My dream lasted for years, I’ve waken up confused and disorientated from the real world!
Last night I had a dream that has left me confused, grieving and distant from real life.
Has anyone ever had a dream that’s lasted weeks, months or even a lifetime?
My dream started with some kind of apocalypse happening, I watched the world get turned upside down. A lot of people survived but the dynamics of any kind of social system had fallen.
I lived life travelling with a group of people, trying to find food water and essentials. We tried to settle down and make home at some random empty houses but each time something ended up making us move.
In this dream I made friends, faced challenges with them, saw them die, I ran for my own life but in the end lost mine too.
It felt like I lived this life for months if not years. Too many details to explain on here but I can add if anyone’s interested. But in the end my dream ended with civilisation slowly getting back to a structured system. We went on a plane that we had found however once it was up in the air not long after some kind off technical issue made the plane start to fall. It went quickly I could only see from my perspective flashing in and out of consciousness until I suddenly saw the plane go down from A Birdseye view. And then I was taken to A place that was nowhere.. nothing existed except a voice talking to me.
I then saw little clips of my friends I made in this life, From years after the plane crash when civilisation was coming together. I saw a clip of my friend walking into a room in a house smiling. I saw a little girl pick up ring that had fallen from the plane crash. I saw other friends living their life years later finally at peace. I remember I was crying and I was happy for them that they were okay and things had gotten better for them.
Then I woke up, I felt so confuse it had felt like I just lived a whole life in one night of sleeping. the real world doesn’t feel real anymore. I feel disorientated and not sure what this means.
I hope this goes away I feel completely disconnected to real life.

A dream about Lucifer
I'd like to start off by saying I'm not a religious person. I would never deny anyone their own beliefs but I myself find I don't need religion to help get through day to day life. I believe in the golden rule and the possibility of a higher power both good or evil but I don't have a specific religion I'd stake my faith in. That being said I had a dream last night that has me a bit curious.
In my dream was at my grandmother's house and lots of my family were there. Although I can't remember exactly who. They are all Christian though which is part of why this dream seemed so odd to me. Anyway, I was sitting on a couch talking to someone next to me, and somehow we end up talking about the Value of Death. I said something along the lines of "This thing (with which I don't recall) is worth the death of many people." And just after having said that I felt an intense static in my legs and then was totally paralyzed. I panicked a bit and told the people around me amd everyone got silent and just stared at me. Then I felt a very suddenly intense pain radiating from my neck throughout the rest of my body which just kept pulsating and never dulled. It caused me to scream but still everyone was silent. Then I felt something, as I'd there were someone leaning into my ear to whisper, but no one was there. And what I heard was quite frightening but I lack the proper words to describe it. Something far worse than impish nonsense but that's the best description I could give. And then nothing. I was telling everyone what was happening and one of my aunts, I'm not certain which one, said we should give Him a call. Then proceeded to take a phone to another room. When she came back a very handsome man, in dark clothing was behind her. He glanced down at me very briefly and then began to survey the room around him as I'd it were a bloody crime scene. For a moment I even saw it from his perspective and it was quite a mess. Then he told me his name was Lucifer and gave me a kind smile. Next he said "A devil of greed had bitten me." Staring at the wall by the TV as if he were looking through it he began to explain that my mention of the Value of Death, the devil was nearby and listening. However when it realized there was nothing a "value" around me it threw a tantrum much like a child, which is why it had bitten me. But apparently it took off in a hurry. Lucifer then leaned down and placed a kiss on top of my head and the pain and paralysis disappeared instantaneously. He smiled kindly at me once more and told me that I would be alright and needn't worry. Then he was gone. As if he had never been there at all, everyone around me began moving and talking again. But all I could think about was how my aunt was able to get ahold of Lucifer himself via phone. Why she would have contact with him as she's very Christian and would never associate with The Devil so casually as if she needed his help? Then I began to wonder if something like this happened again how would I get ahold of him myself to help me. And when I woke up I was in a state of shock. Anyone have an ideas why I would dream of such a thing so randomly?

Dying in dream but not waking up from it
I hear a lot that you can’t die in a dream without waking up but for me that’s simply not true. It happened multiple times that I die and continued dreaming. For example once I ddieand cam back as a ghost and tried to warn my friends about a threat but they couldn’t see or hear me. I had a dream where I was sick and was waiting to didien a hospital bed and I was between living and could see the afterlife. Or what happens most of the time, I’m able to “respawn” like in a video game and just reappear elsewhere in the dream or do a part over. Does anyone else experience this?

I had a dream months ago about a dead person I never knew, then googled his name only to find out he was a real person. Here I am months later, and his name randomly came to my head. I googled him...
Several months ago, I woke up one morning remembering a strange dream I had the previous night. In the dream, I visualized a phone with “new text messages” that said, “_FirstName_Last Name is dead!!” (Keeping name undisclosed per the loved ones’ privacy). Today, it is about 2.5-3 months later since I had this strange dream, and his name randomly came to my head when I was going about my daily business. I told my girlfriend about how his name showed up in my head again, and she was shocked to find an obituary that said that he had died TODAY, 2 years ago. I remembered this complete stranger I dreamt of in a dream, ON THE ANNIVERSARY OF HIS DEATH. Does anyone know what this means?? Please help me understand, I feel I have a very strange connection/meaning with this person!! Also, SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY please. Thank you.

Does anyone ever have a dream that just seems so normal? Like you can't tell it from your everyday life?
Context: my old phone was dying recently. Would only charge with my dad's charger for some reason, so he would charge his phone each night, then take my phone and plug it into his charger and let it charge through the night. This went on until the phone finally went out for good. (And yes, this info is necessary for the story).
A few nights ago I had a dream where I kept getting up in the night to make sure my phone was charging. That's it. That was the whole dream. Nothing out of the ordinary happened. I got up a few times to see if my phone was actually charging because it had been charging extremely slowly for some reason.
32%, 50%, 63%... Every once in a while when I checked in the dream.
Then in the dream, I finally closed my eyes to get some sleep. Woke up back in the real world and my phone was at 2%, not almost full, like it had been.
To be honest, I'm not even sure if it was a dream that I had where I did this. I don't actually dream all that often. And if it was, why would I dream about checking to make sure my cell phone was charging of all things?
