Does anyone ever establish deep relationships with people in a dream and then becomes devastated when they realize it was all fake?
Today was the second time i kind of fell in love in a dream. The dream lasted a ton of days and basically it was my (almost) ordinary life, but i became friends with a guy and spent most of my free time hanging out with him. The dream ended after we spent all night talking at his house and suddenly it was 8 am and i was incredibly late to class. It was incredibly depressing to wake up and have to accept that he never existed.

Dying in dream but not waking up from it
I hear a lot that you can’t die in a dream without waking up but for me that’s simply not true. It happened multiple times that I died and continued dreaming. For example once I died and cam back as a ghost and tried to warn my friends about a threat but they couldn’t see or hear me. I had a dream where I was sick and was waiting to die on a hospital bed and I was between living and could see the afterlife. Or what happens most of the time, I’m able to “respawn” like in a video game and just reappear elsewhere in the dream or do a part over. Does anyone else experience this?

Very dramatic dream about covid
I was standing in a very crowded room with hundreds of other people. We were all wearing masks and everyone was silent. Then suddenly I coughed, and everyone gasped while turning to look at me. I realised that they all thought I had covid, and so I fell to my knees while yelling “NOOO I JUST CHOKED ON MY SPIT!!!” (but I hadn’t choked on my spit). But then everyone started yelling “GO AWAY!!! BE GONE!!! GET OUT OF HERE!!!” and I was like “NOOO PLEASE NOOO!!! I JUST CHOKED!!! PLEASE NO!!!”. It was incredibly dramatic, like I was being shunned. It was pretty scary in the dream, because I was so desperate, but when I woke up I kinda laughed at how overly dramatic it was. I don’t know what to make of this dream though...

My dream lasted for years, I’ve waken up confused and disorientated from the real world!
Last night I had a dream that has left me confused, grieving and distant from real life.
Has anyone ever had a dream that’s lasted weeks, months or even a lifetime?
My dream started with some kind of apocalypse happening, I watched the world get turned upside down. A lot of people survived but the dynamics of any kind of social system had fallen.
I lived life travelling with a group of people, trying to find food water and essentials. We tried to settle down and make home at some random empty houses but each time something ended up making us move.
In this dream I made friends, faced challenges with them, saw them die, I ran for my own life but in the end lost mine too.
It felt like I lived this life for months if not years. Too many details to explain on here but I can add if anyone’s interested. But in the end my dream ended with civilisation slowly getting back to a structured system. We went on a plane that we had found however once it was up in the air not long after some kind off technical issue made the plane start to fall. It went quickly I could only see from my perspective flashing in and out of consciousness until I suddenly saw the plane go down from A Birdseye view. And then I was taken to A place that was nowhere.. nothing existed except a voice talking to me.
I then saw little clips of my friends I made in this life, From years after the plane crash when civilisation was coming together. I saw a clip of my friend walking into a room in a house smiling. I saw a little girl pick up ring that had fallen from the plane crash. I saw other friends living their life years later finally at peace. I remember I was crying and I was happy for them that they were okay and things had gotten better for them.
Then I woke up, I felt so confuse it had felt like I just lived a whole life in one night of sleeping. the real world doesn’t feel real anymore. I feel disorientated and not sure what this means.
I hope this goes away I feel completely disconnected to real life.
