What are possible meanings for dreams of wolves?
A wolf in a dream can symbolize something wild or dangerous, a person or situation. And like most dream symbols, the possibilities expand far beyond the typical.
The symbolism of wolves can be associated with their ferocity and defensiveness. Wolves appear threatening and will fight to the death. They growl over their food and snarl. They are predators.
In people, those associations can be tied with traits and qualities such as aggressiveness, territoriality, relentlessness and ruthlessness. In situations, those associations can describe fear, danger, competition, or ganging up. For example, a group of family members gang up on you like a wolf pack.
A wolf—especially the action of following a wolf or a pack—can symbolize following instincts to protect the young, defend turf, display aggression, or mate.
A wolf pack can symbolize “pack mentality.”
A situation where you argue heatedly or get into an altercation can be symbolized by wolves snarling and fighting.
Wolves packs are said to be led by an alpha (though in reality, only wolf packs in captivity have alphas), creating an association for dreams to use to describe a “leader of the pack.” Alphas are the strongest and most assertive. A pack of wolves in a dream can symbolize a group of bullies led by a chief or alpha. See: Bullies
For example, a family man dreams about three wolves breaking down his front door, led by a fearsome alpha. Outmatched, he decides to befriend the alpha, so he pets it and says nice things. The alpha says to the other wolves, “let’s meet and decide how to handle these humans.” The dream sums up a legal situation where he was threatened with being sued by a team of three lawyers for violation of intellectual property rights. Instead of fighting back, he called the lead attorney—the alpha—and framed the dispute in terms of providing for his family. He offered to freely share his innovations. His reasoning persuaded the lead attorney, a mother and family provider, to settle the situation amicably. The dream occurred a few months before any inkling of trouble. See: Precognitive dreams
As wild and instinctual creatures, wolves can symbolize raw sexuality and passion.
The relentless way that wolves pursue prey can be used to create symbolism for exhaustion and being worn down.
A wolf attack in a dream can mean you are doing something to provoke a person or otherwise court danger. Wolves don’t generally attack humans unless provoked or threatened. The symbolism of a wolf attack can connect with the general symbolism of being attacked or ambushed. See: Ambushing, Attacking
It can symbolize an adversarial relationship with your instincts.
Provocation and threat are not just physical situations. Emotional and personal situations can be described that way, too, such as when you’re facing a threat from someone getting too friendly with your spouse, or you are a threat to yourself.
A wolf in sheep’s clothing is someone or something who’s threatening despite outer appearances.
While many associations with wolves are negative, some are positive. They’re closely associated with nature, especially its wild and unpredictable side, and native cultures. “Run with the wolves” means in one sense to be uninhibited and free to roam. Wolves are loyal to each other. They mate for life and form strong family bonds.
A white wolf can symbolize a feeling that you’re protected, or a strong, positive connection between the ego and the unconscious mind. See: White

A huge black wolf called Destroyer
So I had a interesting dream last night. What stood out in this dream was that I was in a dark, cavernous, place. It was damp. Standing taller than me was a large, black, wolf. I called it "Destroyer". When it opened it's mouth a blinding white light emitted and I started to get sucked towards it, kind of like a black hole sucks everything inside of it. I grabbed onto a rock and held on as I felt that if I let go that something bad was going to happen. I did not feel fear or that I was afraid I just knew that I can't give in and let go from holding onto the rock as I was being pulled into this wolf's mouth. Next thing I know I woke up. Not sure what this dream was telling me.

Confusing dream about getting lost at a college party and a wolf turning to Ash
I dream that I was going to a new college. It was kind of a redneck campus if I remember correctly so my bi ass already felt quite unwelcome. I lived on campus and all of the buildings that the classes were in were located way far away from the dorm rooms. We had to hike a mile through the woods and the mud in order to get to campus. I was hiking to what I think was the student center on a dreary, disgusting, chilly overcast day and was covered in mud by the time I got there.
There was a big party in the student center I was trying to get to. Somehow no one there looked as disheveled as I did even though they all walked too. Everyone looked all nice and fancy and then there's me - cold, sweaty, wet frizzy hair from the rain, grass stained jeans and mud-caked boots. I was very self conscious.
Then this black guy who was apparently pretty popular on campus showed up in a shiny bright purple tux with a fog machine. He greeted everyone and was even friendly to me, the guy who looked so dirty and had tracked in mud. Then he stood on top of some kind of weird podium thing in the center of the room and turned on the radio while waving to everyone.
People were dancing and I was feeling a little overwhelmed when the crowd started parting abruptly. I turned around and there's some guy walking a fucking timberwolf on a leash. The wolf walks right up to me, sniffs at me and starts growling and baring it's teeth. But just when I think it's about to lunge at me the wolf turns to ashes.
Interpretations, pleas3?

I had a dream that a wolf was bitting me
I was with my mom and she had a wolf. I was a little scared but I tried to pet it anyways. It started to bite me really hard but not making me bleed. I told my mom who was next to me to help me but she just looked at me and said, "you'll be fine" and then I woke up and was a little mad because she didn't help me.

The Desert Crossing
I was stood under the sweltering heat of the sun, feeling it reflect off the golden sand beneath my feet. I was atop a sand dune with a red clay coloured mountain range to my left, but my destination was a mile ahead.
I descended the sand dune and began my crossing. Half way through the crossing I came upon a beastly creature. Perhaps half scorpion, half cockroach, only it was the size of a large car. It was sand coloured to help it blend in with its surroundings. Acid dripped from the corners of its vicious, deadly mouth. A true predator.
I paused, not knowing what to do. It noticed me. The beastly insect turned slowly and eyed me up. It began to glide towards me, it's multiple gangly legs moving in unison. It turned out I had had an axe with me the entire time, so I held my weapon and prepared myself for a scrap.
The creature stopped ten feet away. It reared its head upwards, paused briefly, and then spat a gallon of poisonous acid at me. I reacted quickly, rolling to the right. The acid missed me only by inches. I picked myself up and charged to its flank, closing the ground between us. One step, two step. Halfway there. Three step. The creature reared its ugly head once more. Four step and I was there. The beast tried to turn it's long body around to meet me, but it wasn't fast enough. I swung my axe, delivering a swift uppercut of razor sharp carbon steel. I breathed for the first time, I realised, in 30 seconds. After a brief pause to get my breath back, I carried on with my journey.
As I was nearing my destination, I heard the pitter patter of feet behind me, getting louder. My head darted to over my shoulder. Wolves. A pack of them, on my tail. I burst into a sprint. The wolves were a lot more nimble at navigating the rocks and sand of the arid landscape than I. They were gaining on me.
I stumbled around the corner of a mountain, the change of direction throwing off my balance slightly, to find my destination greeting me. A small, nondescript white building, perhaps in a traditional Spanish stucco style. I leaped through the doorway, quickly slamming the door shut behind me, before collapsing against it. A slight smirk crept across my face. Safety.

Had this dream last night. I quickly jotted it down in the morning. I tried to be as accurate to the dream as possible while painting a better picture of its atmosphere rather than just sharing what happened. What do you think? How was my writing?

I dreamt a dark-coloured dog attacking me.
This dream was actually around last week. I wish I wrote down the details sooner.
I dreamt in our garden that a dark-coloured (either brown or black) dog attacked me and I can’t remember which breed it was, I just knew the dog was a male. The thing is— I LOVE dogs. I don’t have a fear of dogs. But in this dream I was fearful and terrified. He would chase me EVERYWHERE and I couldn’t escape. When I’d think that he turned to a certain direction and was distracted, he’d turn towards me. I woke up with a huge fear of this dog in my dream and I don’t know why.
It’s important to note that a family member of mine has a husky/wolf dog that is very scary and aggressive. But I haven’t been really thinking of his dog. I don’t know, this dog in my dream really affected me.
What do you guys think?
