What are possible meanings for dreams of universities?
As a place of learning, a university has many possibilities for symbolism in a dream, related to learning, teaching, and intelligence. It is an academic setting, but dreams expand the idea beyond book learning and academics to include learning about yourself, life, people, and other subjects. These possibilities are covered in entries for Classroom, College, School, Student, Teacher.
A university dream setting can be used to create symbolism based on related associations. Universities are associated with getting ahead in life. People with a university degree are supposed to rise higher, have more opportunity, and earn more income. However, that’s not always the case. You might dream about being in a university setting because you have or haven’t been as successful as you like—in your career, life, relationships, social standing.
Universities are associated with recognition for intelligence and achievement, as well as for praise and criticism. The university is an environment that exposes what people are made of, how smart they are, and what they’re willing to do to get ahead.
You can be reminded of a university when working on something such as an analysis at work or research for a home to buy. The process and work are similar to how you would research a paper for school.
A university can symbolize thinking long and hard, with depth, analysis, and strategy. Universities are where the toughest questions are answered, and subjects are tackled.
Symbolism can be created based on experiences outside the classroom and the overall university atmosphere. For example, a big part of university life for some people revolves around friends and socializing. It’s a time of freedom. Even if you never set foot on a university campus or your experience was different, the associations can be used to create symbolism. See: Campuses
The word “university” can be read as two words fused into one, “universe” and “city.” That symbolism has appeared in dreams about a “cosmic university,” as big as a major city, where all subjects are studied, including math and philosophy at higher levels than are presently known on Earth, and the brightest minds in the universe gather.

Weird dream, please help interpret!!
Hey everyone! I was hoping for some help interpreting a weird dream I had last night...
My dream started out at a university, I was in a office area with many cubicles. I was introduced to an attractive doctor and was talking for a bit. I then was introduced to his twin brother whom is also a doctor and we hit it off. The other twin seemed more personable and very intelligent. I found he spoke Spanish and we have a lot in common. The other twin and I fell in love and start to date. My dream then moves to my house except everything looks bigger. The twin I am in love with is in a cult? of Satan and they are having a ceremony in my house in the basement at the base of the stairs... the twin and others are going to be joined to the cult by drinking from a caldron of liquid in the basement. There are hooded people everywhere. The twin and the others joining the cult are at the top of the stairs lined up and I am begging him not to do it because he could not handle it and he will turn evil and that I will go instead of him. The others have already made it down the stairs and I have managed to prevent him from drinking from the cauldron. Then some invisible force pulls me down the stairs and I am forced to take my loves place in line to drink from the cauldron. As I am waiting I see Satan sitting on his thrown and one of the hooded people make it known that I am to be his wife. (I don’t want to be... I want to marry my boyfriend) then it is my turn to drink from the cauldron, you must drink a certain amount measured by a chalice or else the ritual is not complete.. I drank a bit from the chalice and then accidentally dropped the chalice into a fire pit. I then had to drink from the cauldron itself in finish the ceremony. Of course I didn’t know exactly how much to drink, so I had to drink a lot of it to ensure this would be over. As I drank from the cauldron something in my head said to me that this will give you knowledge, intelligence and power. My dream then moved to a dorm bedroom like area where I am trying to tell my boyfriend about how I was to be Satan’s wife and that we had to get married to prevent this. Unfortunately, a teacher ( who is wearing a cloak) walks in and interrupts our conversation and I didn’t get to tell my boyfriend.
Some backstory:
I am not in university currently but was thinking of going back.
I am in the healthcare field
I do not speak Spanish

Dreamt of myself back to school and going around in circles
Hi all, so there's quite a bit to unpack here but I've been out of school for about 11 years (I have even completed university already) but somehow I just dreamt of myself back in school last night. It wasn't a typical classroom setting - I kept going around walking outside classrooms, and I even saw my guy whom I'm going through a no contact situation with right now doing weird sh*t in a corner. He looked like exactly how he did in his high school days, especially that long and unkempt hairstyle (We did not know each other until end of 2019, but he has many old photos of him on his Facebook).
Something else in the dream that was vivid and kept appearing was a baseball bat. I dreamt of myself holding on to it and trying to hit/smash something, and my boyfriend was fiddling with it too.
Wondering if this has something to do with our seperation. I appreciate any insight or info, thanks! xx

Intense eye-contact in dream with a girl I used to know
There's a girl I used to speak to who I liked very much and she felt similar. Though for a reason I'll explain soon we knew we could never be together. I still think of her often, but she seems to be on my mind now a lot more now that I'm home from university and I know she's close by in my home town. I think of her a lot lately, everyday if you want the truth. Though I don't think she thinks of me as much as I her.
I had a dream in which we sat on a park bench table, her on one side, me on the other. There were lots of people around, the bench/table was full. Her ex-boyfriend and who is also my old friend sat next to me. I tried to avoid looking at her throughout the whole dream and she seemed to also be avoiding looking at me, though I caught her glance a few times. Then I saw her outright staring at me. It was crazy. I gave up attempting not to look at her and looked back up and I see she's staring at me like no-one's ever stared at me before. The most intense stare I've ever seen. I couldn't decipher her expression. I don't know if it was sympathy for the hard times she knew I went through, whether it was a look of longing for me, whether it was the look when you get when someone wants to fuck you. It was just an expression of pure intense emotion like I'd never seen before. I dreamt this about a week ago and can't stop thinking about it. I can't describe it properly with words. It was crazy. and it's been on my mind a hell of a lot.
After that, a huge crowd of people who she knows and people I don't like took me away. One guy grabbed me by the arm real hard and took me away across the field to somewhere. That's all I remember.
There's no point me talking to her because whatever we had is gone, it's a lost cause and I know she won't feel the same now. Maybe it's just a dream and means nothing. But I just can't stop thinking about that stare. It felt too real.
What do you think?

Just woke up from the worst nightmare of my life.
I just woken up with my heart racing, from having the worst nightmare of my life, ever.
I dreamt about three people that murdered my family in a really sick game. First, they made my family hostage in a church that is near my father's workplace, then they called everyone in my university, and two of the people went out and executed them in cold blood. Then, they executed my family, and proceeded to walk out of the church in a car and told people in the street to lay down.
Then, they got out of the car, told everyone in the street to get up, said something along the lines of "it's 28:00 already, you should have been sleeping, shouldn't you?" and they started to say stuff that indicated they were coming for me.
All the time, I was far away from the shootings, on the other side of the square in front of the building, in the middle of the people in there. I just knew they ended up killed from hearing the gunshots, and never witnessed the actual killings. The nightmare lasted for about 30 minutes or so.
What can this mean?

Strange recurring dream, desperate for interpretation or insight
Can anybody help interpret this recurring dream I’ve had for the past 2-3 years? Relevant background info: I graduated college in 2016 and this dream didn’t start until a few years after.
I have a recurring dream that the university I attended writes me a letter to let me know by bachelors degree is being revoked because they found out I hadn’t completed necessary math classes....from elementary school. My job finds out and fires me after 4 years of working there (my in real life job).
So now in this dream I, a fully grown person in their 20’s has to go back to my elementary school and repeat a bunch of classes with all of the normal aged children. In the dream the school is exactly how it was when I was younger and all the other visual details are 100% accurate. It’s always math classes, and always at my elementary school. I never dream about having to repeat college or high school courses.
I have this dream a few times a month, if not every week. I’m not currently in school, never had trouble with math, and haven’t heard from my university since I graduated.
This dream is stressful, full of anxiety, and borderline a nightmare because everything falls apart once I get the letter. I get fired from my actual current job, know I might potentially lose my actual apartment, etc. I wake up in a complete panic, sweating, and on the verge of tears.
The frequency of the dream and the intensity is staring to get to me. Hoping for any insight or advice on this!!
