I dreamed I was in love, and woke up with a part of me missing.
I have a co-worker who I get along with extremely well. He is handsome, funny, kind and smart. During our shifts together, we text non-stop when we’re not able to talk, we text outside of work and have great conversations. I’ve never told him how I felt, but I like him.. a lot. Anyways, I had this dream a couple weeks ago. It was him and I, feeding each other food and drinking wine. We were cuddled up on the couch and he gave me a kiss on the forehead, we looked at each other and our eyes met. It felt like the kind of love you see in movies. Nothing else mattered but us at that point in time. The dream jumped to us laying in bed, looking out the window at the sunset with him rubbing my arm and my head burrowed in his chest. But this time when I went to look up at him, I woke up. I immediately realized it was a dream and my heart broke. I haven’t been able to look at him the same because I don’t think he likes me back. My heart aches because I realized if he told me he liked me and wanted to be in a relationship with me, I don’t think I could ever be unhappy again. He makes my stomach flutter and my hands shake. I wish I had the courage to tell him how I feel.

MY STRANGE FANTASY/HORROR/LOVE DREAM (IM 14 YEARS OLD PLEASE DON'T INSULT ME FOR MY AGE)
it begins like that: i was playing games at midnight until someone called me at the phone, it was a girl who asked for help and wanted to meet me at my garden, without thinking, i jumped off the window and landed on the grass, she was there, kinda looked like an astronaut, she had my same age... but she had no body, there wasnt a face behind the helmet, She was just the suit itself... i feel like she looked cute trough... she talked me about a big journey she had to make the next day to another world, she told me that the route was dark and she was afraid of "creatures", she wanted to bring me with her, "to have someone to hug when im scared" she said, i accepted, she gave me her number, and we talked all the night at the phone, she was very shy and didnt want to sleep with me because she was afraid of my drunk parents, i told her i could give her everything i have to make her happy, i could hug her whenever she wanted, i could sacrifice myself for her, and other sweet things i dont remember, and then she said, " [my name] , im in love with you", then i said i wanted to meet and talk at my garden, she told me that she was running thoward my house, i sit on a bench outside and waited for hours, then i saw her, she was running on the street, i screamed to come there and then something horrible happended, she had been run over by a car, and then, i woke up. I felt lonely and guilty for the rest of the day... life sucks.

Why is typing anything in a dream so hard?
So I had an unusually long dream today and
towards the end, I received a message on my phone, but it immediately went away. I tried using the phone to respond to it, but it was glitching etc. Later I decided to text a friend to ask about it and the letters on the keyboard were all messed up and it felt like texting while really drunk. Every word looked like gibberish and autocorrect would mess up the words even more. It was really frustrating, has that happened to anyone else?

false awakening / "don't worry, you're just in a trance"
This happened in January, but I wrote it down as soon as I woke up and I feel that I remember it quite well.
It started as a regular dream, which was quite vague and undefined. I was with friends at a Halloween themed party, and there was something to do with canal boats (I live near a canal). Totally usual dream stuff.
Then I was suddenly on a familiar street, and I saw a man in a suit, a trench coat, and a fedora. He said "you should come with me now." and I think he held out his hand.
As soon as he said that, I "woke up". He was kneeling or sitting on the floor next to my bed and he was talking to me. I can't remember exactly what he said cause at this point everything felt so vague. It was something along the lines of "don't worry, you're just in a trance", and he said something about computers. He said some more things, but I can't remember what. His voice was very calm. The feeling was so strange, I don't know what to compare it to. I imagine it was like being very drunk, except I don't drunk so I can't be certain on the accuracy of that comparison.
Anyone experienced anything similar?

Here's a long one with layers of meaning to be decoded. It involves murder, if that tickles your fancy.
There is a music festival going on in my front yard. I am with my girlfriend and an ex-friend, who we treat as if she was still our friend. We are walking down the street and decide to go into my neighbor's house and spend the night there. There is only one room open, as if it were a motel. There is nothing in there except a large bed and TV placed in a cabinet. The three of us drop off our bags and go back outside to the festival. It is small, but enjoyable. I spot a group of 20-something year olds under a white tent. They are lounging without a care, surrounded by racks of water balloons. My girlfriend tells me to get a water balloon, so I go up to them. I ask and a woman agrees. She takes one off, then pops it into a large fancy bowl and hands it to me saying, "This is called Dragon Fire Bowl." A guy with her warns her, "Are you sure? Even a drop of that could-" Then he cuts off. The liquid is orange like pop. She encourages me to try some. It tastes amazing! I am addicted to it. I go back to my friends and we retire to the little room. I realized all too late that I finished the drink without sharing.
From here on, the dream cuts like scenes in a movie. It is night. Now I am in my real house watching a concert from my window. It is extravagant, with dancers and bright lights. Suddenly the people who gave me the drink appear in the next room. One of them asks, "Are you feeling ok?"
My dream cuts again. I am back in the small room, but no one is in there. I stand in the corner with blurry vision and a sick feeling. I figure I am just drink, nothing to worry about. I realize it is really late at night. My brother and a couple of his friends bust in the room, loud, and probably drink themselves. I mumble something about the drink and Nick is concerned I was poisoned. I assure him it was just pop. They leave and I vomit in my corner.
Next scene, I am still in the same room sitting on the bed with my grandfather. He came to fix the TV. He put on my favorite show, *Supernatural*. We tune in right as an angel is murdering a demon. My grandfather mentions how gruesome the show is. I don't think it's too bad. Suddenly my view becomes more entranced with the show until it is all I see. My view is on the dead demon, who is oozing pink blood from his neck. My sight is like a camera, panning back up to the angel's face. I am the angel. (If you care, the song "Academy Award" by Franz Ferdinand starts playing to set the eerie mood). I can tell I am older than I am in real life, maybe late twenties or early thirties. My hair was cut short and I am wearing nice clothing. With the blade in my hand, I ascend up the stairs. The mansion I am now in was under construction. Sheets hung over a grand window on the stair landing, but a bright white light was breaking through.
I make it to the stop of the long stairway. It is dark here and tinted with a blue filter. I enter a room. A grey pitbull is standing before me, guarding a cradle. The dog growls at me and I realize I am a threat. I move forward without fear and the dog whimpers away. I place my hand on the cradle railing and look down at the baby boy, but from my view I never actually saw the child. I raise my hand with the blade. The dog growls again. I snap my fingers and it rushed out of the room. Before I stab, my side vibrates. It is my phone. I check it and see my girlfriend texted me, "I thought we were going to go to therapy today."
I break from my murderous trance, dropping the blade and holding my spinning head. I realize that was my girlfriend's father downstairs I just killed and that is my son in the cradle. My mind is consumed with darkness, I realize how evil I am. My life is over. How could I do that to my girlfriend?! I seriously think all of this is real. I blink as hard as I can and wake up in a cold sweat.
What does all of that mean? I had this dream a while back, but it has stuck with me as clear as day.
