What are possible meanings for dreams of blindness?

Sight in a dream can refer to perception or awareness. It’s a physical representation of a personal situation. To dream that you are blind can symbolize not seeing or noticing something, especially about yourself, a person you know, or a situation. You need to pay attention, “open your eyes.”

For example, a woman about to get married dreams that her fiancé is blind. It distresses her to know he doesn’t see her. In this case, blind means he doesn’t really know her. He doesn’t “see” who she really is, and it distresses her.

Blindness can indicate you’re aware of something but choose to ignore it.

Or you struggle with seeing or acknowledging the truth, making you susceptible to being fooled or deluded. For example, you are in love with someone and know you’re being used, but you don’t care because you’re blinded by love. See no evil.

Blind can mean blind to the facts or blind to the obvious.

It can symbolize trouble seeing your way to a goal or destination in life, or navigating through a situation. You know where you want to go but don’t know how to get there. Or you are just plain lost, “in the dark.” See: Darkness, Lost

Blindness is a versatile symbol. It can be used to figuratively describe a variety of situations, especially when combined with other symbols. For example, a blind dog can symbolize a friend who doesn’t see the obvious. A blind supervisor can symbolize inability to lead.

Look for discrepancies with reality. Obviously, if you are blind or have a serious eyesight issue, blindness in your dream is more likely to reflect reality. If eyesight is not an issue for you, you can bet it’s symbolism. Keep in mind that it could be an exaggerated way of saying you don’t see well.

Dreamt I met a God or Divine Being

Let me start off by saying i have always had complete conscious control over any dream i’ve been in since i was about 1 or 2 (the earliest i can remember) and have also frequently had Out of body experiences. Last night was different however. I had zero control over this dream other than the direct control over my body. It started off with a bright blue light that blinded me to the point i couldn’t see my body. The light begins to fade and i realize i am in a very vast, maybe infinite hilly plane with well cut grass. The light recedes into a being thats about 10-17 stories in height sitting cross legged. The being has no facial features, no eyes, no mouth, nothing and is a metallic white color. I walk forward as i don’t feel any malintent from the being. It then turns its head confused and says “hmm i’ve never met you before” im very confused at this point and dont answer. He then motions for me to sit and says “tell me about your life.” I then explain everything i’ve experienced in life up until this point, even things i had forgotten or pushed out of my memory. I talked for what seemed like hours up until the situation i’m currently in (its wildly complicated and personal) and i asked for advice “what do i do.” It answers with “it seems like you already know” and boom i was awake. It was very jarring and left me in tears as i awoke. Has anyone experienced this? Or have an explanation?

I dreamt what happens after I died

This has never happened to me before and its kind of freaking me out. Im wondering if anyone else has experienced this before because nobody in my circles that I asked ever had.

This is the dream:

This was a few nights ago and im still fucked about it.

I was at my childhood home, my parents were really old and frail (75/80’s, they’re actually in their 40’s irl) I felt like i was 24/25 (Im 19). The tv was on and I was cleaning not paying attention when the tv had a really loud alarm. The news guy said that america has fallen and showed huge street fights with fire everywhere and people getting shot and falling by the hundreds. The same dude came back on with another alert and said that the outsider countries that were waiting to attack have just declared war too. The phone rang and I watched my younger brother (18) answer it and hang up. I couldn’t hear him or anything else. He didnt say anything but him and my other brother (17) went upstairs, got a bag and left the house. I knew they got drafted to fight and I knew they didnt say anything bc they weren’t going to come back. My dad got up and hobbled to the door and said he had to protect the family, but I knew he didn’t want to go. He was doing it out of duty, and everyone knew he was too old he would die for certain. My mom was crying and so was my little sister (9) and so was I. Then there was another emergency alarm on the tv to immediately get underground and put something between your teeth and bite down, North Korea was coming. I got my family to go the basement and I was coming behind them, still upstairs when I looked out the window and saw a blinding white light growing and I knew I was going to die right then and I had this huge feeling that I had let it get to that point. It was MY fault that it did.
The light became everything and then it became all dark and my eyes adjusted to see that I was in a moving hallway of sorts. It in space, made out of space, and I could see outside of the area but I was confined to the inside. It was like a black space snake and I was inside riding it like a train. Some of the space scales of the snake worked as doors and I could go into points of time in the future/past, of my life which was a tiny section of it overall and in general too. I looked inside one room but I didn’t go in. It was just trees in a swamp. I opened this other door that had a vibe™️ to it and instantly I was met with this warm yellow glowing light that filled the entire room (which had no walls, it was just the light) and it had the MOST loving feeling ever. It felt like the ultimate motherly warm love ever and I could just melt into it and be happy and safe forever and I was about to step in when the light shifted and formed the face of a lady. The lady opened her eyes and looked directly dead in my eyes and without opening her mouth or anything she said loud and clear: Speak. The sound was in my body and everywhere at the same time.

And then I woke up. And I remained fucked up because I’ve never died in a dream and continued dreaming ever before.

Also my interpretation of the dream was: i have to speak on what ive been meaning and KNOW i need to speak on in order to not let bad things happen. Im trying to write a book and Ive been too scared to start.

This has never happened to me before and its kind of freaking me out. Im wondering if anyone else has experienced this before because nobody in my circles that...

Is my third eye opening?

I dreamt that my husband and I were getting married again, we were both wearing white and everyone we've ever had a relationship with was there, parents, grandparents, friends, etc. (This is a common dream of mine)

I saw someone on a hill top, a person who deeply wronged me and my husband and pointed out to my husband "Look who has the audacity to show up" My husband saw him and proceeded to get upset.

I lost sight of (the person we do not like) and I got scared and ran into the woods. This is where the dream gets weird because it suddenly got incredibly vivid. I even remarked to myself "Wow, this is a vivid dream."

In the forest there were a bunch of doors, each door opened to another forest. Some were bright and colorful, some were dark and grey. I closed the doors that lead to grey forest and kept going through doors that lead to other vibrate forest.

Eventually I opened a door to a great tree that stood taller than I could see. It's trunk it self was sort of a doorway, a portal to another world. My husband was there waiting at the foot of the tree. "We have to go in together, at the same time."

I asked if "everyone" was there and ready. I only saw the two of us. We agreed everyone was there and jumped inside the tree.

I looked back, not with my eyes but with my mind and saw someone standing at the foot of the tree. I couldn't see their body only a masculine energy, a boy or a man, maybe? I told my husband "We forgot ****??"

My husband looked back with his mind as well and we both saw this person jump through but they were much further behind us. Then I woke up.

Thoughts?

I dreamt that my husband and I were getting married again, we were both wearing white and everyone we've ever had a relationship with was there, parents,...

I dreamed of scary men talking to me through my window. Not seeing me. I could feel them through the wall. Help ASAP.

The dream is like this:

I'm sleeping or watching my phone in my bed (in the dream) and I feel knocking on the wall behind me, the whistling. Then I hear voices of men, which I don't know and theyr'e trying to gwt me to answer, like construction workers on the street talking to females (I am one) ? Yeah, like that. It's very scary.

Sometimes part of the window is open, so you could put your hand in but wouldn't be able to GET in no matter what you try. They never do, and I never see their faces. It's ussually two men talking but I feel there's more.

It happes on veeeeeeery rare occasions, though I don't know what triggers it.

Some facts that could help you help me:

I live in a one story home and we don't have a gated frontyard, so anyone can come up to my bedroom's window and tap it or get their hands inside if it is completely open. My friends have done it during the day sometimes when I was younger.

My bed is directly under the window, so if I'm sleeping I'm right under it. I don't have blinds or curtains, but my windows are translucent (you can only see the light coming through... And the shadows) not transparent.

I'm a female and live with my two younger siblings (a girl and a boy) and my mom.

I have a... Sensitive... Relationship with my dad... At least on my side. I just don't like him as a person. It's better with my grandpa on my mom's side but I think it's because I feel distance from him, emotional distance, so I can be fine while I'm with him. On the other hand, I look just like my dad.

I have had some other male reference models. I don't say role models because I didn't want to follow them, I just liked them. I say liked because one is a bitch now, and the other one, the amazing one, my favorite person in this universe, passed away about 9 years ago.

I want to knwo exactly or as close as possible to what this dream means...

The dream is like this:

I'm sleeping or watching my phone in my bed (in the dream) and I feel knocking on the wall behind me, the whistling. Then I hear voices...
