What are possible meanings for dreams of collective unconscious?
The collective unconscious is a big concept and can only be covered briefly. It originates with Carl Jung, who proposed that the unconscious mind of the individual connects with the unconscious minds of all individuals—those alive today and throughout the history of the human species.
In the words of Victor Daniels, emeritus professor of psychology at Sonoma State University, the collective unconscious is “[t]hat aspect of the unconscious which manifests inherited, universal themes which run through all human life. Inwardly, the whole history of the human race, back to the most primitive times, lives on in us.”
In it are structures called archetypes that are the foundation of the psyche and provide the basic patterns for drives, desires, thoughts, and motivations found in all people. Archetypes are formed by the collective experience of all people. They are powerful psychological forces, and they’re like a river that runs through everyone.
The archetypes of the collective unconscious are the anima in males, and the animus in females. See: Animas, Animuses
The modern conception of the collective unconscious describes it as a sort of internet of the mind, a communication network that passes information without apparent causation. That information usually takes the form of summaries or aggregates, but some theorists have gone as far as to say that the collective unconscious can facilitate communication directly between individuals, and it explains psi or paranormal phenomenon such as telepathy and precognition.
If the collective unconscious truly is an internet of the mind, it means that outside forces and influences can act on you through your dreams.
Read that last sentence again.
This subject is important in relation to dreams because the unconscious mind is where dreams originate, in an archetype that Jung referred to as “the Self.” The Self is the complete picture of the person, including potential. See: Psyches
The collective unconscious is the source of dreams of the utmost importance for you and your life, even for all of humanity, because through it the collective speaks to the individual and drives him or her to action.

Meaning of a strange symbol
So I had this dream when I was 16: surfacing from a bright blue ocean, there was nobody and nothing else, just me and the water. When I looked at my body, I saw this fish symbol tattoed on my elbow in a turquoise color. After that, a woman appeared and helped me to get on a boat, and that's pretty much it. When I woke up, I felt a strong sense of significance, like I knew that I shouldn't forget about this dream. Like it was a life-changing experience. So I rushed to get the tattoo that I saw, not knowing the meaning of it. I'm from a middle-eastern country so it was years later when I learned that this fish is actually a major christian symbol. I had no particular interest in religion or myths, but C. G. Jung and his idea of "collective unconscious" really caught my attention. Maybe anything related to that? So, do you have any thoughts or insights on this dream or symbol? Every comment is much appreciated! <3

I may have had an archetypal dream? Need feedback
In this dream there was some sort of disaster that was about to happen. I was with two fictional characters ( Spike and Faye from Cowboy Bebop). I dont remember the details, but whatever disaster that was going to happen, we were not able to stop. We take for cover in a small building. All of a sudden Spike, runs out of the building heroically as a last ditch effort to stop what was going to happen, and an explosion occurred. He sacrificed himself. I walk outside, and then before me is a black floating sphere, with light radiating from it. Under the sphere are 3 men in black cult-like robes. I wake up....
I haven't been able to stop thinking about this dream since it happened a little over a week ago. I've recently started reading Carl Jung, and diving into studies on our collective unconscious, individuation, and dream interpretation. Was the black sphere an archetype for the self? Was spike the hero archetype? Was this even an archetypal dream? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Conveying my Understanding of the Collective Unconscious -Revelation
I am usually much better at writing my ideas than verbally explaining them. Something I am working on. Was dreaming I was explaining the collective unconscious to someone (it’s currently the primary topic of my dissertation so
I have had times of attempted verbal explanations but none to a great degree of success) in my dream I had no nerves during my explanation and it just flowed naturally. Just after the explanation my alarm went off and woke me. I woke up smiling. Having felt I had overcome a mental block in regards to conveying my rather limited knowledge verbally to a peer. It appears to be the case. Although the knowledge is quite basic, it has been pretty cool being able to talk about something that’s such a major part of my life at the minute. I feel the dream conversation was the cause.
(Sorry for the poor explanation lol) just thought it was cool. Be interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks

I had a dream about Pennywise the clown from the new It movie.
I saw the old one as a kid, but I haven't seen the new one. Finn Wolfhard was there. I don't know who I was, but I was one of the kids, and we were all at Finn's house.
I think I rented a movie from the videostore so we could all watch it, but it was cursed, and Pennywise came on and said that we were his for the night. He was going to come for us all sometime after the movie, and there was nothing we could do about it. And if we survived the night, he would leave us alone, but if he scared us to death, our souls belonged to him.
Stupid Pennywise. Stupid movie that I haven't seen. I think it's because so many people were talking about it that it's in the collective unconscious.
In the dream, a person would be standing in the middle of a room, and he would creep up behind them. You could try not to look, but you'd have to look, and each time, he would be closer, until you could feel him breathing down your neck, and he'd be waving his arms. It was creepy! We were begging Finn's parents or his older sister to come home, but they wouldn't.
