What are possible meanings for dreams of elbows?
An elbow in a dream can symbolize the need for, or creation of, personal space. It means you need “elbow room,” space to maneuver. “Throwing elbows” means creating space, such as in basketball, when elbows are used to ward off defenders. That ideas connects with the feeling of being hemmed in, or the walls are closing in around you and you need space to breathe.
“Elbow grease,” meaning applying yourself vigorously to a task. Dreaming about breaking an elbow can symbolize something that hinders ability to work or apply yourself.
Elbows are used in waking life to surreptitiously direct attention at something, so in dreams they can be used to subtly point you in the right direction.
In some dream-interpretation traditions, elbows are associated with sexual function, specifically with arousal or “getting worked up.” Thus, injury to an elbow can symbolize sexual dysfunction.
Connectors between parts of the body can have compound symbolism. Elbows connect the upper arm to the forearm. The upper arm can symbolize strength, emotional connection, and hard work, while the forearm can symbolize grasp (the muscles for gripping are located in the forearms) and help with accomplishing tasks. In this sense, an elbow can symbolize the strength to hold on under difficult circumstances, or the need for help with work.
Extend the idea further and a connector can symbolize a person to whom you are connected by bloodline, friendship, or circumstance. It can symbolize a connection in the sense of someone who can help you. Connection can also be used in the sense of emotional connection or attachment.
A bent elbow can symbolize the idea behind the phrase “bent out of shape.” Extend the idea further and a bent elbow can symbolize ability to adapt.

Holy shite I just had a scary dream
The wording might get confusing. The nightmare started as me asleep in bed within the dream, dreaming. In that dream I opened up the curtains in my room and there was a building across from me. In one of the windows there was a dark figure of a women in a dress. This scared the shit out of me and I woke up except I was still in the actual dream I was having. In this dream I had sleep paralysis so I couldn’t move at all. Suddenly I felt this weird sensation of someone scratching the back of my neck and pushing my head into the pillow. It was terrible and I wanted to wake up so bad. Suddenly I was released from the paralysis and jolted up to get out of the room. At this point I’m still dreaming though and I reached for the door and it was locked. I turned around and theres a women in in a white dress with white face paint staring at me and I elbowed her in the face. Then suddenly it was actually my mom in the dream who was just trying to wake me up. Then I wake up for real sweating my ass off all shook. Jesus that was a horrible dream.

I had a dream that I was deformed
I had a dream that at some point I had this horrible ugly bat like creature that deformed like grew and was flesh melded out of the top of my head. It had wings that spanned really wide out but were useless and when folded up reached down to my elbows. It wasn't alive and it's eyes were dead but it would move sometimes without my will. It also had a rat like tail that reached all the way down to my thighs and could wrap around me. It was so ugly and awful to look at in the mirror that it made me throw up whenever I saw it and my disfigured face. The friends and family I had would look at me in horror and then try to act normal but I started realizing that they were spending less and less time with me until I barely saw them at all.
The dream felt so long and was just full of dread I guess that kept getting worse until I woke up (I felt sick for a bit after waking too until the details faded).
Anyway any interpretations?

I need some help figuring out this disturbing dream...
I debated posting this, but honestly this dream left me so disturbed and Google is useless in helping me decipher what it all meant.
Last night I dreamt that my right arm, from my elbow to my shoulder, became covered in these strange growths. They were these bright red scab-looking spots, of different sizes. They didn’t hurt, and I could definitely scrape them off, but I knew they were growing out of my skin. The most disturbing part were the bigger ones growing on my shoulder—those kept growing and growing like mushrooms, until they actually resembled male genitalia. That’s right, I had three to four red rockets growing out of my shoulder and I couldn’t get them off.
I woke up when my alarm went off for work, but I can’t get this weird dream out of my head. Any of you dream interpreters and psychoanalysts put there, can you help me figure out what this weird dream is telling me?

I had an extremely weird dream/sleep paralysis experience.
(Sorry that this will be long but it’s necessary.)
To preface, this weird thing happens kind of frequently that I guess is a form of sleep paralysis. I feel like I can’t move or open my eyes, as if there’s magnets pulling everything down. I eventually am able to, then I realize that I just imagined it, then snap back into my still state and try again. Eventually I just randomly wake up after trying to move enough.
This time lasted a lot longer than usual. I kept going through the cycle of fake-moving a little more and more until I eventually imagined I had made it to my bathroom. I was leaning with my elbows on my sink trying to peel open my eyes, as they always feel like they’re glued shut. I persisted because it kept working a slight amount and I could see myself in the mirror in glimpses, but they’d snap back shut. Keep in mind that I still knew this wasn’t technically real, but the paralysis/dream had been going on for so long that I was desperate and convinced myself that if I managed to open my eyes in the dream that they would in real life for some reason.
All of a sudden, though my eyes were still in their gluey, blurry state, I could see everything. I could see in front, behind, underneath, and above myself all at once. Everything looked vividly like my bathroom as is, except there was this man behind me out of view in the mirror. He didn’t just look like a normal person, though. He looked like some kind of earlier form of human, like a Neanderthal or homo erectus. Except he wasn’t super hairy or anything. It was like a Neanderthal bone structure wrapped in modern human features such as smooth light skin, pinkish lips, a shaved head, and striking light blue eyes. I asked who he was and he just said that he was there to take me. Except it wasn’t english. It was unlike any language I’ve ever heard, but I understood. I asked what he meant and he said “they” want me to leave and work for “them”, as I have a greater potential and purpose than to be “just a human”. I asked if I’m dead. He said that my body is still alive and asleep- that when I go with him something will inhabit my body and fill my place until my body dies. I said I’m not going to just trust him nor just leave my life behind in the hands of something that isn’t me. That I wasn’t going to leave my partner. He started seeming a little agitated and said that my human life is infinitely less significant than this, and that my partner is just a person and I don’t have to be. I said that because I am still “just a person”, my life matters a lot to me and I feel like my relationship is very significant. He said that yes, I would be leaving a soul bond, but that my purpose is still much greater. I asked him if that means soulmates are real. He said that that’s a silly word but basically yes, but “we” can see it and “you(humans)” can’t. He was frustrated at this point. As if the things I was saying and asking him were stupid and trivial. As if I had just seriously asked him if the sky is blue. He snapped back into the topic of me going with him, asking if I was coming or not and that this shouldn’t be hard to agree to. That individual human life is frail and fleeting and I am being given the rare choice to become what humans would consider a deity. He was kind of yelling at this point. I yell back at him that I have no reason to blindly trust him and that I’m not going to abandon all I know on a leap of faith and to leave some thing in charge of my interpersonal relationships. He absolutely booms out that I’ll regret this. Then I woke up.
This has been fucking with me for hours, way more than any dream I’ve ever had. I think I might’ve genuinely astral projected or something. I’m posting this to that sub too. I’m really hoping that someone will take the time to read this and let me know their thoughts or if they have had a similar experience.

Had a dream I was drowning...
I was swimming through this under water temple/cavern without any sort of breathing apparatus, just kind of a free dive. There was fish that I somehow knew where deadly if they bit me if I got too close. I came to this hole in the wall that lead to a bigger room and I tried squeezing through but couldn't.
One diver was able to slip through but I'm a big fella and I couldn't get my elbows through with my head it was so small. The other diver with me said I have to go through I don't have enough oxygen to go back the way we came and I'll die if I don't go through the hole. I try squeezing again and it is even harder the second time. I was trying to squeeze through without any luck and thinking I'm gonna die.
I jolted out of the dream and just breathed for like 5 minutes before going back to sleep.
