Have you ever woken up from a dream completely depressed, like you lost something precious to you?
Last night, I’m pretty sure I had the saddest dream ever.
It was about a badger I had found digging holes in the ground. I went over to get a closer look, but I was spotted. Much to my surprise, he ran over to me, maybe knowing I intended no harm. He let me rub his belly and pet him, and he was so cute. We played around for hours, until the sun got dark, and he started leading me towards a small hut that was lit up. There was an old man outside the hut cutting wood, he paid us no mind. The badger then ran over to man, and nuzzling up against his leg. He appeared to be sad. The man did nothing, he just stood there, and continued his steady rhythm of chopping wood. After a few seconds he stopped. I could see him
Slowly turn towards me. He stared at me, smiled, and slowly faded away, along with most of the hut. The badger came back, and stood on its hind legs next to me, looking at the remainder of the hut. It was dark now, but I could make out what appeared to be at least part of what was previously a hut. The hut was black, and there were signs of a fire everywhere. The badger ran out to the middle of the rubble and began digging, revealing a rotten corpse of what I assume was the old man. It was not fresh, but had not rotted so bad to be more than a few weeks old. The badger found the mans hand, and licked it, a gesture of sorrow and longing. The badger then also looked at me. And vanished.
As I saw the poor badger vanish, it felt like I was physically hurt. Somewhere deep in my heart, a hole had sprouted open. I knew that I could never see that funny playful badger again. He had brought me to the hut to show me a true tragedy, he and his owner had been caught in a house fire and died.
Suddenly, I realized that I was also fading, and could myself become more and more transparent. When I next opened my eyes, all I saw was my bedroom. But my poor friend the badger, was not forgotten.

I just had the most terrifying nightmare I've ever experienced. Advice needed
Hi, I'm extremely shaken about a dream or a vision I just had I have no idea what it was. I had just gotten back from a party and I was high and drunk, and I was getting ready to go to bed when I got up to turn the light and I completely blacked out. I then had the most terrifying and real nightmare I've ever had.
It was complete darkness, darker than darkness, like a complete endless abyss of it. The I started to see a fog that expanded and expanded and then I saw something terrifying. A demon, or something I can't even begin to describe what it was; its faces were changing constantly, it's eyes were the only light source, like looking into the sun, and it's voice, like from the bottom of hell.
The fear I felt was unreal, like there was no possible hope of happiness ever again, pure absolute terror. It then started chanting several of my friends names including me, over and over.
This felt like real life, like I had never even passed out, not had I ever had a dream that felt like I was genuinely there.
I asked what it meant, what my friends names meant and it replied with the most bizzare answer that sent chills down my spine - "if you had seen the face of God, no answer could satisfy you".
I have absolutely no idea what that even means but it feels like it has scarred me. Then I saw a bunch of things, some things I can't even remember if I tried, but one thing I saw was a train crash, and I also got a message saying "Peru", though I didn't really hear it I just felt it.
And then I woke up on my floor, completely and utterly terrified. I have NO Idea what just happened but I feel like I NEED to find out what it was, I feel like I need to find out what it meant, like I need to go to the mountains to speak to Holy men or monks or something to find out what the hell it meant. I can't stop thinking about it.
Does anyone have any idea what it could've meant? Because I'm too scared to try and get to sleep at this point, I feel like I must find out what it meant.
I’ve left a link of a drawing of the demon figure I made when I came round.

I sometimes dream about seeing a dim Sun that changes size and luminosity. What could this mean?
My dream goes like this:
I'm at my parent's house. I walk into the kitchen and through a window I see the Sun, but it's like nighttime. The Sun is just like a bright star, bigger than others but very dim. It's so dim I can see the surface of it.
Then It gets bigger and natural - the sky turns blue. Then it gets dim and small again. This frightens me a lot, I feel like everything is going to end. Everything I know it's going to die because of the dim sun. I cry.
Then the Sun becomes bigger than usual. I can still see the surface of it. I am petrified by it. I hear a loud sound like roaring horns and people screaming.
The Sun then turns normal again. I say to my mum: << It's over now >> but I'm still frightened.
Then the sun becomes bigger and bigger, brighter, it fills the sky. I'm in absolute terror and I know everything is going to die and vanish in seconds.
Then I wake up in tears and sweat.

I fell in love in a dream, she doesn't exist but I still miss her.
This happened 2 months ago but it's still amazingly vivid. She was not what I would normally consider my dream girl (pun inteneded) and yet there she was.
I was going through a major depressive episode at the time. At first realizing it was a dream bummed me out, however the feeling of being THAT in love nearly single handedly brought me out of it. even if it was all fake.
I was living at my grandparents house in rural arkansas as I did a lot throughout my teenage years. However that where the familiarity with the setting ended.
I spent the early part of the day working on my motorcycle (I dont own a motorcycle lol) I was having some problems with the engine(after waking up I realised it was the spark plug). but despite these problem I was intent on riding it. I geared up and set off on a cruise.
After what was both simultaneously hours and seconds I broke down on the side of the road, with a dead phone. A helmeted biker drives up to me and says their brother is a mechanic and can help me out. I accept their offer and they tow me to their house while I ride on the back of their motercycle(how you tow a bike with a bike is a mystery to me).
It was at this point I realised the biker was female while holding onto her. She was wearing biker leathers and a helmet so at first so I hadn't noticed.
She takes me up a nearby "mountain" that I had assumed was miles away but we somehow got there in a few minutes of curvy roads. I meet her brother he takes the bike to the garage and says it will be ready tomorrow. This is when she finally removes her helmet.
She was middle eastern, with soft chestnut brown hair that reached her lower back. Her face is the only thing that is a little blurry but I remember her eyes were a shade of hazel eyes that seemed to both reflect and capture the sun.
Her body was tall and lean, im a little over 6'0 but she was close to my height. About 5'10 if I had to guess. While she was certainly lean she wasn't scrawny. Her hips still found a way to curve into a way that made it near impossible to resist placing my hands. At first glance she looked frail and yet She had am impressive array of muscles. Like a track and field athlete.I wouldn't really describe her as sexy or hot. She was magnetic, elegant, like some kind of desert royalty.
All that to say she was attractive. But love isn't born from the outside. Her personality was amazing. She was tomboyish in nature. Often covered in oil from her bike or cuts from exploring the mountains. And yet she didn't sacrifice all of her femininity. And my god was she funny. Is it narcissistic to laugh in a dream. That's just me laughing at my own jokes. But I digress. We were a good match
I can't remember why but I ended up living with her for a few months. We spent a lot of time working on bikes and cars together. Watching movies in her living room. Playing outside. Until eventually it became a romantic relationship. We went on motercycle rides, picnics, and all sorts of dates.
I was so happy that I cant even describe it without feeling like my chest will explode.
We were in the middle of talking, cuddling on the couch just enjoying eachothers company when my alarm went off.
After coming to my senses I felt a heartbreak so real that saying it was a dream doesn't seem possible.
I've never been in any relationship that's worth mentioning. I've never been in love. I'm not sure how close that was to the real thing but I lm very happy and grateful to have experiences even this faux love.
