Our emotions in dreams can help us understand its meaning. Pay attention to how you felt in the dream. Pay attention to how you feel about buses in dreams. See how you feel about buses now, in your waking life.

What are possible meanings for dreams of buses?

A bus is a form of group transportation, so it can symbolize group projects, situations, and endeavors. You are figuratively going the same direction as the other passengers. You’re all in the same boat, the same bus. See: Passengers

For example, a man who freelances as a graphic designer dreams that he sees other freelancers on a bus that passes him by without picking him up. It symbolizes the perception that other freelancers he knows are getting plenty of work, but he’s hardly getting any. He feels passed over.

Riding a bus with passengers can symbolize your inner life. The passengers are projections from your inner world. They can symbolize what you bring together internally for a purpose, such as to do your job: intellect, skill, will, motivation. They all brought together to go the same direction in your life.

Riding alone on a bus can symbolize feeling like you aren’t understood, or are alone in an endeavor or path in life.

The bus driver can symbolize the leader of an organization or group. For example, a pastor is a leader of a flock of believers. A coach is the leader of a team. They figuratively drive the bus that carries the flock or team. The idea extends to leadership in your psyche. Your ego is usually the driver, but not always. Plus, different parts of the psyche can get in the driver’s seat depending on the situation and need. See: Egos, Psyches

A bus on fire can symbolize that a group project or endeavor is figuratively going up in flames.

A bus that lumbers, or that is especially large, can symbolize being overweight, or struggling with too much figurative weight, such as the weight of expectation.

Because buses are associated with public transportation, they can have related symbolism. For example, being hit by a city bus can symbolize a public dispute.

Riding on a bus can symbolize being on someone else’s schedule. And because the bus is usually driven by someone else, it can symbolize lacking control of the direction of your life or something about it, such as your love life.

The potential for symbolism expands if you actually ride a bus. Consider recent experiences on the bus, why you ride it, your impressions, and whom you regularly encounter. For example, if you ride the bus because you lost your driver’s license, consider why it happened and how it affects your life.

Being unable to leave a bus station can mean you feel trapped or hopeless. See: Beggars, Jails

As a place of transition between destination, a bus station can symbolize a transition in your life. See: Airports, Apartments

When interpreting the symbolism of a bus, consider who is on the bus with you, where it is going, and how you feel about the direction and pace of travel.

Horrible dream (Trigger warnings, abortion, bus plunges into waterway

This dream was very disturbing to me. I dreamed that I was going on a trip with a travel group and we are going over a bridge which has a body of water. The bus driver deliberately crashes the railing and the bus plunges into the water. Then the dream shifts to something unrelated.

The next part of the dream I am trying to get out of a wood panel which is on a construction site. I'm trapped inside. I am talking to the construction worker, asking him to get me out. He bangs the panel with a hammer and then I'm transformed to another place.

In the dream I'm in my mid 20's and had a recent abortion. A woman comes up to me and gives me a box which contains the remains of the fetus (after the abortion, there was a cremation). She opens the box and said, "You did this." Then she hands it to me and walks away. Then I woke up.

I was very upset when I woke up from this nightmare. I have never been pregnant nor have I had an abortion which makes this dream, very very weird.

During the last couple of months, some unexpected things happened to me that really upset me but have nothing to do with what I dreamed.

Why did I dream about saving someone I've never seen before?

I'm a 16 year old guy.

*Note: I dreamt about this a few months ago, but I wrote it down so I remember it really well.*

So basically, the dream started off with me being in a classroom with a teacher and a few other students. I was like the "new kid" in the class, which made sense as I started going to a new school because I moved.

When the class ended, we had lunch break, a girl from the class invited me to eat with her and some of her friends, as I had no friends basically. I agreed so we started going. We were going through this weird futuristic parking lot with like flying cars, as we were going through there a weird car stopped right next to us, a creepy old guy got out of the car and threatened us, and tried taking the girl with him.

I didn't let him, I started kicking him, punching him, just doing whatever to free the girl. I got her free and she immediately told me, not to tell anyone what happened. We went back to class and everything was back to normal.

Class ended, and she asked me if I could go with her to the bus station, I said yes and we went there. Then she took me to the back of the bus station where she thanked me for saving her, started hugging me, and kissed me. Right as she kissed me, I woke up, in the middle of the night.

This is by far the most interesting dream I've ever had, and I've been thinking about posting it on here for months now, and have now decided to do it.

I'm a 16 year old guy.

Last night's dream about the afterlife.

So I have this weird dream about dying that I would like to share with reddit.

The dream kind of starts off with me being in a bus accident and dying with a bunch of other people Then we were all waiting in this medieval looking room with two doors and large round tables. I was sitting at the top table with these random people and one was a cute gay looking chick. I was like hey do you want to find a back room to make out in? She acted kinda stuck-up like we just died and we are waiting to be judged and that's what you want to do? Then someone peaks out one of the doors and yells "next three for judgment in heaven!" So four of us instantly jumped up. I hate waiting for things and that's why I got up. But after I saw the others I was like y'all go ahead. I dont even want to go in there with a bunch of pretentious christians. And then I go sit at the other table. At this table , one of my friends was there and she was kinda up set about dying. After a short wait, the other door opens and is like "taking one for judgment in hell!" My friend gets up and starts to walk in and I was like girl don't you dare. You are the nicest sweetest person I know. Go sit by the other door and go to heaven as you should. So I take her place and step up for my judgment in hell.

When I go in and this demon is like you have to step into the lava. it will be as hot at as deserve it to be. So I was scared because I thought it was about to be painful and she kind of pushes me in. Then I was like oh this is nice. It was like perfectly warm and it felt really nice. And I just kept sinking into the lava. And while I was there I thought about all of my regrets in life and the people I hurt but the lava didn't get any hotter. Then after a really long time and after I thought that I was just going to stay in hell forever, after I accepted it and thought it was a nice afterlife I got yanked out. The demon said that I wasn't bad enough to be in hell. But my clothes were all burned off and I was naked and I was confused because the lava wasn't hot. But it was because it is lava. it just didnt feel hot to me because I didn't deserve it to be hot.

Then as I was leaving my ex was being brought in and he was in handcuffs. And they threw him into the lava and he turned into a demon. When I looked at the demon that gave my judgment she said that only a few humans live on earth and the rest are demons, Angels or NCPs that guide you throughout your life and that life is just a test. And I looked at my ex and thought about all the girls I saw him hurt in my lifetime and how being in a relationship with him was a test of my faith. And was like... That makes alot of sense. Then he tells me that next time he will make sure I end up in hell because he knows what to do next time and I was like bitch I'm already dead.

So the demon sent my naked self out back to the waiting room and then I was instantly taken into heaven for judgment. While I was there, the angel weighted my heart against a feather and it was the same weight and she was like well... I have to call the big man in. Then God comes in and said that I have to be reincarnated because I didn't pass or fail the test. He said that I need to listen to my conscious more because that's my moral compass and will tell me what's right and wrong. And I will live the same life again with mostly the same choices depending on how many good or bad things I do and if I do things differently. And I said I don't want to be reborn I don't like life and humans and he said because that's be you aren't meant to stay there forever. that it's just a moral test. Then i was like what if I don't really want to be in heaven with the judgmental Christians and the ones that are bad like crusaders who kill in HIS name to spread Christianity! He explained that religion is flexible and that no story on earth is the correct one. That Christianity isn't the original story. That all religions come from somewhere, the truth. That I should trust him that only people who deserve to be in heaven are good people. And so I did and I thought about how I was going to try harder to be a good person this time. And he said that I wouldn't remember any of this after being reborn and then I woke up.

So I have this weird dream about dying that I would like to share with reddit.

what do you guys this this means?

so I just smoked some dmt and took a nap and I had this dream where I was on a bus and I was hallucinating but eventually I figures out I was dreaming so I tried to wake myself up but I woke up into another dream where I was in my bedroom waking up in my bed and I was still hallucinating lots of visual snow. I went to put the overhead light on in my room and it wouldn't work so I figured I was still dreaming. this whole time I feel very heavy like I shouldn't be awake right now, like a took a shit ton of melatonin or something. so I tried to wake up and I woke up into the exact same thing and tried the exact same thing except this time I was pretty sure I was awake and I turned on my lamp which worked because the overhead light switch still didn't work and opened the door to my bedroom and I saw my sister's bedroom and the light was on but she doesn't live here anymore. I also feel heavier than I did before and I'm hallucinating even harder. I looked down the stairs and it was very dark which is weird because it's usually lit downstairs. at this point I heard a voice say "you still need to wake up" and I woke up in my bed again. at this point I thought I was definitely awake but I felt even heavier and I had even more hallucinations and I thought something along the lines of "this is what happens when you smoke too much dmt" and then I finally woke up and decided to make this post.

Have any of you fallen in love in a dream?

I just had my second experience of this last night, although I don't think it was as powerful as the first. I wrote this down as soon as I got the chance in the morning to 'record' it:

I had a really nice dream today. I dreamt I was at university, in love with a girl. She was Asian (from which country I couldn't tell) and we lived together. She had silky, shoulder length hair, like onyx, and kept two frogs as pets in our room. I can't recall their names, but I do remember being comfortable with them. We were returning from some kind of group trip on a coach when, upon our arrival, it began to rain. If I were being hyperbolic, I might have even called it torrential. We ran from the bus doors to our room, hand in tightly clasped hand, under the pregnable veil of our umbrellas, and I remember how the beads of rainwater dripped down her hair like morning dew. How, if I was searching for the pinnacle of beauty, that I had found it in her picture-frame smile; the kind that reaches up to the eyes, with hands starving for high-sat fruit on some exotic tree whose name you can't pronounce. The otherworldly kind, that you might search centuries for to no avail, and rest knowing it was a life well spent.

This one felt more like I'd already been in love with her for a long time, but the first one was the act of meeting her, 'her' being a different girl entirely, and it was significantly more intense. I woke up almost crying because I wanted to go back. She had curly Auburn hair reaching her shoulders, with bangs covering her forehead and black glasses. I get the feeling her name had a K and a Y in there, but I can't remember. There was some kind of a theme park or fair, as well as some background characters who were meant to be friends both she and I had just met, but we always wound up alone with each other. I remember feeling alone with her, even in massive crowds, and that we opened up to each other ridiculously easily, just because it felt right, and that when I'd woken up I thought to myself: 'I never need to ask myself what love feels like. It's that.'

Anyone else been through something like this?

(First post here btw, sorry if this isn't the right place or flair)
