What are possible meanings for dreams of cages?
A cage is the picture of restraint, restriction, and confinement. It’s a representation of being unable to live the way you want or make your own decisions, or being forced to behave or act in ways that feel unnatural. A relationship, job, living situation, or way of thinking can be confining. See: Jails
A cage can symbolize ways you restrict, control, or limit yourself. Rules restrict and control. Morals limit. A promise means you will or won’t do something.
A cage can symbolize keeping yourself under wraps, hiding the full extent of your abilities or your true feelings. Or the past is a hindrance, a barrier to fulfilling potential.
When a dream shows you in a cage, the symbolism is likely to be about you and is not an observation about someone you know. But when a dream puts you into a scene where you observe someone or something in a cage, it’s likely that either you’re seeing a projection of something about yourself, or an observation about someone you know. Or it’s a way of describing a situation.
For example, you dream about a tiger in a cage and feel sorry because it’s wasting away. So you analyze yourself for related feelings and perceptions and nothing rings a bell. You ask yourself whether a tiger in a cage is a metaphor to describe someone you know, and again, doesn’t ring a bell. You ask whether it’s a way of describing something you’ve observed, and you search your recent memory. And ding ding, you remember a documentary you watched about refugee children who spend years in camps and have little education or opportunity. What a waste! Their lives are like cages and they waste away, like the tiger in the cage.
An animal in a cage can symbolize restraint of instincts or drives, particularly the wilder ones. A powerful animal like a lion or bear can symbolize freedom to roam, to make your own decisions, but a powerful animal in a cage carries the opposite idea. A small animal like a gerbil or mouse can symbolize the instinct to make yourself unnoticeable, to avoid scrutiny or danger, but at the expense of personal freedom. A biting animal such as a snake in a cage can symbolize restraining the instinct to strike.
Feeling safe inside a cage can symbolize necessary restriction or feeling protected from whatever is outside of the cage. For example, the schoolkid who stays indoors rather than venturing out and taking the risk of running into neighborhood bullies puts himself into a sort of cage.

Human remains, a dream about being a body parts cleaner at a mall
I'm tired of cleaning human excrement. I'm tired of cleaning human excrement. Ssid the janitor of the mall as he picked the body parts of humans scattered around the floor. He had a basket like one of those you use for wet clothes right out the washing machine. He looked at me and told me to come pick it up. He then instructed me to take jt to the bathroom and throw it there. So I did. I walked across the big mall and went there. At the bathroom there was a special section with cages and burn marks along the walls. I threw the remainings at the floor and then left. After that I went home to my apartment where I lived with my mom and my brother. I couldn't really tell them anything about what I saw even though they were right there for everyone to see. That's how I was instructed by the janitor.
The next day, I went there again. I saw some human remainings on the floor and decided to pick them up. All of them were really dry for some reason. Like pieces of plastic, all brownish pink and had barely any feel to it. I was making my way to the bathroom but it seemed strange. The lights were all dim and I couldn't see much. As I went and threw them there I noticed the walls were a lot more burnt but I couldn't do much. Some pieces of skin got stuck to my hair and hands so I went to get cleaned up. I could feel them on my body and I was disgusted. As they touched me they seemed to have regained their human composure and got soft and warm. I tried cleaning them up very quickly and was thinking of telling my mom. At that moment I could hear this ticking noise.
Tick tock tick tock. As if someone was beating their finger across a metal surface. The noise was getting closer and closer. I immediately knew what it was. Some kids came to the bathroom too to do their business but it seemed as if they couldn't hear it. I got out and screamed at them to run. The monster would come for us all if we didn't . And so we did, 3 kids running away from a huge and naked monster. We were going down thr stair when one of the kids decided to part ways from us. In that instant we heard a gunshot and the janitors laugh. I realized thst this was a hopeless situation. One of those where you can't really think your way out and all you had to do was either give up or fight. As we were running we saw the huge naked monster was right in front of us. He was laughing morbidly and would just stand there, blocking our way. The other kids stopped but I didn't. Somehow I slipped right between his feet and made my way outside. I had to go home, but thst would mean I'd be leading them right to my family. I still did though, thinking id be safe. Knowing I'd be safe.
As I was walking, right across the street the mall boss was looking at me. He was a fat man, walking around with an oxygen tank. He had a huge carved pumpkin on his head and it pretty much seemed as if that was his face. He was just walking left and right on his apartment and looking at me through the glass. A woman's voice was telling me how she couldn't exactly figure out the bosses plan and that it was way more elaborate than we thought it were.
All I was thinking about was all the kids I saw running around and if they made it. Thinking about my job at the mall, I highly doubt it. But then again, I don't know how they'd be able to cover up this one. As I was getting close to the house I hear tbis child screaming "We know where you liveeeeee" "we know where you liveeeeee". I also had a name but it wasn't mine. It was someone else's. Thats when I stopped. I could imagine that little girl running around the flat hall screaming. I could hear her steps echo through the whole neighbourhood. She seemed black all over. No distinct shape whatsoever. That's when I knew that my family wasn't there anymore. And I started floating in the air, or better yet the way I saw the world did (same as a camera switching perspective to see the bigger picture). As I realized that the little girls enthusiasm fell and her steps were getting rarer and rarer. The boss was still looking at me.

Hell
I was trapped in an industrial labyrinth with only a pistol. It was barely visible with the only ambient light coming from holes in the roof of the warehouse. I was chased by these disgustingly fat sausage shaped monsters frantically dragging and waddling themselves towards me with these frail and disproportionately small arms.
Their skin was a discolored gray with dozens of brown and green spots as if it were badly molding bread. The monsters’ skin stretched so tightly around their bodies that their rib cages bulged through despite their obese figure. The bottom portion of their faces were split open and dangled loosely like raw steak.
I tried shooting the monsters but that only seemed to make them angrier. Dropping the gun I ran, stumbling clumsily over stray pipes and occasionally my own feet. I cried, begged and screamed for help but my cries were drowned out by the cold darkness of the labyrinth and the guttural and bubbling growling coming from the wall of flesh nipping at my heals.
A burning vibration, what I believe to be dream pain, radiated throughout my foot into my calf as I collapsed to floor. I looked back to see half of my leg submerged in its gaping and fleshy maw, it’s cold and indifferent eyes locked with mine. I clawed at the grimy linoleum flooring as the monster dragged me deeper and deeper into its mouth.
I could feel my skin rip, the pop of ligaments being tore from bone and the crushing of said bone. I could feel my breath get lighter and and hear my screams grow fainter as it’s tongue crushed down on my rib cages. The shrinking of ambient light coming from the labyrinth being the last thing I saw as it’s mouth closed shut.
The darkness of its insides melted with an unknown ambient light and I found myself back at the beginning of the labyrinth again, eyes desperately trying to fix themselves to the darkness around me, the monsters directly in front of me.
This scenario looped more than 5 times with me dying every time until I finally woke up.

Pet white tiger
I (22f) had the most vivid dream last night that I havent been able to shake all day. I feel like it probably has some sort of bigger than me meaning ( not that I know what it is)
In my dream, there was an enormous beautiful white tiger living with me. I was afraid of it even though throughout the entire dream it never seemed to be a threat to me.
Two things the tiger did that really stayed with me after the dream were
1: licked the entirety of my arm, and it felt just like a cat tongue but huge, causing my arm to hurt (think sandpaper)
2: leapt off of my second story porch and into the forest almost appearing to fly before running to the front of the house and back through the front door.
Also in the dream at one point I remember trying to lock myself into a cage to keep it away from me (while my partner and brother laughed and asked why I was afraid of my pet)
.
.
I've never had a dream as intense as this and just needed to tell somebody.
.
Also if you have an idea of what it may represent, im all ears.

Aliens wanted to turn Earth into a planet sized cage.
I had a fever dream that aliens wanted to make a giant cage out of earth. Like a cage made from a whole planet, and because of that they had to kill all humans on earth. All humans died after they looked at a poster made by aliens, or if you look at alien's eyes. Even if you weren't in my house which is where the aliens were, the aliens could still send you the poster and you could die by looking at the poster from your phone. The poster had the planet earth shaped like a cube but with only the scaffolding like it had no walls, and the aliens said they want to make a cage from this planet for unspecified reasons. I was the last one to die on the whole planet because i was trying to convince the aliens to not do it, but then i died because i looked at their eyes. In the afterlife for the first few seconds you are stuck in the position you died in but then if you try hard enough you can break out and you're in kind of Minecraft spectator mode. You can walk or fly around and noclip through walls. The aliens weren't from mars or anything but they were from another universe and they traveled to earth by opening a giant portal. They were nice about everything and acted like this whole planet cage thing wasn't a huge thing.

Had a dream I went insane, now I'm paranoid
Whatsup I'm 13f and had a weird dream that's leaving me paranoid please help. So a few nights ago i had a dream where I went insane.
I was in a big white room. There were small square windows around me, like, really small. I would look out the windows and see these bright flashes of purple light(purple is my comfort color).
I wasn't really scared more like... confused. Disoriented. Like a wild animal that was thrown in a cage.
After hours of confusion my mom finally took me to a mental hospital. I didn't see how she got me there, I just got flashes of purple.
At the hospital there was this strangely calm doctor that asked me questions that I don't remember and he handed me three prescription bottles. One of them just said psychopath.
Once we got home my mom got mad because we weren't able to go on our trip to Raleigh(we're going there this week.)
This dream has left me so freaked out and paranoid, please tell me what it means!!
