What are possible meanings for dreams of warriors?

In the image of a warrior in your dream you might see the side of yourself that fights your battles and defends yourself and your turf. You are the warrior, whether the dream shows you as a warrior or that side of yourself is projected onto a dream character.

When it’s projected onto a character, the warrior symbol can be a way of showing potential to be warrior-like in how you go about your life or defend yourself personally, psychologically, and emotionally, or give you a chance to step back and recognize something about yourself.

The warrior is a set of traits and characteristics that you may or may not have: duty, honor, discipline, restraint, structure, aggression, persistence, sacrifice. It can symbolize living by a code.

Warriors can have specific symbolism related to situations and circumstances in your life and the roles you play. You’re a warrior when you protect your children and build a home for them, not just a roof over their heads but the home in their minds and hearts. Or if you go to battle daily at work, you might dream about yourself as a warrior. See: War

You’re a warrior as you plow ahead in your life trying to reach your goals and personal destinations.

Many daily activities are warrior-like, such as when you plan and prepare. You might not see yourself as a warrior, but you still are one every time you act disciplined, enforce a boundary, draw a line in the sand, or make a sacrifice.

You’re a warrior whenever you draw on your courage. A warrior can symbolize the hero within you, or one in your life. See: Heroes

A warrior can symbolize high skill and keen ability or instincts.

Dreams speak to the sources of these traits and characteristics in you, to the people, teachings and experiences that instill them in you and to the roots of your ideas, notions, and feelings. From parents and family members to teachers, coaches, masters, and personal heroes, and from your experiences in games, sports, and conflicts to everything you’ve taken in from media and advertising, your dreams have a tremendously broad and deep pool of possibilities from which to draw.

A warrior in your dream might represent something about yourself tied to self-image as a warrior, or an archetype in your psyche. The Warrior archetype governs your energy related to discipline, effort, and sacrifice. It shapes your thoughts, feelings, and perceptions. It sends imagery into your mind related to your capacity for bringing that energy into every area of your life: home and family, work and career, relationships and social life, intellect and leadership.

When you dream about a famous warrior such as Bruce Lee or Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, or someone else, famous or not, who embodies the qualities of a warrior, you might see something about that person that you also see in yourself. In these dreams you’re likely to feel kinship or friendship for the warrior character. See: Famousness

Water – Water in a dream has close associations with emotions. The symbolism is created by the fact that things can be immersed in water. It moves, and moves you. Water can be ineffable, the same as emotions. Bodies of water can spark strong emotions, such as when you look out over an ocean. Emotions are sometimes described as “wet,” whereas the opposite idea is expressed if someone is said to be dry and emotionless

The state and condition of water presents a wide variety of uses as symbolism related to emotions: calm, turbulent, hot, cold, frozen, deep, shallow. See: Emotions, Ice

Plus, being in water is very much an experience of feeling sensation with the body, and emotions are felt in the body. It’s a great metaphor to describe the mind’s experience of emotions. It’s like floating, swimming or immersion. See: Floating

Water can be used figuratively to characterize a situation, such as “in hot water,” or “fish out of water.”

A flawed argument “doesn’t hold water.”

An inexperienced person is “wet.”

The symbolism of water can be expressed by figures of speech such as “going under” and “stay afloat.” See: Drowning

Water is associated with the unconscious mind because the content of the unconscious is largely outside conscious awareness, just as underwater objects and creatures can be difficult or impossible to see from the surface. Plus, the unconscious mind is like a womb, and the aware ego “floats” within it—that’s how it feels.

When water is used to symbolize the unconscious mind, it is usually vast like the ocean, because the unconscious is vast, especially in comparison with the conscious mind. The ocean is mysterious, and the unconscious mind is mysterious, too. See: Oceans, Unconscious minds

Water is used in baptism and other spiritual rites because of its associations with cleansing of sins and impurity. Spirit is compared with water because it flows, overcomes resistance, and shapes itself to any container. People are said to “thirst” for truth, and Jesus Christ said he gave “living water,” another way of saying his teachings moved the spirit within people. See: Clean, Spirits

In psychoanalytic tradition, water is associated with birth and infantile desires, because a fetus is surrounded by fluid while in the womb, and a pregnant woman’s water breaks when she is ready to give birth. Water connects people back to their mothers, and if Sigmund Freud is to be believed, everyone has a basic desire to return to the warmth and safety of the womb. See: Babies, Giving birth, Mothers

This idea extends to water as a medium for creation, and that describes yin in a nutshell. Water is ultimately where all biological life originates. The human body is made up mostly of water, and it’s essential for life. See: Uteruses, Vaginas

Murky water in a dream can symbolize clouded emotions. It can symbolize a situation that is murky, dark, gloomy, immoral, or not fully understood. See: Blindness, Darkness

These possibilities are only the tip of the iceberg, but use the entries listed below to uncover more of it.

Dream about being God-Emperor of the world

I had a very strange dream last night. I dreamt that I was a God-like figure and went on this journey to take over the world, then the rest of the dream was me controlling the entire world and reshaping society in my image.

Some of the things I remember doing were: wage massive & devastating wars against rivalling leaders, hypnotize the entire world to obey my commands, decimate half the world's population Thanos-style to control the population and select for only the strongest warriors in my army, control the direction of society and its growth over time, and ordered the construction of a massive temple in which sacrifices were to be offered to me.

Whenever I saw myself in the dream, I looked either like Jesus, or like Lelouch Vi Britannia from the anime Code Geass (Spoiler: >!who takes over the world with the power to make anyone obey him.!<)

The entire dream had a lot of religious imagery and felt very epic. Like for example the temple I ordered to construct felt like it was the Beit Hamikdash, or the temple God command the Jews to construct in Israel. There was also this moment in the dream where I publicly lambasted my head priest/pope for not making my "Church" orthodox/strict enough.

Can anyone interpret this dream? I've never had anything like it before. Thanks.

Dream that I had when I asked my subconscious what I really wanted to be.(As in ANYTHING)

The dream started with me in a Minecraft world trying to survive in my epic base. I was Minecraft Steve with a white hoodie btw. Then Sora, Anna and the beast from Kingdom hearts appear out of nowhere and started exploring my base. I decided to build some wooden tools even tho my base is epic, I should have had a full diamond set by now. The beast asked me what I was doing and I then told him what the tools where for.

Then the dream switched to me going on a forum and searching how I could exploit the moonlight in the game to mine chunks of diamonds. Some guy posted a solution but the pics he sent where not loading. I tried loading it many times and eventually they loaded. But they weren't the pics that I hoped for. They were pornographic pics of an Indian pornographic film. I then got horny, decided to watch the movie and faped to it. The plot was about Indian female employees getting molested by their boss. Pretty gross right?

For some reason in between the movie, I remembered the question I asked to my subconscious and another movie appeared in front of me. It was about two warriors with armor that looked like a mix between Cobra's mask(the silver one) from G.I. Joe, a ''frost helmet'' from a game on Roblox called *Dungeon Quest* and King Arthur's armor from Sonic and the black knight. They had big swords that had this kind of mix too. The plot of this movie is that they needed to kill a wizard who uses a demon to control his people. At the end of the movie, the heroes remove their masks to reveal two old men on their 40's. That somehow felt like an element of comedy even though they said nothing.

Eventually it returned to me masturbating at the indian movie but I was in a church with big window and theater in front. I couldn't fap because my sister walked in. Then she got out of the room and I started again. But I hid myself from some old man because I didn't want him to see me. At some point I just stopped because I wouldn't ejaculate. I looked around for other SFW films and found one documentary about kaijus.

But the dream abruptly ended with me running away from my mom with my ''brothers'' because I was about to get butt slapped.

My dream of a giant graveyard filled with statues

Many years ago I had a dream where I was in a huge graveyard as big as new york city. The graveyard was filled with huge building-sized statues of warriors and grim-looking beings. Some had red eyes and whispered as I passed. I was on a path between it. I was with some like some caretaker or someone who was with me but no one else was there. The sky was crimson and there was a bit of darkness in the sky. I asked them where I was, and the only other person pointed in the direction of a huge statue, and under it was a little statue that was a size of a man how was holding a sword facing the ground that was meant to be me. Any help would be great thanks...I wrote a poem and story about this dream.

Sword combat training in golden armor

I've had a reoccurring dream, and flashes of it pop up in meditation...

On a beach, the sun is just rising above the ocean's horizon. Loaded out in full golden armor and being taught by an unfamiliar man in similar, but more elegant, armor. He's walking me through sword technique, very slow mock sparring so I get the motions down. It feels like we've done this before because it's like a warm up or ritual we do before turning up things a notch and increasing the speed and intensity.

His blows start to come in harder, more directed and backed with intent to do harm. He's frustrated or angry with my performance. "You know this!" "Fight! Fight like you want to live!" "Fight with everything you have, your life will depend on it!" All I can do is block what's coming in, I don't know how to press an advance or take the offensive to win.

I either wake up here or time flashes forward to the day's end. He's talking to me like a teacher, or mentor would. "You've got the heart, your spirit is strong.... take in the light and wield it. You're a warrior for us." At this point he either flashes out in a bright golden light or I wake up just as he slaps his hand on my back.
