Our emotions in dreams can help us understand its meaning. Pay attention to how you felt in the dream. Pay attention to how you feel about time in dreams. See how you feel about time now, in your waking life.

What are possible meanings for dreams of time?

Dreams can alter your perception of time to help tell the story, the same way that a movie or novel can compress or expand the sense of time passing. For example, a movie can jump forward or flash back in time and the audience plays along. You can live a lifetime in a half-hour dream and it is completely believable.

Time in a dream can be used to refer to a variety of situations in life. For example, finding the right time to do something, time to work on a task or project, wasting time, and giving enough time to do something right. You can want to turn back time, or you can run out of time.

Time is associated with patience and lack of it.

Running out of time in a dream can express the feeling that you have something to do and the clock is ticking. For example, a dream about having only a short amount of time to be with a friend, and constantly getting distracted, occurred while the dreamer’s friend was close to dying after a prolonged illness. The dreamer wanted no distractions so he could spend as much time as possible with his friend. Time runs out for having children or changing careers or telling someone you love him.

Have you ever had a dream where you fell in love with a stranger?

As the title suggests, I just woke up after experiencing this and feel very weird.

In my dream I was in a mall type of thing at night and this stunning japanese woman bumped into me asking if I had the time. I said yes and continued walking around this mall. A little later I found a huge set of stairs and slid all the way to the bottom on the railings.

At the bottom of the stairs, the girl from earlier was there and timidly asked me if I wanted to grab some food with her. I said yes immediately.

I then remember spending some time talking to her about random stuff, but finding her more and more interesting and attractive. Her friends were cool and played in a weird funk-metal kind of band and asked if I wanted to be involved.

After talking she asked if I wouldn’t mind walking her up to apartment as it was super late. I of course obliged and went with her. After arriving she invited me in and I remember her place being absolutely huge and overlooking whatever city this dream was supposed to be in.

We talked some more about what her future plans were and how similar our goals were. It got to the point where we were close and kissing and eventually slept together. I just remember there being this weird warmth in my chest whilst this happening, and it felt like nothing I had experienced before.

After waking up from this, I feel almost hollow and honestly kind of depressed. I can still remember how she smelt and how I felt when she looked me in the eyes.

The fucked up part of this is that I’ve been dating someone for the past 6 months or so, and after this dream, dare I say that I feel less close to her?

Has anyone else experienced something like this? What does it mean? Is it my mind telling the girl I’m with isn’t the right one for me? I’m so confused.

What does end of the world mean?

Last night I had a dream where there was 2 moons one smaller that got stuck with earth, and the normal one. For some reason the second moon was causing problems so the US Government came up with a plan to get rid of the smaller one, how? by nuking it. They started their plan the next morning (In the dream) and basically blew it to bits but one of them put a few nukes on the REAL one and mountain sized pieces started ripping through the ozone and crashed down and somehow, I survived.
The aftermath was the world becoming swiss cheese and I was the only human left alive.
It was a weird experience and I kind of just blacked out and then appeared under debris. I also became lucid for a little when I guess my parents were waking me up because I heard a voice in the sky saying "Its time to get up" but what felt like 5 seconds I was awake.

I love my dream world more than anything.

Call me crazy, but it's the best part of life. I get to spend time with the people I love the most in my life: the Marauders, the Avengers, all those people I've loved. I get to escape from my stupid boring life and have some fun. I get to love people freely and talk with them and learn more about them. I love them so much and they are the people who I consider my family.

Dying in dream but not waking up from it

I hear a lot that you can’t die in a dream without waking up but for me that’s simply not true. It happened multiple times that I died and continued dreaming. For example once I died and cam back as a ghost and tried to warn my friends about a threat but they couldn’t see or hear me. I had a dream where I was sick and was waiting to die on a hospital bed and I was between living and could see the afterlife. Or what happens most of the times, I’m able to “respawn” like in a video game and just reappear elsewhere in the dream or do a part over. Does anyone else experience this?

Old friend contacted me after 3 years after god came in their dream and asked them to check with me to see if everything is okay

Ok so this was really weird for me. So I didn't sleep the last night, I spent the entire night just thinking about ending it all. Life seemed too difficult at that moment and I was feeling extremely low. I hated growing up even though I had an abusive childhood. Because currently, my inner child is completely dead and I don't find happiness anywhere.

Anyway, that's basically what I was thinking last night and circling my room for hours.

Today morning, an old friend texted me and asked me how I was doing. I was surprised tbh because they weren't even a close friend to me, we were just like acquaintances. I said thanks for asking, but how come? Like what happened that made you remember me suddenly?

Then they told me that they saw a weird dream which made them think of me. Something(which was apparently god) told them to talk to me and make sure everything was okay.

Here's the thing. I was never really much a believer(in god). But the timing of this incident is so weird that it baffles me. I wasn't in contact with that friend for 3+ years, they contacted me on the night I was thinking about ending my life.

I don’t know what's reality and myth anymore. This universe is so weird. It works in mysterious ways.

I would still love to know your interpretations of this dream.
