So I had a dream that I lived in a steam punk reality. I was an actress and married to who looked like my old friend Andrew. In this reality we lived in a huge colonial style home that was somewhere in like a New England environment. Apparently Andrew was older than me (which he is in reality). Apparently I was cheating on him with my current fiancé (he looked skinnier and blonde). And my current fiancé was married at the time in the dream. Things I remember were seeing a flying motorcycle that I drove. I remember we had a toy train that ran all around the office space the ceiling. It was black and steam powered. I remember that I got a call in the dream from someone saying my husband in the dream (friend Andrew) was going to be rushed to the hospital. I remember being down the road somewhere in the woods with the guy I was cheating and watching the ambulance go by. It was as the guy was a neighbor. Very wealthy himself. It was so weird. Someone please help me interpret this!

The Lighthouse

I dreamed that I was an old lady, with a set body, grey hair and thick glasses. I lived alone in white lighthouse on a white coast. I get a feeling it in was England. I remember having a small English style kitchen with high-tea cutlery and an old wooden table. I had recently watered the flowers by the window and outside. And that I was setting tea for guests. I was also afraid of being alone on the higher floors because it was haunted.

I dream about the sea every night

Does anyone know what this could mean? I don’t live near the sea. When I was a kid we would go on family holidays to Cornwall (place near the sea in the UK) every year and spent all our time there at the beach, swimming in the sea etc. It was a big part of my childhood but this was only for about two weeks every year.

No matter what my dream is, the sea features. Sometimes it’s neutral, for example the sea is just there in the background while the dream takes place in a seaside town. Sometimes it’s bad, for example I’m on the beach and a tsunami comes / huge dangerous waves get closer and closer and I have to run away, sometimes I’m swept into them but still manage to escape. Sometimes they’re just strange, for example I had one where me and my family had a pet shark and we rode on his back through the entire ocean.

Does anyone have any idea what this could mean??!? It’s been bugging me for ages now - WHY am I dreaming about the sea every night?

Please please help

Hey guys so i created this throwaway account as I needed to discuss this deeply. So last night I had a dream, allow me to explain the dream and what happened and then the issue and a bit about me.

Right so from what I remember which is not alot I was out on like a school trip ( i am not certain of this i just assume it is because thats what it seemed like) and I met this girl incredibly fun and attractive. We started falling in love and I actually really liked her( more on this later) we did shit like touch each other in places you normally shouldn't and other stuff and all day we were joking around having fun and everyone else was jealous about her and we were sitting next to each other on the buss and stuff. We had a fun day all day it was incredible and we just laughed and giggled and cuddled all day. I then knew it was official when we were walking and she held my hand. We were walking cuddling and laughing i touched her ;) we kissed. I hugged her from behind and we laughed and cuddled all day it was adorable and it actually even now makes me feel so loved. Anyway. There is alot to this story but that is it in short. But there was deep emotionally connection as fucking weird as that sounds.

Right anyway so i wake up just now as for me is 12 am in the UK right and I just have this deep feeling off emptiness over that girl I had a dream over as I feel like she was literally the dream girl I would want in real life. I literally feel like I've just broken up with a girl I have loved for years. The reason why it's so fucking annoying is because i will likely never ever have her in a dream again and I just actually miss that compassion which I felt when we were together in the dream. Hear me out I know it all sounds cringe as fuck but I lack empaphy according to others and rarely show emotion so for me feeling this I have never actually felt this deeply about someone before. I rarely even have relationships as I tend to fuck them up and I'm socially awkward. Is this why I am craving to relive that dream again? Someone help or tell me is this normal? I actually feel so empty inside as it's made me realise how much of a lonely sad prick I am. I am only young, very young and this shit just making me feel empty I want to have that dream again and experience everything I felt with that girl she was amazing. Please help

Tree-Man (wth is going on)

I feel deeply embarrassed by this dream.

At the beginning on the dream I’m being lead down a long hallway, the type that you would see in a castle on a historical fantasy drama, everything was brick and dimly lit, the sun seemed to be setting. I’m led to a door in the middle of the corridor, and let in.

I walk inside the room and walk around in observance, I’m alone. The room is brick with one wall that is entirely a three panel window and convex, which overlooks a beautiful hilly forest. There is a grey and light teal decorated window seat at the window, with books underneath. I’m not eye-level with the forest, but several stories up looking about midway through the trees. I remember thinking to myself that the view is so beautiful I could probably cry, you don’t see nature like this everyday, uninterrupted by humankind.

After what seems like an hour of admiring the view out of the window I run my fingers along the brick wall and then sit on the bed that’s pushed up against the left hand side of the room just behind the door. The bed is platform style with charcoal and brown bedding.

Sitting on the bed I notice a antique, ornate, cheval mirror on the opposite side of the room and I walk over to look into it. I’m wearing a grey sleep shirt nightgown with white writing on in (an image of a cat with “meow”). My hair is shorter than I usually keep it, reaching mid boob, and it’s down and in its natural unruly state, not quite curly, but too aggressive to be wavy. I’m barefoot and just realizing it.

I go back the the window seat and look through the books, I find my favorite, Pride and Prejudice, and begin to read on the bed. Midway through the first chapter I hear a slight knock at the door and someone enters. He doesn’t announce himself, or introduce himself, and he doesn’t look quite right. The first notable thing about his presence is that he smells like like a hiking trail that’s dense with trees when rain begins to fall; it’s clean, welcoming, and earthy. His hair is wavy and to the top of his shoulders, parted in the middle. He has a a muscular build, but slender and tall, just past 6 ft.

I sit up on the bed, slightly alarmed, but curious as I am naturally with most things; he approaches and it’s clear that he is a tree of sorts. The closer he gets the more I can see that he’s in the shape of a man, but made of tree bits, bark, moss, foliage; but still a man. I find it odd that he’s not wearing clothing, but doesn’t appear naked.

While gathering my knees into my arms, still on the bed, he comes and sits down at the edge. I asked him why he’s there, he says “because you’re here”. He speaks with an accent from the UK or Ireland.

When I fully looked at him I felt a cosmic attraction. He reached out for me and put his hand cupping my neck. I pull away and stand up. Walking to face him on the bed things turn primal. I find myself climbing on top of him, he’s embracing me and “we’re off the the races”. Unlike so many other times during sex it feels so intimate and personal. His love is all consuming and though he wasn’t clothed or naked before he feels bare and oddly soft. We are intertwined for quite some time and end up lying down in each other’s arms. He runs his fingers though my hair and then I woke up.

It’s as if he was right there, I just felt him and I could still smell him. I’ve never had a dream that was so vivid before, where I can recall so much detail and it feels so much like it actually happened, that when I woke up I felt like I was in the wrong place.

I feel deeply embarrassed by this dream.
