What are possible meanings for dreams of lions?
For creatures that are rarely seen in person, lions sure do appear in the dreams of a lot of people, connected with the powerful impression they make and the multitude of associations with them.
A primary association is with temper. The loud sounds and sudden, violent actions of lions create strong association with temper.
A lion can symbolize use of scare tactics and loud protestations. For example, a woman dreams about protecting a turtle from a massive lion. The lion roars and she’s scared, but she stays between the lion and the turtle. The lion symbolizes the voice in her head that uses scare tactics to motivate herself, “do it or else” statements. The turtle symbolizes her sensitive inner nature, and protecting it from the lion means she’s realizing that protecting this part of herself is necessary for her to come out of her proverbial shell.
Usually, animals in dreams symbolize something about you, especially your ego, so ask yourself what you see about yourself in the lion. And pay attention to how you react, knowing that your reactions—especially your feelings—are tied to the underlying symbolism. See: Egos
Consider the actions and context of the dream-story. For example, a lion sleeping in a cage is not the image of ferocious temper, unless it symbolizes one that’s been tamed. Avoiding a lion can symbolize wariness of a dangerous person or situation. Encountering a lion in the wild is a way of saying you are vulnerable.
The lion is “king of the jungle” and can symbolize acting like an alpha or bully. See: Bullies
Lions show no fear. They’re dominant. They bully. They’re brave, or “brave as a lion.” Does that describe you or someone you know? See: Heroes
Lions act proud and can symbolize a high sense of self-worth or egotistical behavior: “proud as a lion.”
Lions are known for being savage, though in reality savagery depends on the temperament of the lion. In dreams, an attacking lion might symbolize a savage emotional or psychological attack, or a situation that threatens great harm, such as a bad illness or auto accident. The symbolism can be used in situations where a savage reaction is expected or feared. For example, you know that tomorrow you must give a presentation and fear being ripped to shreds by criticism of it. See: Attacking
A pack of lions can symbolize a group of influential, power-hungry, or egotistical people. They dominate other people and attack in groups.
A caged lion can symbolize a need for kitty to be let out to play. You need freedom to roam, explore, and live the way you want to. See: Cages
Finally, the lion is the animal associated with the astrological sign of Leo. A lion in your dream might symbolize someone you know who is born under that sign.
Be sure to read: Leopard, Tiger.

Locked in a room with a random child after seeing a lion in a house
I had a dream that I am failing to understand. First of all, my brain/subconscious has recently been obsessed with the numbers 11 and 22 which I found out have a deep meaning when it comes to transformation and manifestation, so I'm curious if this dream has anything to do with that. Everywhere I look I see 11 and 22, and it's getting really annoying. Like at 1:11 and 12:21 every day my mind is like "oh, time to look at the clock!" And those numbers pop up every chance they get.
In my dream I'm in a house, by myself. There were other people in the house, but I wasn't sure at the time where they were or if they were still at the house. There was an incident or something before this part where no one took me seriously.
I'm alone and I look into a living area and there is a lion. The lion is calm, and doesn't know I am there. I get scared and try to figure out how to make sure the lion doesn't find me. The lion starts to pace around a bit, so I look for the closest room. I am concerned, but I feel calm and like finding a room will be good enough to keep me safe. There is a random child that comes up and I explain to the child we need to save ourselves from the lion. The child is about 7-9 years old, has no hair, is androgynous in appearance, and is dressed very plainly.
We go into a room and lock the door. I know the door is locked, and I know the lion is out there. The child is calm, and I am trying to remain calm, but it occurs to me that no one can help us. For some reason, calling for help or calling animal control is not an option, because they will not come to help me. I know that I am alone with this child in this room with the lion now in the hallway calmly walking around. The lion is not looking for us, but I can imagine now that it's inevitable eventually the lion will want to come into this room, and will be able to damage the door and get in. I'm imagining being eaten by the lion, and having to accept that this is my fate. At that moment the dream ends and I wake up.

Killing a lion
I had a dream where I killed a dark black male lion with gold hair. It didn't seem to really notice me and I killed it with a bolt action rifle. I looked it in the eyes as well, still didn't really notice me kinda just ignored me. The environment can best be described as desert/jungle. I was a behind a log. It was close, arms length, from me when I first shoot it. The 1st shoot was in in the back of the tail. The 2nd was in the middle of the back. The 3rd was in the back of the head. When I landed the 3rd shot I was amazed, shocked, and a lil unbelieved what I did. Not feeling sad, happy, or angry. Then the I noticed as the lion layed dead it started to turn gray and (best to describe) rise up a lil to where I could see its back paws, legs, stomach, and chin at eye level. DOES THIS MEAN ANYTHING?

Seeing lions in a dream?
I recently had a dream where I was in my backyard and I saw a lion in the distance, about 150ft away or so looking at me. Then I got nervous and jumped into my garden and a lioness followed me into it. I found a stick and hit its head trying to defend myself and it just sat there staring off into the distance. Being perfectly peaceful and not acknowledging me.
After that my garden “turned on”. Like it had an engine and everything it needed to be able to drive 😂. It drove backwards and I don’t remember the rest.
Definitely a wild dream lol. I’ve never had one like this and I’m looking for an interpretation if anyone has one, thank you.

I was just curious about what meaning if this dream has one means.
It felt powerful so after I woke up i wanted to know what this meant. So the dream starts in a area that i m familiar with, a area that I pass everytime I go home. It s a field with houses but most of the field isn t occupied yet it s just for sale. The sun is setting so I have that good vibe going on because i love the color of a sun set, a warm orange light. I see this artist that I really enjoy, Jaden Smith, to be exact passing by on the main road with a skateboard and I watch him from the field. Then for some reason I ask a dude with some glasses and ginger hair and beard how much does it cost to buy land here, since I saw him with some papers and i figured he would know. Another strange thing, my natal language isn t english it s romanian, so I thought to myself why didn t I ask him in romanian first since we are in romania right? Like I know this place? Then for some reason the answer to this thought came from a feeling that seeing Jaden made me speak english so that everyone understands. Anyway, the dude is very friendly, and answers oh it s better than other places here it s 10 pounds per ... and then he stops and we say at the same time per meter? And he says yes. Then i leave next thing and here starts the part im most interested. I go to this house and there s a person i can t remember if it was a man or a child / teenager but it was male for sure who said something like we need to hunt a lion.. note that this part isn t really what I heard in the dream but the ideas are the same. Then I reply with but what about the cubs of the lion? You re gonna leave them alone. From there I don t remember what he said or happened but it felt like he ignored me. Next thing you know im in a house and these 2 big dudes hold the lion with a chain up while the skinny dude with a sniper or something with a scope shoots a tranquilizing dart in the lion. I see all of this and i feel like i have to free this lion. The dudes drag the lion to the entrance of the house in chains and leave him there with me. The lion seems pretty beat up, blood on his stomach, even thought they just shot him with a dart. We are still in the same area that I can recognize, still in the field. The field has a main road that leads to my house but im on a different road, a road that still connects to the field road. So i see the lion I pick him up the chains dissapear, and I run. I exit the yard of the house and run and run. As I run the lion slowly wakes up and as he does I have this fear of him attacking me. As he almost wakes I put him on a whole different field with just dirt not the same field that i recognize in real life and wait. As he wakes ans gets up the dudes in the house see this and chase after us. We both begin running and as we run one dude shoots at the lion and out of nowhere I pull out a silver serving dish and block the bullet. Like I put it in front of the bullet and save the lion from what it felt a deadly shot. And that s how it ends. Any meanings on the lion part? Im just curious ty :)
