A few months ago I had this terrible nightmare an atomic bomb hit close to my city.

I walked outside and as I felt my body ripping apart I walked into the explosion so it would happen faster.

I forgot about it after a week or so ... today i found the journal entry written in my notes (I misplaced my real journal some time ago) Just reading the nightmare journal entry makes my hands cold and sweaty.

Anyway ... I googled it ... Because that's what I did last time I had a nightmare and it worked ... I found this sub, and I found a post from a year ago by a deleted account. I'm really kind of afraid because the comment section on that post 1 year ago is filled with maybe half a dozen people saying they have had the same nightmare.

I dreamed of my own death and experience in the afterlife

In my dream I was driving my car, and I drove past a gas station. In my rear view mirror I saw the gas station I passed explode. I felt some worry about the people there but relief I didn’t stop at that one, and then I kept driving.

I drove up to the next gas station that was within line of sight across the street, much closer than the first one and I waited at the red light. As the light turned green I saw the edges of the building light on fire, like the fire just appeared, and then I drove away but I didn’t get much distance before it exploded. I felt the heat off of it and heard the screams and I drove away scared with a feeling of dread in my stomach.

I finally drove to a gas station and decided to pull in and stop. But at the last second my hands froze on the steering wheel and instead of turning, I drove straight into the gas pumps and they also exploded.

I felt the explosion overtake my body so fast, and my physical body jumped in my sleep and my heart skipped a beat from the shock of it. At this point, after experiencing physical harm in my dream, I’d normally wake up. There was a brief darkness in my dream and I remember feeling relieved that I didn’t seem to experience much pain.

And then I could see again and I was standing outside my car in the aftermath of the explosion. I could hear sirens in the distance. A spectral male figure appeared floating above me and he held his hands out to me and gestured for me to take them and come with him. I was compelled to take his hands but I was confused, yet somehow I knew I felt safe and comfortable with this man at the same time.

As he brought me into the air with him and we floated together, I realized I was dead. And a huge wave of panic hit me knowing I wouldn’t be able to speak to my boyfriend or my mom again- I immediately wanted to try to communicate with them even though I was dead. The man told me not yet, I had a soul contract to fulfill first.

The man took me and trained me, I remember him speaking to me about there being many things I needed to learn. He tried to teach me to be like him and convince me to come with him, but I didn’t want to hear it. I wanted to stay as close to the Earthly plan as I could so I could one day see my family again and check in on how their lives were going now that I was gone.

After that he took me to a prison cell of a man whose soul needed to be saved. He told me to speak with him and try to help him. I went into the man’s cell and he seemed to recognize me even though I didn’t remember knowing his face. At the same time I felt love for him. He didn’t know I was dead until I reached out and touched his hand. He said “You’re so froze..” and I told him it was because I died.

I died on September 20th in my dream. Once I left the man’s cell I asked my spectral mentor what day it was to the people who were still living. He said it was October 21st. “A month?! Already?” I started panicking and hoping my boyfriend was okay. I knew I need to get to him and tell him not to be sad and that I’m still here, just in a different form. But the spectral man still didn’t want me to leave, and I woke up just after I agreed to stay with him instead.

Ok so super weird, never even thought about something like this

Ok, backstories for what I gathered it this dream it was weirdly vivid, this dream takes place in a world where there are humans and neko’s, but humans are racist towards the neko’s, anyways it start with me in a park bent over looking at the flowers, this dream was really vivid, the color of the flowers were blue and yellow they were mixed I think, but I got up and turned around I see a neko in a cloak I think, it was either a cloak or a Japanese outfit, she touched my chest with two fingers and my entire body was encased with ice, then a split second later the neko was gone and the ice shattered like glass, but she was behind me, I was about get up and then my neck started to feel extremely cold, then I think I was knocked out, but when I woke up I got up and headed home, but I saw people giving me weird looks and whispering to each other, i never made it home though, this whole bit is a bit of a blur but I remember I got it a fight, I crossed a little bridge then after that everything was clear again and I was at a friends house, he didn’t know who I was and I was super confused, I told him it was me, and he squinted his eyes and said “Logan?”, I said yeah and he said,”you do notice you have ears and a tail, right?”at first I thought he was joking, until I looked behind me and saw that I had a tail, I looked in a mirror and saw cat ears, I told him I couldn’t go back to my normal job, he agreed with me

Night terror or odd dream

So the dream began with me lying on my left side in my bed with my blanket partially over my face. I could see some of the wall in front of me and the window on the wall to the left. I could feel a presence in the room and was frozen, but couldnt really move. That's what makes me think it was a night terror. Then I could hear rough whispering from a man that I couldnt make out.

Then he said something like "you stay there nice and quiet while I go take care of your family and nothing will happen to you." I was frozen in a frozen sweat, I could feel my teeth grinding together and my eyes welling up with tears. All i could do was stare at the wall in front of me and couldnt really focus on that.

I thought to myself something like, "i really thought I'd behave much differently in a situation like this. This man is going to come back and even if he kills me i can warn my family upstairs." I surged with courage and adrenaline, but all I could do was stick one arm out from under the covers slowly and I touched the man's hand. He moved it and I tried so hard to grab it again and his fingers slipped through mine. It was like I was trying to sit up in cement, but i managed to and watched him climb the stairs from my room to the upstairs. (Just like the actual layout of my room) i stood and followed him, again so slowly, and then I screamed and screamed and screamed.

That was when my dad came running down the stairs and I was standing there in a tshirt screaming and crying. I told him I'd had a nightmare and we both went back to bed.

When I laid down I blinked my eyes and I was actually awake. Staring at the wall with my arm outstretched off the bed like I'd been reaching. I'd never actually stood at the bottom of the stairs screaming, yet it had felt so real.

Was this a night terror with a possible out of body experience? What does a dream like this mean?

So the dream began with me lying on my left side in my bed with my blanket partially over my face. I could see some of the wall in front of me and the window on...
