What are possible meanings for dreams of hugeness?
The size of something in a dream can symbolize its importance, prominence, amount. A giant is oversized, so in a dream something like a giant spider can symbolize oversize fear or worry. A giant moon can symbolize a female figure who plays an oversize role in your life, such as a domineering mother figure or girlfriend. It can symbolize a giant attraction to a female or a heavy infatuation. See: The moon
Giant is a modifier of other symbolism. A problem or challenge is portrayed as a giant wave because it’s really big. It’s no ordinary problem. A huge snake can symbolize a huge danger. A giant clock or watch can mean time is especially important.
A giant can be a sign of great admiration, respect, or status. The idea is captured in the phrase “a giant among men.” For example, a graduate student dreams about going up in an elevator with a professor from her program who is greatly respected. The professor in the dream is ten feet tall, and going up with him symbolizes the dreamer’s perception that her fortunes are rising because of her association with that professor.
Think of tall height as a metaphor for “look up to.” The same symbolism can be created by putting a person or object in a raised or upper position. Dreams can be very creative with how they visualize these ideas. For example, a tall person can symbolize “stand up to.” It can symbolize “stand out in a crowd.” It can mean “tall tale.” And the taller the person, the taller the tale.

Can you forget a really disgusting dream?
This may sound like a very stupid question, but it is in fact very serious. Monday morning I had really disgusting dream about pulling out a tooth and a really huge ramification of veins came out with it. I pushed it back with all of the veins then really gross dots started to appear inside my mouth. I had no issue that day, but from Tuesday I'm having random flashes to that dream during the day, no matter how busy I am. It kills my mood, it makes my stomach turn upside down, I lose focus, and the tooth I pulled in the dream starts to itch. I never had a dream so gross that is haunting me even days later.
Anyone else had this problem before? I'm not sure how long it will continue, but I'm hoping that talking about it may help in getting over it faster, this solved other kinds of problems in the past.

I asked God about the meaning of life?
I just had a semi-lucid dream where I was winter hiking with a photographer and my two cousins and we stumbled upon a small hole in the snow/ice that led to an enormous lair/dimension.
A godly statue that was in this lair thing started flashing light and eventually started moving. He made is way up to us; I said hi to him and asked him how he was, and he waved at me peacefully.
I then asked him, “What’s the meaning of life?” He didn’t answer or stop, he just continued walking up to us.
Once he got to us, he slowly started winding up the right side of his body, and he says, “The meaning of life… is THIS (slaps me with his ginormous right hand)”.
Everything around me (and myself) breaks into colourful fractals. It’s like with this one slap, he destroys the entire world.
After a few seconds of falling backward/downward into these small fractals, and hearing screams around me, I awoke in my bed.
Any possible ideas of what this might mean, if anything?! Did I piss off this God when I asked him the meaning of life, or was that the meaning of life?!

I dreamt what happens after I died
This has never happened to me before and its kind of freaking me out. Im wondering if anyone else has experienced this before because nobody in my circles that I asked ever had.
This is the dream:
This was a few nights ago and im still fucked about it.
I was at my childhood home, my parents were really old and frail (75/80’s, they’re actually in their 40’s irl) I felt like i was 24/25 (Im 19). The tv was on and I was cleaning not paying attention when the tv had a really loud alarm. The news guy said that america has fallen and showed huge street fights with fire everywhere and people getting shot and falling by the hundreds. The same dude came back on with another alert and said that the outsider countries that were waiting to attack have just declared war too. The phone rang and I watched my younger brother (18) answer it and hang up. I couldn’t hear him or anything else. He didnt say anything but him and my other brother (17) went upstairs, got a bag and left the house. I knew they got drafted to fight and I knew they didnt say anything bc they weren’t going to come back. My dad got up and hobbled to the door and said he had to protect the family, but I knew he didn’t want to go. He was doing it out of duty, and everyone knew he was too old he would die for certain. My mom was crying and so was my little sister (9) and so was I. Then there was another emergency alarm on the tv to immediately get underground and put something between your teeth and bite down, North Korea was coming. I got my family to go the basement and I was coming behind them, still upstairs when I looked out the window and saw a blinding white light growing and I knew I was going to die right then and I had this huge feeling that I had let it get to that point. It was MY fault that it did.
The light became everything and then it became all dark and my eyes adjusted to see that I was in a moving hallway of sorts. It in space, made out of space, and I could see outside of the area but I was confined to the inside. It was like a black space snake and I was inside riding it like a train. Some of the space scales of the snake worked as doors and I could go into points of time in the future/past, of my life which was a tiny section of it overall and in general too. I looked inside one room but I didn’t go in. It was just trees in a swamp. I opened this other door that had a vibe™️ to it and instantly I was met with this warm yellow glowing light that filled the entire room (which had no walls, it was just the light) and it had the MOST loving feeling ever. It felt like the ultimate motherly warm love ever and I could just melt into it and be happy and safe forever and I was about to step in when the light shifted and formed the face of a lady. The lady opened her eyes and looked directly dead in my eyes and without opening her mouth or anything she said loud and clear: Speak. The sound was in my body and everywhere at the same time.
And then I woke up. And I remained fucked up because I’ve never died in a dream and continued dreaming ever before.
Also my interpretation of the dream was: i have to speak on what ive been meaning and KNOW i need to speak on in order to not let bad things happen. Im trying to write a book and Ive been too scared to start.
This has never happened to me before and its kind of freaking me out. Im wondering if anyone else has experienced this before because nobody in my circles that...

Strange dream last night - chased by a giant hostile Dark Souls boss kind of worm thing. What does it mean?
This dream was in what I like to call “video game perspective” - where I am watching something happen but also controlling a specific “character” in the dream. Sometimes it can feel like this even in first person perspective, where I am somehow disconnected from being the person, even if I am the person, not watching a screen or using a controller.
So in the dream there was this giant worm creature. It wasn’t really a worm, more wormlike, as in it was oblong and had no limbs and wasn’t reptilian enough to be a snake. First it chased me through a corridor (this was in the perspective of a 2d sidescroller video game) trying to I think eat me or at least somehow kill me and I ran from it and it would smash stuff behind me. Sometimes I was really close to being caught by it but I managed to get ahead. Then I got into a chamber place (it was more in first person now) and it was at the bottom of some stairs. When I would go down the stairs there were smaller worm things that would attack me. I felt like I was struggling with fighting the worms and I thought I was not strong or skilled enough to fight the big worm.
When I am awake and I think about the worm it reminds me most of a Dark Souls boss since it was very strong and big and it was sort of eldritch horror-like. Through the whole dream I was scared of the worm and I felt like I was not strong enough to fight it but I was progressing forward anyways. I also was fighting it in some sort of ruin, like ruined stonework everywhere and stuff. The closest I can describe the ruin as is maybe the Arbiter’s Grounds dungeon from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but not as dark.

I think I went to real afterlife place in my dream
When I was a child about 25 years ago I had this dream. That time I had no knowledge of afterlife, death etc.
So in this dream I was standing in this vast flat ground which had I think brown sand bordered by a rocky hill and on the other side was a vast calm river. There was a looong line of people starting beyond the rocky hill and till the river. For a brief moment I walked by the line and saw people's faces. They did not see me, they did not have any expression in their faces and stood in a droopy stance but I could sense some sadness. I don't think the line was moving very quickly. On the river, a single boat was taking one person each time across.
Near the line I saw a gazebo. Some beings took me there. I was not afraid of them because they looked like masked people (from the mask dance at monasteries, you can google mask dance of Sikkim to know what the beings looked like). They all were doing silly things and I was laughing my heart out which made them very happy. Until one tall being with a "Heman" like hair cut was shaking his head in a funny way while I was laughing and I noticed is stick like torso. At that moment I realised that these were not mask men but real creatures and that scared me to wake.
