Return to the feelings
Our emotions in dreams can help us understand its meaning. Pay attention to how you felt in the dream. Pay attention to how you feel about deserts in dreams. See how you feel about deserts now, in your waking life.
What are possible meanings for dreams of deserts?
Dreaming about a desert can indicate a barren, dry, or empty time of life. The imagery captures how you feel or what you perceive. Your life, job, or relationships lack meaning or zest.
For example, a woman dreams about walking endlessly in a barren wasteland. She’s alone, and the only landmarks appear far away. For protection from the sun she puts on her husband’s favorite baseball cap, but for some reason it lacks a visor and ends up looking like a dunce cap on her head.
Walking alone in the desert sums up how she feels in her loveless marriage. Her husband is distant emotionally, as symbolized by the landmarks distant on the horizon. Putting on her husband’s baseball cap is a way of symbolizing thinking about her marriage to him. A hat or cap is worn on the head, and thoughts are associated with the head. The visor, which is supposed to protect her from the sun, is missing, because what she’s really trying to protect herself from is thinking too deeply about what’s missing from her marriage. It only makes her miserable. And the dunce cap refers to her feeling that she must be stupid to continue trudging forward in a marriage that’s making her miserable.
Being lost or alone in a desert can have similar symbolism to being lost in a forest or wilderness. See: Forests, Wilderness
Water is closely associated with emotion, so a dry dream environment can be a metaphor for lack of feelings and emotions. See: Water
Barren is a word used to describe being childless or unable to conceive.
An endless desert can symbolize the sense that a bad situation has no end.
A desert is a great setting to connect with “feeling the heat.” A situation has become tense or risky, or you can no longer stand it, such as in the example above where a desert symbolizes a loveless marriage. See: Heat
For people who have spent time in deserts, dreaming about them can be associated with that experience. For example, soldiers who served in Iraq might dream about the desert as a reference to that war.

Dreaming about stealing my dream car
I took a nap today and dreamt that I had stolen my dream car from someone (at least, I can only assume it was stolen as I did not have a license and was taking extra procaution not to damage it so that I could return it later without anyone noticing)
I dreamt that I drove this car into a car parkThe park was pretty much deserted excuse for a group of people (which was odd considering the car park was for a pretty popular chain resturant).
I parked and went out to talk to talk to them and ask where everyone was, which apparently wasn't a smart move as these people were immediately quite hostile towards me, yelling and waving their guns.
I rushed back to the car and when I entered, I quickly drove out of the car park while they shot at me. I was completely unharmed, but the car was no longer in a returnable state due to the various bullet holes.
The dream then cut to me driving fast down the motorway. I was on the run from those people with guns and from the law, but I wasn't unhappy about it. If anything I felt like I was finally getting what I wanted in life. I got the car, and I had my freedom and so nothing else mattered to me.
I haven't really got a clue what this means in the context of my waking life but I'm open to hearing any suggestions

Dream riiipe with symbolism. Having trouble deciphering. Seems important.
I had a dream that I was with my boyfriend and a random female character from a show. We were adventure hiking in Madagascar -- seemed we were in the jungle. We came up a steep rock drop and they geared up with ropes and harnesses to lower themselves down it. I was excited, thinking we'd be rock climbing (I like climbing) but when I realized we were just navigating down, I ignored safety and kind of recklessly leapt my way down. I remember doing dangerous balancing acts and the like, thinking "is this a good idea? Am I going to die?".
Then we entered this ancient temple. It was kind of buried in sand, I think, but we found an entrance. Inside there was this cool library that struck me as abandoned. Weird it struck me as abandoned as overall we were in some lost-to-time ancient structure. I remember the other two were wandering the library and this one, out of place book on a pedestal caught my eye. It looked pretty new age and I debated going up to it but instead looked past the library to find the inside of the structure. There were beautiful green, greek-style pillars and it seemed a massive room that went a long way down. I tried to draw the others attention to it, like, "screw the library!". The random woman character at that point was sat on a couch glued to her phone. I remember kind of losing it on her. "Do you see this shit?! This is no time to be absorbed in your stupid phone. There's a whole life to live out here!". Anyway, my boyfriend and I ended up leaving her there and continued on.
As we were exiting the temple out the other side, I presume, there was a desert scene. We came upon some fellow adventure hikers that looked marine-ish. We were all geared up, heavy packs and the like. I don't remember being perturbed by the rough conditions -- I like for things to be difficult. Once in the desert thought I could see, way up on this impossible looking kind of hill in the distance, that there was this huge madagascar-like tree that I was under the impression we were heading towards. Its roots were visible to me somehow, through this narrow kind of hill it stood atop of.
While in the desert we came across the marine-ish characters camping in the distance. They said something like, "this is what it's about. Watching you kids become good at hiking.".
We continued on until we came upon a glacial river. The landscape obviously changed accordingly. At this point I recalled, as my boyfriend tried to show me how to navigate over this thin ice without breaking it, that I'd had this dream before. The last time, I broke the ice and he got mad at me. This time, I guess I succeeded: I got over the thin ice and delved into icy water, but was blown downstream by the current. He had to come after me and catch me with his hand. This is around where the dream ended.
This seems utterly fucking packed with significant symbolism. ?????? Ideas very welcomed.

Really scary dream of watching a very scary horror movie called Mexican Trud Trash
The was name of the movie was Mexican Trud Trash The Woman That Reveals Her Face To You.
I’m watching a very weird but scary horror movie. It starts off with the main character a white college student girl. She is in the college cafeteria and she wants to get a drink of water but is told by her friend that there’s a teacher there that’s goes bat shit insane if she sees someone spill a drink in the cafeteria.
The girl goes over to the water cooler machine and gets a cup. She starts to fill it. That grumpy teacher notices and walks over and stares at the girl to make shore she dose not spill any water. The teacher is a middle aged black woman with short wavy black hair. The girl accidentally spills a little drop of water and the teacher starts to bitch at her about it. The girl gets pissed off and throws the cup of water over that teacher head.
The anger and shock on the teachers face is unbelievable she’s about to shout and scream then suddenly nothing. She disappears. The girl is shocked and really confused. She slowly walks away from the water cooler and suddenly the flooting face of that teacher appears in front of her screaming and shouting for just like 3 seconds. It scares the life out of her and me because I’m watching this like I’m watching a movie.
Side note When The flooting face appears it looks like a bad photoshop of a flooting face lol. Anyway the girl realises that some sort of time warp or glitch in time has happened with that grumpy teacher And now at random the face of that teacher will appear to her like a jumpscare screaming and Shouting at her and screaming her bad. The girl starts to cry And is freaking out. A few minutes pass then the face appears again jump scaring me and her.
I get really stressed out and scared and I don’t want to watch anymore but because it’s a dream I can’t stop watching and I have to keep watching this weird scary horror movie. I then find out that the face will get more horrible and might even get zombie looking the more it appears. Knowing that freaks me out even more and the amount of stress and anxiety I feel is unreal. The face appears agein at random and every time I’m Anticipating it I get the worst feeling of fear and dread it’s horrible I just wanted it to stop. It was like torture but with fear.
The scene changes to the girl trying to live her life but can’t properly because that face keeps appearing and scaring the crap out of her and me. She is now a mess and freaked out. Also now she is really fat for some reason. The girl is now in a field that is covered in moon dust and moon rocks.
She is with a guy who’s also really obese. They talk to each other and are friends. She tells him to put this black belt on. It’s a experimental device she made to make the face appear to someone else and not her. She gives her friend a hug then puts the belt on him. The face appears screaming again and scaring the crap out of me and the obese guy. The fat guy falls over breathing heavily and tells the girl that the fear has made him go into labour.
He’s trying to have a baby and is now in pain breathing fast. The girl suddenly stick her hand up his ass and pulls out a black baby with full adult teeth and I swear I remember it saying something. The scene changes to that girl in a abandoned bar in a desert. The bar is Infested with snakes. I’m now watching from a third person prospective. Now here comes the movie twist.
It turns out that the girl was bitten by a black Anaconda snake while she was at a bar in a desert I think it was in Mexico. And the venom was causing her to have horrible scary Hallucinations before she dies. The girl slowly walks out of the bar and into the desert the face keeps randomly appearing and screaming I get so scared that I close my eyes. The face appears agein and it scared me so bad that I woke up in fear with my heart pounding fast and breathing heavily.
What caused this horrible weird dream and what could it mean would appreciate any comments thanks.
Also I’m a guy who’s 21. So not sure why I was watching this from a college girls prospective.

I can’t remember who I was with, but I think it was some of my family. We were skydiving and when we were on the plane we couldn’t see the ground. We all jumped out, but falling took forever. It felt like an hour to fall, but usually, it only takes a few minutes. We finally saw land. There was a road leading to a desert and the right of us was a big cliff. The road was beaten up with cracks and potholes. At the bottom of the big cliff was a giant rain forest and across from it was a rocky wall leading up. Once we got close enough we pulled our parachutes and waited. We were all going to the desert. The wind started to pick up and I got drifted off from my family. I was a lot higher than them because of the wind pushing me up and away. My heart dropped, but calmed down instantly and said “listen to your heart, not your head”. I remember there was a cliff on the other side of the forest so I tried going for that because I didn’t want to land in the rainforest. I got close enough and I couldn’t make it. The only way down was the rainforest. Once I got down it was very warm. It was kind of relaxing. I soon found a tree stand with an empty toolbox. I went up there to stay away from snakes and all that. Once I got up there I noticed an ocelot on the ground looking at me. We both looked at each other and we gained each other’s trust. I went down to pet the ocelot and he started to speak to me. He wasn’t speaking physically but in my head. I could understand him. I can’t remember his voice. I found a map of the place we were at on the rocky cliffside. The title of the map was “The Truth.” He showed me around and once we got deeper into the rainforest people were working. I can’t remember what they were working on, but they looked like businessmen and women walking around doing work that wasn’t business work. It was like they were slaves and had no control. The ocelot said to me “that’s what reality is”. One man that was working was trying to get me to work, but I refused. We both walked off and I remember on the map there was a spot that has red leaves and was in a circle. I found the place I remembered about 5 minutes away from the workplace. The ocelot looked worried and I asked “what’s wrong” and he said, “no one had made it this far. The ones who’ve didn’t make it are stuck in the trap back there”. We got to the place and it was beautiful. It had tall trees with red leaves surrounding the shallow water in the middle. The red leaves were floating on top of the water. In the middle was a golden man floating and meditating. I walked closer and stared at the man for a few minutes. I looked around and the ocelot was gone. I was thinking something was going to happen. This is where I knew I was in a dream so now I was lucid dreaming. I could ask any questions I wanted. So I asked the man “who are you” he said he was a monk”. I then asked “where am I” and then he said, “that’s classified, my friend…”. Then I woke up.

I had a dream about a movie that doesn’t exist
I had a dream last night about a movie that I saw with my friends and in my dream I was positive that I knew the movie, what characters were in the movie and where it took place. But that movie doesn’t exist. Anyway I start on earth and I’m fighting in a war it seems like. I eventually die and I wake up in a desert place with a huge tent that I’m walking towards and when I arrived there I walked in and someone said what’s your book number and I said #0937 out of no where and they questioned if my name was AJ (not my name) and I said yes, so they let me in and everyone that I had known was in this tent except for one person, my best friend. so I yelled out “has anyone seen #0378?” Which was his book number. And no one said anything. They were sitting in a circle and someone had me walk around the circle as in a greeting or something and I sat down by people I had actually known for the past couple of years When I sat down I realized that I had a compass in my hand and I looked at it and I passed out for some reason and I saw a cockroach eating a bunch of mosquitoes (don’t ask because i have no idea) and when the cockroach finally ate all of them I randomly said “was that the over pass?” And I woke up and everyone was gone except for me. I walked out of the tent and there was someone there to explain what was happening. I asked what was happening and the solar eclipse was happening but the moon was a lot smaller than the sun (from where ever I was). And there was a big storm coming through and it came my way and my best friend came out if the tent and said to come with him. He led me to a tower and it was very rusty and broken. So we started climbing and we eventually got to the top where a trap door was and we climbed through. Then we heard 2 girls talking at the same time (like the shining but different people) in a room that was down the hall. That when I said “oh yeah this is the movie me and my friend saw but it was at midnight so we didn’t finish the movie until 3 am” which happened in real life and it was with infinity war. Right as we were going into the room I woke up. I was so confident that the movie existed that I looked up every top movies of 2019 and 2018 to see if the movie I “watched” and knew existed and it doesn’t but I still think it does. There were a lot more details but It would be like reading a book. Sorry if this was difficult to read/understand because I’m not good at writing stuff down.
