What are possible meanings for dreams of whales?
The symbolism of a whale in a dream can derive from its immense size, expressed in sayings like “whale of a good time” and “whale of an argument.” Size in a dream is like an adjective that modifies the symbol connected with it. For example, you have huge expectations before meeting a person but end up disappointed afterward. You then dream about looking forward to going to Sea World and seeing the whales, only to get there and find out the exhibit is closed.
Trying to figure out how to transport a whale can symbolize a huge problem. A whale that lands on your head can symbolize a big idea. See: Hugeness
A whale can symbolize feeling overweight or bloated. It can symbolize feeling weighed down.
Whales are associated with spirituality and wisdom. They can dive deep under water, and water is associated with emotion, spirit, and the unconscious mind. In dreams a whale’s journey through the water can symbolize your personal or spiritual journey through life, or your exploration of the unconscious mind. It’s a very positive image and bodes well for your personal development. See: Oceans, Water, Unconscious minds
A baby whale can symbolize a child, especially given that babies emerge from the mother’s womb all wet. See: Giving birth
The languid movements of whales are associated with feelings of tranquility and calm. They’re inspiring and uplifting.
Whales make strong bonds among each other and can symbolize strong bonds between people. For example, a closely knit family can be symbolized as a pod of whales.
Whales can communicate over vast distances using ultrasonic frequencies that are beyond human hearing. That ability to communicate can symbolize a connection you have with a person who is physically distant but personally close. You have a sixth sense.
Being near such a big creature as a whale is inherently dangerous. Therefore, a whale in a dream might symbolize something from which you want to keep your distance.
Rescuing a whale can symbolize saving something about yourself symbolized as the whale. For example, a woman dreams about finding a beached whale and trying to save it. She associates whales with kindness, and what she’s trying to save is her own kindness after a series of incidents made her start feeling jaundiced. Always consider your personal associations when you dream about a whale. See: Rescuing

White Whale - Beluga Whale in dream
Last night I dreamed of a white Beluga whale. I was sitting on what I can only describe as an oversized yoga mat in deep water, not too far from the shore. There were two other people on that same mat that I've never met and can't even describe, maybe a male and a female about my age, idk.
Anyway, it was nighttime and the stars were shining brightly but I could still see through the water. There were two Beluga whale in the water with us but it didn't feel threatening at all. On the contrary, they gave off a playful vibe.
One of the wwhalecame to me and I started petting him. He wanted to play and get closer to me, somehow it made the mat sink down. I instinctively knew that the mat would rise back up in a couple of minutes and didn't panic. The whwhaleept me company until this happened. It was a nice moment. I felt really connected to this whwhalegiving him head scratches and simming together a little. I watched the other whwhaleoo, he was swimming a little further from where we were. Anyway, the mat rose up again, I got on it and made it to shore. Feeling happy and amazed about how cool that just was and wondering why I wasn't scared to death.
I've never dreamed about whwhaleefore and never thought twice about beluga whawhalehen I think whalwhalethink big scarry blue whalwhale

I watch the world die by artificial parasitic nano machines.
It started off innocent, I was walking around a city with strangers I don't know or recognize. Then the world slowly started getting darker, sirens and explosions occurring around me. We snuck into a research building inside the city, here we discovered blood on the walls and bloody drag marks leading to a holding room.
Along the way we discovered transparent silicon like creatures with liquid and inner machine framework in the center. It resembled a toy spiky ball and came in different shapes. It it hated the light and would attempt to flee into darkness as a result of shining a light on them. These were intelligent enough to react which disturbed me.
We walked cautiously through the facility with people walking and acting strange, when we got back to the ground floor we talked to people who were "healed" from these machines. Blind people could see, deaf people could hear. Brain tumors were eaten and replaced.
We decided to leave, and it jumped into the slight future. The buildings are destroyed and now we hide from large black silicon shadow humans. They are entirely black and portray a primitive human but are aggressive and odd.
We decided to kill a nest of these at night, we havevthese grappling devices and swing up trees. We hunt one and manage to take out its head with shots from a revolver. However it regrow a head from its stomach almost instantly. Then it screames in a sort of electric static mixed with a human scream. We hear reinforcements coming from the trees. We run, and see a huge tsunami coming our way and climb a large tree, I get hit by a top wave but manage to hang on.
I hear a whale call from nearby, and see a black whale swimming near us, it has half of its body converted into a transparent skin with machine and cogs controlling its insides. The water recedes after a time, and the sun rises. We head back and I touch one of those machine balls.
It feels like a slight prick, then I feel a wire moving in my hand and it's uncomfortable.a plant sprout grows from the wound and then dies after it starts to go through my arm veins and into my heart. I shoot myself with the revolver. But I only feel the pain. For a second as it repairs me almost instantly. Disappointed I just state to the people I travel with saying. "What's the point of life? Death is inevitable. "
It was a sad dream, but I felt better afterwards.

A shark, the ocean, trees
Had a dream about the ocean recently, I were sitting in the back of an bus, I'm fuzzy on the details here; But they weren't important regardless. We came to a stop in front of a little village and were told to get off and take a break while we waited for the rest to catch up, or something. Went down to the beach and chilled by the waters for a bit. That's when I saw an absolutely humongus fin appear from below the water. Instead of becoming scared, I were excited and moved back from the waters, climbed a tree a little ways back and watched. Up from the waters came an absolutely GIGANTIC white shark. You could mistake this shark with a whale, thats how large it were. The only indication of it being a shark were it's meter long white teeth. As i watched i were fascinated beyond measure as the shark tried to come ashore. I watched it's futile attemps to get ashore, angry as it was with it's mouth wide open, as if ready to swallow anything in front. It continued it's futile attempts to get ashore before going to the side to try it's luck further down. I saw there was some people down there, but didn't see what happened as I left to tell the others about the event.

Odd repeating dream
So last night I kept having almost the same dream over and over but some details would vary. I’m a 26yo female if it helps.
I kept dreaming that I was asleep in my room but it wasn’t in my apartment. At first it was in a colonial farm house that I was renovating and I had a body guard watching over me while my bf wasn’t with me. And someone broke into the house and was breaking and stealing shit. My body guard told me to hide in a certain spot and they would get me when it was clear. I heard some gun shots and within a few minutes my body guard was back with the cops. They said the guy got away but I should be fine. They walked me through out the house so I could see the damage. The thief took the new light bulbs I had bought, smashed all the counters and cabinets that I was going to tear out, stole all my new supplies I needed to renovate, some electronics but left the family China and silver a lone. I then go back to bed in my dream after making sure all the doors and windows were locked and secure. I wake up to the guy being back again! My body guard was able to get him this time but was also shot in the process.
And in between this dream I had a small dream about a beluga whale outside my place when I stood on a balcony and it was doing tricks for me.
Then the robbery dream would start back up but the house would always change. And then it went from bodyguard to my boyfriend. And from boyfriend shooting the robber to me shooting him.
So last night I kept having almost the same dream over and over but some details would vary. I’m a 26yo female if it helps.
