe I can save him this time. If he’s even real. I mourned his death once, if there’s any chance I can find him in this world I’ll take it. No matter how low the odds because that’s what you do when you’re in love and he’s my love.

So some people are going to read this and think I’m crazy, it’s fine though because I’m not sure if I am at this point. I was only asleep for a few hours but my...
